    5 HAND ROLL*
    Alex C.

I had a light lunch at the Temaki Bar located inside the Aria Hotel. They had a 5 hand roll special. All handmade and served one at a time. This kept the nori wrapper fresh and crunchy. The fish was so fresh and great flavors. The service was fast and I sat at a sushi bar. I washed it down with iced green tea. It was pretty reasonably priced for Las Vegas.

Located in the Food Hall on the Promenade of the Aria, this little spot is great for a light meal if you're in the mood for sushi! You can sit at the bar and they have a sushi chef make the hand rolls fresh for you to enjoy, but they also have a take out menu in which I believe you can order normal rolls and nigiri. The Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice was excellent, as well as all of the handrolls we ordered. This is a good spot if you're in the area and looking to splurge, but I do find it a bit steep for the price. Overall we had a good experience!

A hand roll bar at the food court Aria hotel. The mobile menu is different from ordering at the counter. Weirdly they only have good items available for people eating at the counter. We have tried couple appetizers and a hand roll combo. I don't eat raw fish so I had the cooked ones and they were delicious. I especially liked king crab hand roll. Hubby liked spicy tuna and toro. We shared 2 cans of Kikusui cold sake and a matcha iced tea. The seatings were comfortable and service was friendly. A solid hand roll bar for lunch or snack food.

Temaki bar is a surprise treat located in the Aria Hotel. This is a reasonably priced sushi/handroll bar. I was looking for a quick lunch that is high in protein and low in fat. I ordered the 3 hand roll set, the seaweed was crispy and the rice was perfect. It's also delicious. I loved my salted edamame! The service was good enough to come back for more. This place is SOLID!

The sushi is mediocre at best! You order from a kiosk and grab a table. Waited about thirty minutes to get the food. If you dine in they give you a box with no plates and ginger and soy sauce in packages. Overrated. 125.00 for a few rolls the "high roller" plus a tip 22.50 for no customer service. I would consider going somewhere else.

The hand rolls here are amazing. The hand rolls are made one at a time so the seaweed is nice and crunchy and the rice is still warm. When you bite into it, you experience a nice crunch as you bight straight through the roll. No need to tear and pull at the soft seaweed to get at the meat. It is truly an amazing experience. The service is great and the ambiance is chill. I would highly recommend this spot for all you handroll lovers. This is one of my new favorite spots.

The staff were kind. The Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice was okay. The fish felt like a mishmash of shredded tuna, not really like a whole tuna cut. The ambiance was bar-like. Clean.

Eat it fast so you can enjoy the seaweed crunch!

Tikka Bar is one of my fav quick and fast sushi roll lunch or dinner spot whenever im in Vegas. Located in Cosmopolitan in district 16 food court area. Just sit down and they will come and greet you. Menu: very simple. I ordered: The Highroller for $41- comes with 5 type of rolls, which are: Salmon Yellowtail Bay scallop Blue crab Tekka spicy tuna They are very fresh, cold crispy seafood with warm rice. You can substitute your seaweed with soy wrap for $1 more Since they are a part of mgm, you can charge it to your room.

The toro hand roll and spicy tuna are sensational. Only complaint is the spicy tuna crispy rice is a small portion, so expect to order something else. I sat at the bar and was quickly situated by the waitress. My items came out quickly and they give you the option of tap or fiji water ($6) It's a small bar style sushi/sashimi/hand roll joint. If I'm at the Aria again I would check it out if I'm looking for quick bites

Great waitress who guided us and got us in, out, fed and happy. Sushi hand rolls were Filling and fun. Tuna was excellent. It is in a food court corner- hidden so it felt cozy. Highly recommend.

Fun place to get your sushi fix. Sit at the bar, order some sake and enjoy! The high roller pack was good and very filling. I think 4 rolls would have been just perfect. The server was informative and courteous. Good place for some quick-casual fun sushi dining.

The nigiri and specialty rolls are consistently solid, and you don't feel like they're skimping on quality just because it's all-you-can-eat. The vibe is lively and fun without being too chaotic, and service is usually on point, which makes it an easy go-to for locals and visitors alike. It's one of those places where you leave full, happy, and already thinking about what you'll order next time. Not sure why this place is rated so high…read more I'd probably give this place around 3 stars overall. The food honestly wasn't that great compared to other spots in the area. It wasn't terrible by any means, but nothing really stood out and there are definitely better places if you're specifically craving Japanese food. What really bothered me though was the pricing situation. We came during their lunch AYCE hours, but because there was a festival going on that weekend, they decided to charge full dinner price instead. So I am docking off another point for the owners being greedy. Service itself was okay, just not enough to justify the higher price they charged us.

Chef Shuji runs the restaurant with his wife next to him in the kitchen. The fish here is flown in from Japan and of the highest quality as you can see from the sheen and fat marbling. The tuna melts in your mouth and bite after bite is a wonderful experience as you pair it with soy sauce, fresh Wasabi, yuzu Wasabi, or some combination of the condiments provided. This is also the first sushi restaurant I have ever been to that automatically brings out fresh Wasabi without having to ask. The portions are generous and we left feeling very satisfied. Even though we were very full, we took a look at the dessert menu. Not pictured here is a sweet potato with ice cream and brown sugar glaze. This dish on the menu was unassuming but the taste was so decadent. Quite possibly the best and sweetest sweet potato I have ever tasted. The chef slowly roasts them over a 2 hour period, rotating the potatoes every so slightly every 15 minutes. The sweet potato could be a dessert by itself, it was that good! Chef Shuji is a charming and funny host. He regularly comes out to greet his customers and makes sure they are enjoying their meal, very high-touch. If you know Japanese - even if it's just a few phrases, speak with him as he will be delighted. He was absolutely tickled when we said arigato and he shared that he is originally from Kyoto. You don't need to go to the Strip for Ari yeah!…read more Ari Sushi & Izakaya is a very well-Yelped restaurant in the southwest. I've particularly seen buddies post about it on Instagram a lot, and I finally made my way out there since I found that it aligned with my mom's food craving. I went for the Ari Ari Combo ($29.00). It started with a little bowl of balanced miso soup and a tiny side salad with fresh greens and a simple sesame dressing, and was followed by six thin but delicious sashimi slices and four basic but also solid-quality nigiri. I would be more than happy to come back try to more of their raw fish any time. If that doesn't sound like enough for lunch, I did share other food items. The Garlic Edamame ($7.00) felt a little less salted than I expected but was a good portion and had plenty of both a garlic sauce and crispy garlic slivers. I also helped out with a Bento with 3 items ($25.00): bulgogi, mixed tempura, and spicy tuna roll. The bulgogi was tender but not strongly marinated enough and the spicy tuna roll felt pretty standard, but I did really enjoy the shrimp tempura and the veggie tempura pieces which I tried. They were super hot and crispy while being cooked perfectly inside, and the sauce was perfect. The music was relaxing and not played at a very high volume. The restaurant is a little more dim than I'd like and could benefit from overhead narrow-angle lights, but maybe the food was just that good that the lighting wasn't so important. The server was happy to refill my complimentary water with lemon as often as needed, as well as to add more water to the Hot Green Tea ($4.00). I did try some of the tea, and it was potent and low in bitterness. I'm pleased to report that Ari Sushi really does offer delicious sushi, enough so that I'll probably have to make more trips from Henderson to try more of their menu. If you want high quality mid-price-range sushi that's not in an all you can eat format, this is a great place to look.
