We had the sashimi, Ichigo tuna roll and the crispy Hokkaido scallops as appetizers All were excellent but the scallops were the best For the restaurant week I got the crab spring roll and the Panang crispy duck. My 2 companions each got something different so we ordered everything on the RW menu. Watermelon Poke salad- delicious and very large. Crab spring roll- just ok, used to the Vietnamese version, crab seemed to mild to carry the dish FUHU Thai jerky - delicious. Loved it For entrees Panang crispy duck. Amazing. Delicious curry, spicy and perfectly cooked duck Tiger Wagyu fried rice- very good, and very large. Seafood drunken noodles- very tasty with all types of seafood in it. For dessert we all got the Panthers sweets- when we walked in we saw a dish served on a tray with an illuminated tree. Asked the waiter what it was and it was the cake, so had to have it. The girlfriend and I visited Vegas and shared our first dinner here after we landed in town. Since we stayed at the Resort World we were looking for somewhere conveniently located inside the resort and had an eclectic Asian themed restaurant and Fuhu was the choice. I really don't like giving poor reviews, and given how poorly Resorts World is performing, I almost expected Fuhu to be mediocre, but it was just so "meh," I feel like I need to chime in. The restaurant itself is beautiful, set just off the casino at Resorts World's restaurant row. I was dining by myself, and the place was maybe 5-10% occupied. The hostess was great, and sat me immediately, and I was able to order right away. The ponzu oysters were tasteless, the crispy tuna was okay, as was the yellowtail sashimi, but what killed me was how minuscule the nigiri (oh toro and bluefin tuna) portions were... probably half of what you'd expect. Decided to come here as a pre-carver steak dinner to use my FHR credit since it wouldn't be eligible at Carver Steak. The plan was to try some cocktails and have a couple bites so the reservation was made with few expectations. We ended up really liking this place. The service and food were both excellent. We tried the shrimp chips which were like a butterflied shrimp infused with a shrimp chip. To me this was a great example of a fusion dish gone right and I loved it. We also tried the KPOP crab roll which has pop rocks in it to give a slightly sweet and interesting mouth feel. This one was also good. Think California roll with real crab and pop rocks. The last snack we tried was the lettuce cup which was basically a protein style Baja fish taco. Also really yummy. The space is directly next to the nightclub, Zouk, so the vibe is very clubby and it can be a bit loud. If I could give this place more stars I would. Went Wednesday night and had an amazing meal. Drinks were great, the decor was so cute, service was great, but what really blew me away was the food. The egg drop soup was soooo good and flavorful! The crunchy rice was a perfect amount of rice and fish. It was so delicious. What stole the show was the new york strip. We dined at this beautiful Japanese restaurant located inside Resorts World Las Vegas, and the location couldn't have been more perfect since we were staying there for our Valentine's Vegas wedding anniversary. The sizzling steak plate was absolutely delicious -- flavorful, tender, and served with a sauce that complemented it perfectly. My husband and I completely devoured it! We also ordered the egg drop soup, which is one of my personal favorites, and it did not disappoint. It was comforting and so satisfying. We then ordered the Lucky Eight Basket, and everything in it was fantastic -- from the crab to the shrimp and pork. Each bite was fresh and flavorful. The ambiance here is just as impressive as the food. The restaurant is elegant and beautifully designed. I especially loved the pink flowers inside and outside -- they add such a romantic touch. The bar area is stunning as well, and the chandelier is absolutely gorgeous and sparkly, creating the perfect atmosphere for a special evening. We ordered the scallop roll, the tuna tartar, stea, udon and the duck fried rice. The highlight of the night was the tuna tartare and the duck fried rice. I have never had a rice fried that was so flavorful. The sushi roll wasn't anything special and probably won't order that again. The tuna was amazing as well! Great service, delicious food and awesome vibe. This place is happening and gets very busy so reservations are highly recommended. Alfredo was our server who was extremely friendly and attentive. He had great recommendations and took care of my dietary restrictions. We ordered the fried rice which was reddish in color so you wonder what it would taste like. Well it was very flavorful and I could have eaten the whole order it was so tasty. Sushi was great, fish used was fresh and proportion of the rolls were perfect. We had ahi tuna and salmon both were so good. They also make really good cocktails and have an extensive wine list. Everyone here is friendly. I tend to be worried about overly aesthetic spots, but this spot definitely delivered with their gorgeous, cherry blossom-inspired ambiance, and the quality of their food as well! We went with the Ladies Night Menu, and every item was truly a standout with everyone at the table, especially their egg drop soup, brussel sprout salad, and vegetable lo mein, which featured innovative fusion flavors and were executed quite well. Since this menu seemed to be heavily plant-based, we also ordered the steak, but that was unfortunately overcooked and overly salty, and left unfinished by a full table of hungry girls. My only gripe (other than the steak) was the service, which was so nice, but frankly disorganized. The hostess accidentally ruined our birthday surprise for the birthday girl, and told us the wrong time that the kitchen was closing, but she was able to kindly adjust our reservation to a later time since we were running late. Our waiter also seemed confused about requested substitutions and allergy accommodations, but thankfully we were able to clear this up with him and the manager before anybody ingested an allergen. The highlight of our night was definitely when they delivered our cake with sparklers, candles, a lit up sign, and sang happy birthday to the birthday girl, and they were also able to store the cake for us while we were nearby at Zouk, which was deeply appreciated. Overall, a great Asian fusion spot with a diverse (and well-developed) menu, and with improvements in service, I can definitely see this being a hot spot to visit if you're in Vegas! read more

First, our server was top tier - his attentiveness, enthusiasm, and overall great customer service was much appreciated. We started with drinks, which were really good but the stars of my night were the popcorn shrimp and the combo fried rice. Off break, $32 for popcorn shrimp... ehh we are in Vegas I get it but POPCORN SHRIMP... let me tell you, FUHU's popcorn shrimp are nothing popcorn-y at all! These are giant gems of deliciousness fried and tossed in spicy mayo. J couldn't stop eating them! I also ordered the Shrimp Tempura, which was also good... your go-to shrimp tempura. For my entree, my combo signature fried rice was FILLED with chicken, beef, shrimp, crab, and lobster for $25 - why not. The rice is red and is (if I remember correctly) infused with beet juice, which gives it its bright red color - so, so, so good! If only my pics were scratch, sniff, and taste (ha!)! I usually prefer Kusa Nori but they were having a fixed menu steak event so we came here. So many issues ensued. Ordered the Kpop roll -- they forgot the pop rocks, that's the signature part of it. And the crab was mushy and all mayo. The rainbow roll was fried (to lock in the crunch) -- didn't say that on the menu. And also had the lousy crab. The tuna strawberry roll has cucumber in it, didn't say that on the menu. (But it was good otherwise). They never brought the edamame we ordered. All in all meh. read more

Had a chance to have dinner here during a recent business trip to Vegas. It's a beautiful restaurant with sakura flowers adorning it throughout. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful as he navigated us through the menu. I was with two others so we had a chance to sample a in the selection of their menu, including the tempura, green beans, edamame hummus, sushi rolls and nigiri, octopus, mushrooms and beet fried rice. Yes you heard that right. Beet fried rice which was incredible. Everything we was delicious at the top of the night off we enjoyed a couple of their desserts. I'm not a huge dessert, person myself, but these were nice. I'd probably skip it the next time I come back to have more sake instead. :-) Eating in Vegas can be a little expensive, especially in the resorts, but this was worth the visit. We went on a Saturday, wanting to choose a location closer to Fountainebleau for a concert. The restaurant is really beautiful and trendy. Our waiter immediately approached and informed us about the half price appetizers for happy hour. We were pleased, since this was a Saturday and rarely on the strip will you see a special on this particular day. We ordered the Edamame, and the Waygu potstickers for starters...and then added a Chicken chow mein to share and asked for it to be spicy. We also ordered a couple of Sapporo's. The beers came in really cool glasses and they were good. The edamame was pretty good with sesame seeds and a nice spice, but the crown jewel were those potstickers...they were outrageously good! The Chicken chow mein was perfectly spicy...I will definitely be back..just for the potstickers alone. We mentioned to our server for no particular reason that we were local and he put a discount on the bill for us. Gorgeous property! We went here on a Wednesday night (right at opening). I accidentally parked at a far parking structure but luckily parking was free with local ID. This spot is located closer to Zouk night club and other spots (I cut through the casino based on my far parking spot). We did family style bites which included: Miso Cod Tacos (melt in your mouth good), Umami Salted Green Bean Fries (delicious dipping sauce and crunchy fries), Popcorn Shrimp (perfectly flavored and crunchy), Salmon sushi (super fresh), Hamachi sushi (very fresh), and Edamame Fuhummus (unique chip and dip combo but my favorite item on the menu). The spot had a chill lounge vibe and the decor complemented the menu nicely. The backbar was elegantly displayed and although there weren't as many booths or much seating, it was more of an intimate feel. Service was top notch and I feel like the quality of the food matched the service. Each item was brought out quickly and the servers explained each item thoroughly. The presentation of each item was also pretty amazing. It wasn't super busy to where anyone needed to be seated outside, but it was nice and intimate with a lot of space in between each of the tables. I can say that I was pleasantly surprised with the venue, quality of the food, and the service. Job well done from the staff. The Fuhu roll was a bit too sour for our taste, and the cucumber salad was just okay. The fried rice was like any other fried rice but the red color was from using beet juice, which didn't affect its flavor. The chicken had too much breading and was tasteless. Overall it was a notch above McDonald's nuggets. The gochujang sauce made it a little better. At $40 they have lost their dang minds. I don't think anything was wrong with it and that's why I didn't take it back but probably should have. The Egg Drop Soup was just average. My wife enjoyed the crispy brussel sprout salad and we both really liked the jade river cake (best thing we ate that evening but we came for dinner not dessert) Service was good and the atmosphere was really neat but unfortunately the food (especially the Korean fried chicken) did not deliver. read more

We came here to dine after the Janet injection show because this was the only one that was open a little later than the other restaurants and eateries. Atmosphere: low lighting and cool decor. Armando was our server and he was not good at all. He never checked on us and spent a lot of time at other tables. His teammates were great and accommodating. Food: I wasn't really hungry and nothing on the menu really stuck out to me. I ordered the tuna crispy rice. The tuna had a great flavor. However, the crispy rice was not good at all. It was too gooey and tasteless. The person I dined with ordered a noodle dish and I believe they enjoyed that. Overall, I did not like the dining experience due to us having an awful server and bad food. I may go back in the future and try another server and maybe a better dish. read more

My first visit to FUHU was about 1.5 years ago and I really enjoyed the experience. The restaurant with beautifully decorated and the menu was heavily Asian-themed from what I remembered. The food this go round wasn't what I'd expected. I was advised the menu had changed and it felt as though it lost the Asian touch it once had. I ordered a popcorn shrimp dish that was new to the menu. It was reminiscent of "bang-bang shrimp" from bonefish grill but lacked sauce. The chicken lo-mein was simple but delicious. The steak had a brown sugar glaze of some sort. I wasn't a huge fan but it was cooked at my desired temperature. I finished my meal with an Asian pear sorbet which was light and refreshing. Such a fun evening eatery in Resorts World, right by its nightclub Zouk and easily accessible from the outside. We liked the menu a lot, especially the sushi items. Everything we had was delicious and well-portioned for two. The salmon carpaccio and fried rice were our favorites. They serve more Asian inspired dishes. Some things we ordered: Otoro (5/5) - it was topped with gold flakes but definitely steep on the price. Probably the best thing I've ate.
