We dined at this beautiful Japanese restaurant located inside Resorts World Las Vegas, and the location couldn't have been more perfect since we were staying there for our Valentine's Vegas wedding anniversary. The sizzling steak plate was absolutely delicious -- flavorful, tender, and served with a sauce that complemented it perfectly. My husband and I completely devoured it! We also ordered the egg drop soup, which is one of my personal favorites, and it did not disappoint. It was comforting and so satisfying. We then ordered the Lucky Eight Basket, and everything in it was fantastic -- from the crab to the shrimp and pork. Each bite was fresh and flavorful. The ambiance here is just as impressive as the food. The restaurant is elegant and beautifully designed. I especially loved the pink flowers inside and outside -- they add such a romantic touch. The bar area is stunning as well, and the chandelier is absolutely gorgeous and sparkly, creating the perfect atmosphere for a special evening. Should have gotten the hint with the first 2 letters in the name of the restaurant. Whoever put the Korean Fried Chicken on the menu should be thrown out the building. The chicken had too much breading and was tasteless. Overall it was a notch above McDonald's nuggets. The gochujang sauce made it a little better. At $40 they have lost their dang minds. I don't think anything was wrong with it and that's why I didn't take it back but probably should have. The Egg Drop Soup was just average. We came here on a Friday night with no reservations and were seated right away. The service is amazing as the servers were really knowledgeable on making recommendations. We ordered the scallop roll, the tuna tartar, stea, udon and the duck fried rice. The highlight of the night was the tuna tartare and the duck fried rice. I have never had a rice fried that was so flavorful. The sushi roll wasn't anything special and probably won't order that again. The tuna was amazing as well! He had great recommendations and took care of my dietary restrictions. We ordered the fried rice which was reddish in color so you wonder what it would taste like. Well it was very flavorful and I could have eaten the whole order it was so tasty. Sushi was great, fish used was fresh and proportion of the rolls were perfect. We had ahi tuna and salmon both were so good. They also make really good cocktails and have an extensive wine list. Everyone here is friendly. I tend to be worried about overly aesthetic spots, but this spot definitely delivered with their gorgeous, cherry blossom-inspired ambiance, and the quality of their food as well! We went with the Ladies Night Menu, and every item was truly a standout with everyone at the table, especially their egg drop soup, brussel sprout salad, and vegetable lo mein, which featured innovative fusion flavors and were executed quite well. Since this menu seemed to be heavily plant-based, we also ordered the steak, but that was unfortunately overcooked and overly salty, and left unfinished by a full table of hungry girls. My only gripe (other than the steak) was the service, which was so nice, but frankly disorganized. The hostess accidentally ruined our birthday surprise for the birthday girl, and told us the wrong time that the kitchen was closing, but she was able to kindly adjust our reservation to a later time since we were running late. Our waiter also seemed confused about requested substitutions and allergy accommodations, but thankfully we were able to clear this up with him and the manager before anybody ingested an allergen. The highlight of our night was definitely when they delivered our cake with sparklers, candles, a lit up sign, and sang happy birthday to the birthday girl, and they were also able to store the cake for us while we were nearby at Zouk, which was deeply appreciated. Overall, a great Asian fusion spot with a diverse (and well-developed) menu, and with improvements in service, I can definitely see this being a hot spot to visit if you're in Vegas! read more

Fuhu delivers a vibe. The atmosphere is lively and fun perfect for a late-night hang (huge plus that they take reservations and stay open till midnight on Saturdays!). First, our server was top tier - his attentiveness, enthusiasm, and overall great customer service was much appreciated. We started with drinks, which were really good but the stars of my night were the popcorn shrimp and the combo fried rice. Off break, $32 for popcorn shrimp... ehh we are in Vegas I get it but POPCORN SHRIMP... let me tell you, FUHU's popcorn shrimp are nothing popcorn-y at all! These are giant gems of deliciousness fried and tossed in spicy mayo. J couldn't stop eating them! I also ordered the Shrimp Tempura, which was also good... your go-to shrimp tempura. For my entree, my combo signature fried rice was FILLED with chicken, beef, shrimp, crab, and lobster for $25 - why not. The rice is red and is (if I remember correctly) infused with beet juice, which gives it its bright red color - so, so, so good! If only my pics were scratch, sniff, and taste (ha!)! Had a chance to have dinner here during a recent business trip to Vegas. It's a beautiful restaurant with sakura flowers adorning it throughout. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful as he navigated us through the menu. I was with two others so we had a chance to sample a in the selection of their menu, including the tempura, green beans, edamame hummus, sushi rolls and nigiri, octopus, mushrooms and beet fried rice. Yes you heard that right. Beet fried rice which was incredible. Everything we was delicious at the top of the night off we enjoyed a couple of their desserts. I'm not a huge dessert, person myself, but these were nice. I'd probably skip it the next time I come back to have more sake instead. :-) Eating in Vegas can be a little expensive, especially in the resorts, but this was worth the visit. We went on a Saturday, wanting to choose a location closer to Fountainebleau for a concert. The restaurant is really beautiful and trendy. Our waiter immediately approached and informed us about the half price appetizers for happy hour. We were pleased, since this was a Saturday and rarely on the strip will you see a special on this particular day. We ordered the Edamame, and the Waygu potstickers for starters...and then added a Chicken chow mein to share and asked for it to be spicy. We also ordered a couple of Sapporo's. The beers came in really cool glasses and they were good. The edamame was pretty good with sesame seeds and a nice spice, but the crown jewel were those potstickers...they were outrageously good! The Chicken chow mein was perfectly spicy...I will definitely be back..just for the potstickers alone. We mentioned to our server for no particular reason that we were local and he put a discount on the bill for us. Gorgeous property! We went here on a Wednesday night (right at opening). I accidentally parked at a far parking structure but luckily parking was free with local ID. This spot is located closer to Zouk night club and other spots (I cut through the casino based on my far parking spot). We did family style bites which included: Miso Cod Tacos (melt in your mouth good), Umami Salted Green Bean Fries (delicious dipping sauce and crunchy fries), Popcorn Shrimp (perfectly flavored and crunchy), Salmon sushi (super fresh), Hamachi sushi (very fresh), and Edamame Fuhummus (unique chip and dip combo but my favorite item on the menu). The spot had a chill lounge vibe and the decor complemented the menu nicely. The backbar was elegantly displayed and although there weren't as many booths or much seating, it was more of an intimate feel. Service was top notch and I feel like the quality of the food matched the service. Each item was brought out quickly and the servers explained each item thoroughly. The presentation of each item was also pretty amazing. It wasn't super busy to where anyone needed to be seated outside, but it was nice and intimate with a lot of space in between each of the tables. I can say that I was pleasantly surprised with the venue, quality of the food, and the service. Job well done from the staff. We came here to dine after the Janet injection show because this was the only one that was open a little later than the other restaurants and eateries. Atmosphere: low lighting and cool decor. Armando was our server and he was not good at all. He never checked on us and spent a lot of time at other tables. His teammates were great and accommodating. Food: I wasn't really hungry and nothing on the menu really stuck out to me. I ordered the tuna crispy rice. The tuna had a great flavor. However, the crispy rice was not good at all. It was too gooey and tasteless. The person I dined with ordered a noodle dish and I believe they enjoyed that. Overall, I did not like the dining experience due to us having an awful server and bad food. I may go back in the future and try another server and maybe a better dish. read more

Such a fun evening eatery in Resorts World, right by its nightclub Zouk and easily accessible from the outside. We liked the menu a lot, especially the sushi items. Everything we had was delicious and well-portioned for two. The salmon carpaccio and fried rice were our favorites. Prices are typical of Vegas, but the ambiance is quieter and not as flashy as you'd expect. Still, great music and great vibes. Service was efficient, polite and quick. My first visit to FUHU was about 1.5 years ago and I really enjoyed the experience. The restaurant with beautifully decorated and the menu was heavily Asian-themed from what I remembered. The food this go round wasn't what I'd expected. I was advised the menu had changed and it felt as though it lost the Asian touch it once had. I ordered a popcorn shrimp dish that was new to the menu. It was reminiscent of "bang-bang shrimp" from bonefish grill but lacked sauce. The chicken lo-mein was simple but delicious. The steak had a brown sugar glaze of some sort. I wasn't a huge fan but it was cooked at my desired temperature. I finished my meal with an Asian pear sorbet which was light and refreshing. Yellowtail (3/5) - it was more on the citrusy sour side. Definitely was not one of my faves for the night A5 Japanese Wagyu (3/5) - price point was crazy, portion was small, lacked flavor. Awful experience started off with our reservation was not being honored. We were offered a high-top table at the bar which doesn't require a reservation and had serval people standing and crowding around it. We opted to wait and after nearly 45 minutes passed, we asked the host for an update: no progress and offered us again, the same table as earlier. We had plans after dinner, which ultimately we were late to, so we took the undesired table. I was getting frequently bumped into by the drunk bar crowd behind me. If this didn't already irritate me, then it was the music from the DJ right next to me. The table was right next to the booth and he was playing music for what seemed to be the entire restaurant. Fuhu is part or wholly owned by the Zouk group or whatever and I don't mind the bumping beats, but it was so loud I had to turn one ear to my date, and cover the other with my hand... "What!?" I screamed out loud several times that night. The only good thing out of this experience was our server. Even though he wasn't around much, when he did show up, he was really polite. I kept my eye out for servers and food runners and didn't see them around much. Caught the other guests doing the same thing I was, the looks over the shoulders and around the dining area for any sign of staff. I can't even really comment on the food because, while it may have been delicious but this experience spoiled it. We got sushi and steak, but whatever. Before leaving, I stopped by the restroom and had to wait outside because this unisex restroom was full. While I stood, I took a look into the back dining rooms. Everyone looked like they were celebrating and having a great time. Made me think that tables in the front room, where I was seated, doesn't get the service and attention as the larger parties in the back. I'll never go back here, and but I will recommend it to others, if their plans are to go to Zouk afterwards. read more

The interior has intricate flower lighting and gives a high end Asian Influenced vibe. The food did not disappoint. I really wanted to like this place because it's so cute and they had a live DJ and the food presentation is on point but it completely lacks flavor. Or it is over salted. The smoked oysters were the best part and they were still sub par. It's really hard to mess up a steak and this place did it with the sauce that they pour on top of it for "presentation". Salt city. Had I known the sea bass was going to be chopped up and fried, I would not have gotten it. Hands down the worst seabass on this side of the Mississippi. Had some wonton dessert that I told the waitress no chocolate sauce and the menu fails to mention that there's chocolate in the pastry. Not only was the wrap mushy and not crispy at all like a wonton wrapper would be but unfortunately we already paid the bill before biting into the worst dessert possible. The waitress was awesome, the bartenders made the best tasting part of our meal, the cocktails. Great staff. But the food, extremely overpriced for the upsetting amount of no flavor other than salt.
