amazing food! The short rib ramen is my favorite.

Excellent service from Alex, very attentive and gave great recommendations. The Bao buns are exceptional, need to try the pork as the potatoes add so much flavor and crunch. Definitely returning just to buy a couple. read more

Went here for a date night and it didn't disappoint. I got the seasonal pork ramen and it was absolutely delicious and I will be going back to order it again before it's gone. read more

Absolutely love this place. It is my favorite restaurant. My favorite dish is the chicken teriyaki which comes with a little side of kimchi which is the best kimchi ever. I wish you could order the kimchi as a side dish. I've tried a lot of the items on the menu and everything is always spot on. The juices are delicious. All of my friends love the chicken katsu curry that's definitely a popular dish. read more

Karen was great, very helpful and nice. Her recommendation for the chicken Katsu was delicious

Wagamama is one of the more consistent fast casual restaurants going. It had been a while since my last trip, but on this visit I found the food and juices to be as great as I remembered. Rodolfo's service was top-notch, as well. read more

Great wagamama location in Boston. Staff is always friendly and prompt with their service. Shout out to Catherine @ the Pru. Will be back for more ramen! read more

Food is good but most of all, it's the service which most establishments must have. Our server Lenny, exemplified that service! Who would have noticed while I was cleaning a stain on my shirt, he immediately suggested and provided us soda water. I didn't even know soda water removes stains! Good job Lenny! Thank you! read more

Be sure to take your customer copy of the receipt or they might over charge you! Accidentally found out that my credit card was charged for $30 while I only had a Ramen on Oct 2, which cost $17 and I remember clearly I wrote total for $20.5 including tips). Called the restaurant, answered the phone, said will call back to me, but no follow up or resolution of the issue at all! read more

I would classify wagamama as bougie ramen. Not authentic or as good as Santouka on back bay, but there usually isn't a wait and portions are large. I always get the wagamama ramen with a cup of hot green tea. Pro tip: get the PRUferred card at the concierge desk before eating here to get 10% off your check. read more

Destiny was very nice with us and she help us to plan a birthday surprise with all pleasure.

The ambiance is great, good for a more formal dinner or a quick lunch between classes. The food is always high quality and you can find dishes that suit your tastes easily, even if you have dietary restrictions. Chicken Itame and Carrot juice with ginger. A bustling hip Asian fusion/Japanese restaurant in the Prudential Center. The service is fast and friendly. Large tables to shared seating like cafeteria. Itame was delicious but it was a bit bland for my taste buds. The carrot juice and ginger was surprisingly refreshing. read more

I've been a few times and have enjoyed every time I've been. The ramen comes out hot (I get the chili chicken which is spicy but not killer). Food comes out when it's ready, so we ordered appetizers that came out at the same time as one person's meal, and mine came out a few moments after. It's good comfort food at a very reasonable price. Resturant is big so I've never had to wait for a table and service is quick. read more

Not authentic Asian food - udon with chicken, as well as rice with chicken way too sweet from kids menu. Ramen was mediocre. But one thing that caught my attention was a mouse trap that was placed underneath the bench in the booth that we were sitting in. I know these are usually placed in the back of the house or hallways but not directly in the dining space where guests are eating. It made me cringe. Place also lacked customer service. When we asked for steamed dumplings, the waiter brought the dumpling that were steamed and a little bit pan fried; so we said we don't want what he brought to the table and that we ordered just steamed dumplings and waiter replied why didn't you say so....duuuuh!!! We said it loud and clear the first time - steamed dumplings! Don't think will come back here with the family! read more

What a great experience! We first stumbled across Wagamama's in the UK years ago when we were living there ... when we planned our trip to Boston, one of the first things we had to do was make a trip to Wagamama's! We were not disappointed at all. The service from Kylie S. was so refreshing, she was so lovely and kind, very attentive. We asked Kylie if we could purchase a cook book while were were there .. as we lost ours in the move back home. Kylie enrolled her manager (Adrienne) who totally went above and beyond by not only find us the last book in the restaurant but gave it to us as a gift! Totally not expected at all and so thankful. We were also offered a dessert on the house, unfortunately we were so fully form the delish food that we had just enjoyed. Another delight when we received our bill the ladies had comped our apps and drinks. Again, so thoughtful and unreal customer service!!!! Not only was the service unreal, the food just as we remembered was awesome. Can't go wrong with old favs ... Chilli Chicken Ramen and Chicken Katsu Curry. Will for sure be back to visit. Thank you again for such a wonderful experience and service! read more

Oh my freaking gosh this place is outstanding! The curry vegan noodles and veggies was out of this world. For someone who is picky about curry, I fell in love with this dish. Mildly hot was just enough to give each bite a kick. The tofu was perfect. Could not get enough. Spicy cauliflower and beef brisket were tasty (for the meat eater). Vegan perfection!!!! read more

we usually love going to Wagamama while at the Pru, but our experience was terrible today, our server was horrible, after sitting for 15 min she gets the water, we got 2 of our order and 3 rd order took forever after repeatedly asking different servers, my husband ordered a drink and even after the end of meal he didn't get the drink, we have had it with this place. server sho be responsible to check her customers and ask if we needed anything. read more

imagine the same prices as pf chang's, but even more watered down asian cuisine. my friend had the yakisoba and it was funky and i had the katsu which i needed a magnify glass to see my portion! read more

Pad thai salad was the GOAT. Never thought to do pad thai (one of my favorite dishes) as a salad. It was very tasty. It did not come with noodles. It came with shrimp and chicken for $14 which is less than I expected to pay. There was more shrimp than chicken which was awesome. Both were cooked and seasoned with plenty of flavor. All my peanuts ended up falling to the bottom of the bowl but it was still good. I ate it with chopsticks. Service is good. It's not busy so I don't feel rushed and I'm getting the attention I need. I would come back here the next time I am in town. read more

Didn't care for this place at all... I haven't ever had actual ramen before and I tried it here... and I really didn't care for it. The servings were huge and the service was pretty fast but I couldn't care less for my food. It was probably my fault ordering something I never tried before but I will not be returning! read more

Came here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch, place was packed but there wasn't a wait and the service was prompt. We ordered duck gyozas which were different than the usual and chili squid. Both were tasty! The steak bulgogi and short rib ramen were very good. I loved the broth to my ramen and the short rib was falling off the bone. This place is kind of pricey but everything is super fresh. I would return for the broth! Coconut ice cream was delicious and my carrot ginger juice was what you'd expect! Service was prompt and our server was friendly. read more

Great food and service. Our waitress Jenny was kind and very professional. Thanks Jenny!!

Quality of food was actually very good. But you'll probably pay twice as much for about half the food you envisioned yourself eating, especially on the "shareables" menu -- if you're not balling on a budget then you'll be fine though lmao read more

Popped in at 12:30 on a Saturday, didn't have to wait, then 10 minutes later a line out the door -Firecracker curry: tasty, spicy, giant cup of rice w disappointing amount of food surrounding it. Nicely flavored w a good amount of spice (waiter said 8/10 and I would agree - for a chain restaurant, quite spicy) -Had the white beer, which tasted like a Japanese wheat beer, which was nice and tasted exactly like that - a wheat beer from Japan. Server was nice and food came out SUPER quick. read more

The service and attention was phenomenal and food was great (tasty, authentic taste). Will definitely be back! Thank you, Destiny!

Overall: service was slow slow slow, orders came wrong, but the food (mostly) was yummy as always! It Wasn't my first time at wagamama, but I recently visited on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. Never had anything but good experiences at this location, too. We were a party of four, were seated immediately, and ordered our beverages within minutes of being seated. We had a general idea of what we wanted so we were ready to order. Three teriyaki donburi, one ginger chicken udon. We had a picky eater in our midst so she specified her order to be "JUST the chicken with teriyaki sauce on brown rice. Alone." Our waitress wrote her number with a star on her place mat (they write accompanying numbers on your paper place mat for everything you order) so we assumed all was good and understood. We also ordered steamed pork gyoza. Before long, a runner arrives with the three chicken teriyakis- all regular but one with brown rice. So our picky eater still received the carrots, bean sprouts and scallion garnish. Quite irritating as she'd specified pretty outwardly- literally saying chicken, rice, and sauce only- but it wasn't a huge deal since everything was on top and not mixed in. At this point we are still waiting for the udon and the gyoza. Ten minutes go by, none of us eating, waiting for our last member to get her lunch. Eventually another runner appears with the noodles. Still no dumplings. We eat, everyone is mostly satisfied with their food. I always think that their teriyaki lacks actual teriyaki sauce, and my companions agree so we all ask for extra sauce. That takes another ten minutes to come. Still no dumplings. When someone appears with the sauce, we follow up on the gyoza. They disappear and ten minutes later they finally arrive, pan fried. Again, the order was wrong. We ate them anyways since we had already eaten half of our main courses by this point. The filling of the gyoza was tough and tasted like it had a lot of ginger. The dipping sauce, which is usually sweet and tangy, tasted like straight up vinegar. So overall the long awaited dumplings came incorrect and were not the best. We also never got any refills, not including the luke warm bottle of water they leave on your table. I understand the style of the restaurant, but it gets confusing when you're missing items and don't know who to ask since so many servers have been waiting on you throughout the meal. Also gets weird for tipping because the waitress who took our orders basically did just that; took our orders and gave us our check. I do love the food at wagamama most of the time, but this experience was not up to par with my numerous other visits, and it wasn't even busy. Prices are fair for the area. I will return and hope to have a better experience to match the tastiness of the food! read more

Came in on a Tuesday around 4pm. Only two other tables had customers. We got seated at a booth, which was nice. There was one server, one host and four chefs in the open kitchen. Quiet, but expected of the time. We ordered a chicken teriyaki donburi and a pork ramen. For the price they charge, I expected pretty good quality dishes. How disappointed was I... Pro: - Portion size were good, filling - Good decor, modern mixed with traditional flair - Clean Cons: - Ramen broth was super super salty. Saltiest ramen I've had in Boston area (out of 8 places I've tried) - Kinda skimped on the veggies... felt very unsatisfied for a ramen dish. - Donburi was doused with a sweet sauce. It would've been fine if the rice wasn't swimming in it. That made it too sweet. Couldn't finish the dish. - Server decided it was more important to chat with table of off-duty workers than to serve food - 5 minutes between serving ramen and donburi. Saw the donburi sitting on kitchen counter but server was too busy to notice, see above. IIRC, this was most expensive ramen I've had to date in Boston. Quality is only one step better than food court ramen (Hmart Sapporo) and service is lacking to say the least. read more

We had one of the worst experiences at a restaurant here due to poor customer service. We had a baby with us and was seated at one of the long table. We had ordered and were waiting for our food, when a server came by and said another customer complained how that our baby was bothering her. Our baby was just being a baby --babbling, and playing with the chopsticks. Instead of moving the complaining customer elsewhere for her comfort. The server moved us as a family. We were just a customers as that person. We paid for our meals and walked away. We didn't bother to eat the food. Come to think of it. We should not have paid for such a HORRENDOUS experience and shame to that server. Never again Wagamama. read more

Yummy healthy meals in a deep fried world. We were headed to a show at Symphony Hall on a Monday night and our birthday girl chose to try Wagamama. I had the blackened chicken with brown rice and steamed broccoli. Steamed! Not buttered or sauteed. Amazing! :) The chicken was so spicy my eyebrows started to sweat, but it was still tender and good. I do think it's weird that they bring out the dishes as they're ready and not as a table, but at least you know it's fresh. Oh, and the price was right. I believe it was about $55 for four adults to have four entrees and two beers. read more
