A group of us had dinner at Wagamama at the Prudential Center recently. A wide range of dishes were had and enjoyed. I really liked the sound of the Miso Cod Soba, so I ordered that. The fresh ginger and green tea soba noodles were good, but the cod was terribly over cooked. If the fish was cooked correctly, it would've been great. Since it wasn't, it was just okay. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their ramen, bao, and curries. Service was really good, so giving Wagamama a 4 star review overall.

This Wagamama is next to Sak's Fifth Avenue and is across from CAVA and Anna's Taqueria. It's pretty spacious and there was only one other table when we came on a weekday night. It's the only real asian fusion in Prudential so my wife and I decided to eat here and we were pleasantly surprised! I wasn't expecting too much since it's a chain, but the food and service was pretty good. It's got a cool modern vibe and there's umbrellas for decorations on one of the walls. We got the chicken firecracker curry and miso cod soba. The chicken curry was prety spicy and delicious, but it wouldn't really consider it a curry as there wasn't that much sauce, the spice was from a powder. The cod was delicious and it was very soft and tender, it almost seemed like sea bass! It came with green tea noodles, but we couldn't taste the green tea. Our server was nice, my wife wanted soup with the soba noodles and he provided some on the side for free.

Wow, full circle moment coming back here to this specific location to eat a bowl of ramen after almost 7 years (last time was November 2018). It's funny how other things change but some things stay the same. My friend and I tried ordering the edamame but they had run out. We ended up getting the korean fried chicken bao but it showed up 1/2 way into our meal. The baos were decent. Same with our waters, we had to beg for them. But the star of the show - the ramen - was spectacular. I really enjoyed my slightly spicy tantanmen beef brisket ramen. The broth was insane, as was the broth of my friend's grilled duck ramen (her usual order).

The place has changed! They completely renovated the restaurant in the Prudential location and I'm happy to say that it looks really nice including the restrooms which were badly needed! The food was constantly good in terms of one of my favorites, the Katsu chicken curry. I also love the Korean chicken wings, which I never had before but I'm telling you this is a must if you haven't tried it and you like Korean spice flavors. The food seems to be the same with a few adjustments. They added Korean slider which was OK. The "Positive" juice is always my favorite from the juice menu. I was really happy to meet John the manager who was very welcoming. Service was excellent this time around.

The food overall was decent. The duck ramen was good since the duck itself was savory and juicy. The chicken katsu however was dry and very thin since it's not from the pork loin and most likely pounded. Potstickers were just okay but should be more crispy. The mandarin salad was tasty. Service was kinda slow since even at 3pm it was busy due to the Anime Boston just ending that day.

Good: -Chicken Katsu- cut in to small portions with a bowl of rice with curry on top, salad on the side. 10/10 -Getting food was quick Bad: -Service was incredibly slow, waited for my check for 15 minutes had to get someone's attention that I'm ready to check out even though it wasn't busy. Everybody was standing around talking to each other. -staff was cordial but not very friendly. -tipping started at 18%. I did not believe the server deserve any tip but I paid 15% anyway because I'm hopeful they split it with kitchen who basically carried the team by cooking up the delicious meal. I absolutely do not recommend eating in. I do recommend carrying out though if you want to try the food.

Ordered Wagamama on Uber Eats after a long travel day and didn't have the best experience in part due to Uber Eats and to Wagamama itself. I've had their ramen before and never thought it was the tastiest, but I didn't have anything bad to say about it either - there are definitely better ramen spots in the city. However, this time, we weren't provided any broth for our ramen and only had the noodles itself which were dry and chewy. Taste profile was lacking as well. Was a disappointing experience after a long day.

Casual sit-down Asian food, communal tables with bench seating. Service was quick- food came out in no time at all. Food was fine, large portions. The miso cod soba was a bit light in flavor. The Korean fried chicken bao was very good- sticky sweet sauce and crispy batter, in a fluffy bun.

The food. The set up; a mixture between the menu selection & certain presentations. A fun place to eat in a mall, not typical of usual mall food or major chains. It was just a well-rounded dining experience. And family friendly. Would definitely return

After all of these years, I still enjoy some wagamama! Is it the most authentic ... no. Is it reliable ... yes. There's something nice and comforting about getting exactly what you're expecting every single time. If I had to pick a favorite dish, it would have to be the Katsu Chicken. It always hits the spot and is sooooo yummy. I also enjoy the sake flight and the amazing variety of fresh juices. The juices really amplify this place and set it apart from just being average. This place is great for a nice, chill bite to eat after some shopping!

I visited Wagamama in Prudential on recommendation from a friend on a work outing for a conference. The restaurant wasn't very busy for a Thursday evening. We were able to be seated immediately. The server was friendly enough. I didn't get the vibe that anyone that worked there was particularly bubbly and friendly but our server was ok. The food was also just ok. I ordered chicken ramen and a Korean BBQ bun. I enjoyed the ramen, but was not a fan of the sauce on the Korean BBQ bun at all, which was interesting because I ordered it on recommendation from our server. Overall, it was just ok. There's so many places to eat in the area and this just didn't wow me.

They have an open kitchen so I can tell that there are only 4 people back there on a Friday night and two of them are leaning and chatting for the past twenty minutes. It took 15 min for one of my apps to come out-the gyoza. It tasted microwaved. It was another 5 min after that that the drink I ordered right as I sat came. Not a cocktail. Just a canned drink. As I write this it's been 30 min since I sat and my other app (the pressed ahi ) still isn't here. I had also requested a side of firecracker sauce that did not come. 40 min in: pressed ahi came but not the sauce. Upon reminding it came. I should clarify they are maybe 20% full at 8 pm on a Friday. Waga at fanuiel is actually a favorite of mine for lunch since I work in the area. Theirs is so genuinely good. Getting the pressed ahi gyoza and ramen here it feels like someone skimped and was high and microwaved it. Take the 10 min trip to the other location if you want this food-this location isn't worth it. Service is abysmal and so is the quality.

Staff was very knowledgeable about each entree, and provided information about how entrees were cooked and served. They also had a "halvsies" menu of half-size portions (ideal portions for one or two diners). Started with the Mama Chang Pork Dumplings, which were excellent, and the cauliflower appetizer (a little spicy, but very good). Liked the udon noodles with chicken and bok choy, although a little less red chili pepper would have suited my tastes better (good for those who like a bit of zing to their food). The lettuce wrap chicken was well worth the 20-minute wait. Finished with the lemon ginger mousse, which was very light. The fortune cookie on the mousse was fresh and crisp, so good that some thought it might have been baked at Joanne Chang's Flour Cafe and Bakery. The finish was extra nice, with a red lucky envelope with chocolates accompanying the check, an orange at each table (signs for good fortune in the New Year), and red decorations hanging in the restaurant to create a festive setting. Good choice for the start of the New Lunar Year of the Fire Horse!

The interior is very cool, cozy, and the cool red paint design on the glass windows makes it all feel very charming and comfortable. We ordered a bunch of appetizers to share between the 4 of us - scallion pancake, bourbon chicken wings, spicy salmon rolls, pork belly buns, sliced beef, eggplant, hot n sour soup, golden potato and lemongrass soup. I think my favorite of those was the eggplant dish - perfectly cooked and flavorful with ginger and soy. Wings were good too. The soups were nice I liked the hot n sour one. The lemongrass soup was a creamy one quite tasty but also quite filling and rich. For entrees, we ordered the roasted soy glazed salmon, the Indonesian fried rice, bok choy and surf and turf noodles. Everything was good. We were all so full and also had leftovers. But decided to order dessert too - everyone loved the vanilla bean ice cream (the menu described it as a parfait) with orange granita - really generous too - 3 scoops of ice cream and the orange sorbet which was more granular than a sorbet more like very finely crushed ice. Very refreshing! The banana caramel crème brûlée was really good too - nice and creamy. The lemon ginger mousse was very creamy but I thought had a bit too much of ginger. I think the deserts were hands down everyone's favorite part of the meal despite everyone pretty much denying they wanted any! Service was very friendly by our server Julie who was delightful! Lovely young lady. Overall great experience!!

When we walked into Legal, the place was dead, the music was awful, and the vibe was just not there. So we sat at the bar and grabbed a drink while searching for a place to get an actual dinner where we could find last-minute reservations. Shojo in Chinatown came up with great reviews and after looking at the menu and seeing that we could get a reservation, we headed over. It was a short walk from the Ritz and Chinatown is just such a fun place with great energy. When we walked in, we knew we had made the right call and were easily able to switch our reservation from a table to bar seats, which is always an added bonus. The place is low lit and the music is on the louder side, but nothing was excessive to the point that we didn't enjoy our time there. We ordered a variety of drinks while there - a Toki Highball draft, a spicy tequila drink with lemongrass, a few different types of Japanese whiskeys as well (they have a really extensive list). As far as food goes, they categorize their menu into Snacks, Baos, and Rice, Noodles, and Dumplings. There's a lot of vegetarian friendly options, which is always a plus for me. My highlights were the 7 vegetable stir fry, fried eggplant bao, edamame dumplings, and the Thai veggie spring rolls. The salt and pepper calamari was also really great. Everything was terrific and really unique. Service was good - not great, but they took notice of empty glasses and were quick to bring out food, so I have absolutely no complaints. Shojo is somewhere I'd absolutely return to when staying in the area, I'm really happy we all turned what would have been a very touristy, depressing experience into something with a WAY better vibe and time!

My DCs were running late, so I gave our waiter a head's up. He never made me feel bad for taking up the space. And it helped that there was never a queue waiting to be seated that Sunday night. We each ordered our own meal while sharing bites. While there are a few entrees at Cloud Asian Fusion that include both protein and vegetable, such as the Braised White Fish $22 (assorted mushrooms, fried tofu) one DC ordered, mine (Siam Crab Curry $22 - lump crab, spicy red curry, basil, bean sprouts, Thai Chili, thin rice noodles) and my other DC's (Mapo Katsu $16 (chicken katsu, mapo sauce, short grain white rice, furikake) came without (I don't count the small stash of raw bean sprouts on my plate), so I added the blistered green beans $16. Our server was pleasant and told me that they could make anything less mild. Even so, the slow burn from the milder Siam Crab Curry was a bit more than I would have liked. He checked up on me and offered to have the chef prepare a fresh batch with a milder curry powder instead, so I could better enjoy my meal. The original orange yellow of my crab curry bowl was turned a green yellow in its replacement. But it was still tasty, and still generous with lump crab meat. This was a good pick! The green bean vegetable dish was quite good too. I was happy with my meal. I sampled the other two dishes and found the regular mapo sauce recipe too spicy for my taste. The fish dish was tasty, but we found nothing especially fusion about it. 3 stars all around experience, but 4 stars for my own meal.

This place is popping! Even though it was later in the evening, the restaurant was still really full. However we didn't have to wait too long to get seated. I loved the decor in here, such neat details and even a column with a dragon on it! So cool. It's a dark restaurant so it was hard to read the menu, but otherwise, it's a very cool vibe here and feels very lounge-y. Our server was awesome, he was friendly and explained the restaurant style to us - it's like tapas, you order a few items to share and recommended 2 - 3 items per person would be sufficient. It was only 2 of us and we shared 3 items total, and that was more than enough. We apparently arrived so late that our server informed us that we only had a short time before the kitchen was closing for the night. But he said that he would return before the kitchen closed in case we wanted to order additional menu items. We were intrigued by the Japanese/Peruvian fusion menu and tried a few things: Kuromitsu Brussel Sprouts Spicy Salmon Fritas Bo Bo Chicken I was most excited about the Bo Bo Chicken a it had a sichuan chili oil and I love spicy, but it was not spicy at all (to me). But the flavor was really good. My favorite was the Brussels sprouts. I loved the char on them and the ginger black honey on it was so good. I don't eat salmon, but my friend said the Salmon Fritas was great and really enjoyed them. I would say this was the best meal we had on our trip!

There was a great singer, pianist, and sax player to really set the mood. They were super fun, especially when a couple got engaged! To start, I got their ginger martini and while my friend went with a Do-er neat (not a whiskey drinker myself, lol). He tried to order 2 of their beers but they were out of both. My drink came after 15 mins and then we had to remind the waiter about his whiskey. That took another 10. We started with the chicken bao buns and the samosas. Both spectacular! My only complaint is the little size for the samosa size. For our mains we got the short rib and the white butter chicken. The butter chicken could've used a bit more chicken for the price and was frankly a bit tough. The sauce was great. The short rib was flavorful and packed the perfect punch. Dipping the garlic naan in both sauces was my fav part!! Overall an ok experience. I want to give the restaurant grace because it was very packed but service was poor. I think we had 4 different staff members help us total which probably led to lots of miscommunication.
