This place is fun--if you want a breakfast or lunch (brunch) that has a lot of fun twists and flavors, this is your place! When we visited, it was pretty busy and you had to wait for a table. The side of potatoes was phenomenal, the bacon in the omelet and waffle.... well everything tasted fresh and great!! As expected it was crowded and we were originally seated at a small table right behind the hostess, next to the pop machine and coffee, it was complete chaos. I've never asked to be moved in a restaurant before but it was super uncomfortable sitting there, so we were able to move tables. I felt a lot better when the next couple that was seated there... also moved tables after 10 minutes! So the food is great, servers are super friendly and good, the turn tables over very fast and efficient, I will just go at a less busy time of day next time. read more

OMG.. my business associate friend and I were traveling in the area for work and were looking for a lunch stop the choices presented were all good but the name of this place gave us both a good vibe so we decided to give it a go. Wow were we impressed by the food choices. I was torn between a BLT and a waffle.. I was leaning toward the mega berry and when I asked my waitress for her opinion she creatively said both are amazing so I'll surprise you. Well I'm sure I would have been happy with either but her choice of the mega berry waffle hit the spot. Luscious fresh berries, mounds of whipped cream. Wow and Yum! My friend chose a healthier route with an omelette which was oversized and packed full of goodness. The only thing stopping me from a 5 review was a nod to cleanliness. I had to go to the bathroom and the door to the kitchen was absolutely filthy. It looked someone had thrown food up against it. Note to staff.. clean the doors. Every area of the restaurant seen by guests is a nod to your environment. Had I see that prior to my meal I would have been disappointed. I didn't realize they had multiple locations in the Pittsburgh area so it will give me a chance to try them out again sooner than later as I travel here frequently for work. I ordered the chicken and waffles and my boyfriend ordered the waffles with an egg, cheddar, bacon and green onions. He also got a cappuccino. Our food was pretty good, both were very eye-appealing and tasty. The waitress, however, didn't bring us syrup. We weren't sure if the dishes were supposed to be eaten without syrup, but they were a bit dry without it. When we asked for syrup, however, the waitress presented us with three different options of syrup, which was pretty cool. This location in Beaver is the original location of the four current locations (Wexford, Southside, Downtown Pittsburgh). And I'm thrilled it is still here and with long-time staff that really know their stuff. They offer a different waffle special every month or you can always customize your own waffle with either their large list of mix-ins (mixed with the waffle batter) or toppings. They serve the waffles with 3 syrup choices (maple, vanilla, bourbon). I love their tri-colored potato home fries and healthy greens 'salad' as sides. Not interested in waffles? The menu includes egg dishes/omelette/sandwich. This location also offers local brewed beer on tap! It's my go-to brunch local breakfast/brunch spot. It's also popular with the local colleges' students. This place gets busy on Saturday and Sunday but their do use Yelp Waitlist so you can get in line virtually and see the current estimated wait time. read more

First things first: this place is pretty small and pretty popular. The area between front door and the seating area is small. Best bet is to use the No Wait app to get your place in line before you even arrive. Trust me, you will thank me for this, especially on cold days. This was my first time here and the menu is pretty interesting. Obviously, their main attraction is waffles, but they have many other breakfast sandwiches and and omelette options as well. I actually went with the Carnivour Omelette with home fries. It comes with a single fried egg on top of the three egg omelette. Interesting and tasty. My wife had the Chicken and Waffles and really enjoyed it. The waffle was very fluffy and they have a variety of syrups. They also can provide you several different flavored syrups for coffee, which is pretty awesome. Looking forward to going back and trying more of the different waffle options they have. read more

My sever brought out the badly needed coffee in seconds and my order was at my table within 5 min. My server, John H. Was friendly and stopped at all appropriate times to ask me if I needed more coffee and brought out check and let me drink my third cup of coffee in peace. My brother treated me to a delicious breakfast at Waffles INcaffeinated yesterday morning before my long drive home. We were welcomed into the restaurant by the morning's host, John, who was also our waiter. He was so attentive, enthusiastic and pleasant which truly enhanced our experience. My brother and I decided to share the Benny and an order of hash browns. It was the perfect amount to start the day. (I just wanted a light breakfast before my road trip but next time we'll do full portions:) --I asked John if they could split that in the kitchen for us and he said "no problem". The food was so delicious and the presentation impressive. I asked for milk for my coffee instead of cream and, again, no problem, as well as the proudly roasted bottomless cup; and those home fries! A medley of pretty petit potatoes; yum! --John also sent me on the road with a nice to-go cup of iced tea with lemon & lots of ice, exactly the way I like it. What a great guy! Very refreshing because it is so different. We sat outside because it was such a beautiful day. The street noise was a bit high but it was too nice of a day. Never saw the inside. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. Our food was very good. Their menu is different from anything else. The food was very good an the portions were nice. We ordered the Benny Waffle and Breakfast Magic. They were $10-$11 each. They were both a flavor explosion in your mouth. I would definitely go back although not repetitively. read more

Well, the number one thing that went well the server his name ..."Travis". Travis suggested items, came by my table a few times to make sure that things were OK and I got a coffee to go. I am visiting from California, so I am always unsure of how I will be treated in Beaver Pennsylvania. I have visited a few times because my daughter attends the University of Pittsburgh. I have never encountered an unfriendly person! Travis has is loaded with tattoos, but he is also loaded with the biggest smile and great customer service. The food was excellent by the way! I have the chicken and waffles. The only thing missing...because I was born in the south... barbecue sauce! Travis even apologize for not having barbecue sauce available but maybe one day they will, it is a great place to visit. It sits right on a storybook Boulevard in the beautiful town on Beaver, PA. Food is very good, as is coffee. Service is slow, and there's always a line at popular times. The service logistics seem to be set up to be slow, but the slowness is in the systems they have set up (ever hear of dedicated table bussers?) and not the wait staff, they're always friendly and hardworking. The new online wait system (don't use Yelp!) is problematic because you don't know when to get in line since you can't see what the estimated wait is. So you end up putting it in too early. I'm not sure what happens then. And if you put it in too late what's the point. Please fix this, waffles. read more

This was our first time here -but will definitely not be our last! I had heard about this place for quite some time. We were seated as soon as we arrived. My husband had the veggie omelet and said it was one of the best ever. I had the megaberry waffle - soooo good (took half home). The home fries were wonderful-not greasy with quarter pieces of multicolored small potatoes-including sweet potatoes! Not gonna lie, this is my favorite spot for breakfast in Beaver County. Some day I will have gone enough to stray from my usual order of Breakfast Magic. I am one of those weird people who enjoys the savory flavors of the cheddar cheese, bacon, and chives with the sweetness of the waffle batter. I get a dippy egg to use as a sauce until the egg is gone. Then, I use the bourbon maple syrup to finish the waffle. Best of both worlds: savory and sweet! This place is delicious!!!! I'm not from Pittsburgh but friends took me here. They said this is the 1st location, the 2nd location was a little further but newer and in a busier part of PGH. We went on Sun around 9:30...assuming we would have to wait since this is peak breakfast time. We had to only wait for 10 mins for 2 couples and 3 kids. This was a huge plus! A short wait for hungry kids, winning! My husband wanted to try something sweet and I wanted to try something savory. Good thing we shared because the sweet was really sweet and the savory waffles helped cut it down. I got the double waffles with sausage gravy. This was delicious! I might also say that it competed with my own sausage gravy! I double portion was 1 Belgium waffle, so 4 triangles. My husband got the Sacre bleu berry waffles. This was sweet but good! I suggest a side of their sausage to cut the sweetness down a bit but everything worked so well together!! The blueberries, the peach mascarpone in the middle, the cinnamon cream! My only suggestion for this place is BIGGER coffee cups! We didn't have to wait too long for a refill but the cups are slightly bigger than espresso cups. For parents who are trying to hoover down their breakfast while their kids are in a good mood, waiting for more coffee is like playing Russian Roulette. Start by using the online reservation form, if you have some wait time, there is a bunch of cute shops and things to check out on the main street of Beaver! Friendly staff and good service! We tried the vanilla and caramel lattes (hot) and they both were fabulous! The waitress said she loves the toasted marshmallow so will check that one out next time. For savory, we did The Benny and the Country Benedict... they were both really good but The Benny will be a staple we always order... the crab was amazing and the hollandaise sauce was the perfect flavor to bring it all together! This is the hipster breakfast place, and I love it. The location is right where it should be in downtown Beaver and a good alternative to HDS diner food. Use the Yelp reservation, it will help you not have to wait at the restaurant and enjoy the cute shops of Beaver. The food is good. I will be honest, I don't like waffles, pancakes, or crepes. This restaurant didn't change my mind on this. I did enjoy their omelette and . My mother enjoyed her waffle. The only downside is our server wasn't great. Our food arrived about 45 minutes before closing time: their almost famous Chicken & Waffles and, for my dad, an equally good Souther' Waffle, filled with chorizo & fresh jalapeños, topped with poco de gallo...delicious! Unfortunately, also arriving was another waitress charged with disassembling 3 other tables and stacking sidewalk chairs...quite annoying! I mentioned this to the waitress and, to her credit, she stopped. But, I've eaten here many times before, often near or at closing time, and they do the same thing inside. Frankly, it just makes a customer feel unwelcome & rushed, plus the commotion dampens what would otherwise be a great experience in this pleasant environment. Mimosas are tasty. Otherwise this place is over rated. I got a waffle and no butter. When I asked for butter their response was 'we don't have any'...how does a waffle place not have butter?? Figured I would go back a second time for whatever reason. Asked for crepes. Told they don't have crepes. Crepes are made with flour, eggs, butter, and milk. I wanted to like Waffles Inc. more than I did. It was thoroughly OK. The food was pretty good...everything else...meh. Our server was either stretched too thin, or was just inattentive. We waited for what seemed like a long time before he came to take our drink order. When we finally got our coffees I was shocked at how teeny tiny the cups were! We would need refills every five minutes with cups that size. They should leave a carafe of coffee on the table to avoid constant refilling. I ordered The BC breakfast which is a pretty good value for the amount of food you get. It comes with eggs, toast, meat, and two non-meat sides. I ordered egg whites and was surprised that there was a $1.25 upcharge on my bill...it wasn't indicated anywhere on the menu. I also tried the roasted tomatoes which were recommended.
