When we got the food, we had waffle fries instead of cole slaw, but they did refund us for the sides! My gyro tasted good, but the gyro meat was overcooked and tough. He had no complaints about the wrap. However, we both got sick this morning from what we ate and feel bloated and bogged down. The inside has been nicely refurbished and those trapezoidal windows are gone. They have an extensive menu, all the basics plus some dishes you might not see in your typical Mexican place. I've been there 4-5 times and the food is delicious. The food came out quickly and is hot. Note: If you've never had a shrimp quesadilla - treat yourself! Service is very good. In many restaurants, the waiter will bring the food and stop back a minute or two later then disappear. No so in this place. The waiter always checks back 3 or 4 times to see if we need anything. Huapanguero's is my absolute favorite place for Mexican food.
