Genuinely one of those places where you are upset you didn't find it earlier!! Stopped in after seeing a TikTok about it and I can say I will be back. We tried a variety of items off the menu -- bacon egg & cheese croissants, quiche lorraine, a cheese danish, and caramel apple danish. ALL ITEMS WERE SO GOOD AND FRESH. I do not think that I have ever had a better croissant in my entire life and will be looking thinking about it until I go back again! For coffee, we tried 3 of the season lattes: banana cream pie, my boy blue (blueberry maple pancake), and cherry cordial (minus the chocolate drizzle). The lattes were good but were a little too sweet on top of everything else we got. Will definitely try another latte the next time we're in. The staff was very nice and the space was cute and clean. It is however a smaller space for sit down dining, so we took advantage of one of the open tables outside. Just something to take into consideration when going! read more

We just got off the interstate before the toll road and found this precious cafe. Husband raved about the turkey and Brie croissant which he said is amazing and delicious. I ordered the ham and cheese croissant which was outstanding. My mocha was satisfying on a cold November day. If I lived here, I would come here every week. I am not sure why Yelp lists La Petite Bakery & Cafe as "closed." This small business is family-owned and specializes in making French patisseries (e.g., croissants and danishes), pies, and quiches. The employees make these baked goods from scratch from quality local ingredients. I purchased two types of baked goods: the Cherry Cheese Danish and the Butter Croissant. We were running errands on a cold day and finally had time to stop in and this will definitely not be our last time! The owners are super friendly and could answer any questions we had about the menu. We sat down to enjoy our order at a small table and were blown away from the moment we opened everything up. The Apple Pie was warm and delicious with a crust that was complex but not over done. The apples were still firm and held their shape with the right amount of seasoning and spices. We highly recommend the pie and the Caramel Apple Danish as well. The chocolate croissant really set the experience apart though. The flaky layers with buttery goodness were perfectly wrapped around a strong chocolate center without being too bitter. Each bite was a moment to savor. I'm a sucker for bakeries, and I finally got to try this one today. I decided to just get one thing, to decide whether it's worth coming back, and I'm glad to say it is! I had the pepperoni croissant, and the crisped cheese alone is worth the price haha. Very yummy. I could've used a bit more pepperoni but maybe that's just personal preference. This is the sweetest little lunch place. The sandwiches, lattes and danish are the best. They are pretty quick in serving you - and everything is so fresh - they make it when you get there and not before. The shop is small but a few tables allow you to eat right there and also small gift choices for purchase. I bought my daughter a nice cutting board there! Stop in and try them - you won't be sorry. This is a really nice privately owned Bakery just off the beaten path if your passing through Chippewa. The inside has a few tables and the decorations are a nice touch for this already cute little cafe. The Lady who owns the place was working when we visited and she greeted us with a warm smile and bright attitude despite being close to close. The food was surprisingly delicious and clearly handmade. They have a variety of sandwich's (all served on Croissants) and a list of specialty lattes including but not limited to a White Chocolate Lavender Latte (which was smooth, bursting with flavor, and refreshing). I will start with the food! Amazing! The sandwiches tasty and the quality is great! I have eaten and several French bakeries and this one is by far the best. The servings are generous and the menu fantastic. On another note...They catered a very important luncheon for me and they did a superb job. They are kind and friendly. Always a good experience here ! The dough is super puffy and flakey, although I would argue not as "sweet" as you might be used to. The fillings and powdered sugar on top seem to fill that role. The chocolate and pumpkin pastries are my favorite so far. Lattes are great. They don't have any seating right now, but might add some in the future since there is a little bit of space- not sure. read more

We stopped for the first time today for lattes,a plain croissant and a blueberry muffin - all excellent. We also purchased a quiche Lorraine for dinner which was quite delicious. We owned a French bakery for 42 years so we know what to expect. We will definitely return. read more
