    Pastry is good quality

Guess review not so good based on bad service? I had caramel macchiato and it was fine and pastry is definitely above average. Nice seating in and outside.

The breakfast burrito was so good. Didn't love the iced latte I got, I thought it had a weird aftertaste but I will probably try it again in case it was just a fluke. There's lots of seating and service was pretty quick and friendly.

Good baked goods and breakfast option, especially in good weather when you can sit on their nice patio! Regular things I've tried over here include croissants (good but not great), cheese cake (very nice), breakfast options like florentine eggs benedict, 2-egg breakfast, etc. They come with potatoes and fruit cups, which are both pretty decent. I like that the potatoes are done just right, which seems to be a running issue across some other chains. The only thing I don't care for are the turkey sausages, which are really basic frozen kind. I wish they had an upgraded chicken apple sausage! They have self-serve regular and decaf coffee, which tastes just fine. No issues with service ever. Usually fairly quick. It can get a bit busy on weekends! If you sit near that really heavy entrance door, you may just end up on door duty :-) Bartram House is my regular brunch circuit!

Stopped by after a nearby appt and was delighted to see even though it was 9am we were able to get lunch items. We got a few treats, a Cuban, steak sandwich, and an almond milk chai! The staff were efficient and friendly and the overall vibes so cool and relaxing. The to-go boxes traveled well and the sandwiches came with chips and the Cuban, a pickle! Absolutely will stop again!

My first experience at Bartram was really nice! I was by myself and needed to waste some time. I loved the inside and decor...seems so upscale! I looked at all of the pastries, and they looked delicious, but I needed to eat some lunch instead of sweets, so I ordered the California Chicken Club. I loved all the flavors of the sandwich, and the salty chips went great with it. My only odd comment is that the ratio of the sandwich was a little off... there was too much chicken! I would love to go again sometime soon and try more food and some sweets

An occasional trip here usually never disappoints; however, I was disappointed to find out they aren't currently selling any of their bars, including my favorite - the s'more's bar. They're currently redoing their bars, and they'll be back on the menu soon. So, the baked goods were limited unfortunately. Nevertheless, same great, friendly service, as always! My tiramisu was okay. It lacked the espresso flavor, which is the whole reason why I get this treat. The tart was baked to perfection, but I didn't get a tiramisu taste. My wife enjoyed the chocolate chip cookie. Now the Mediterranean salmon salad was fantastic! It was huge and loaded with fresh ingredients. Banana peppers, onion, feta, artichoke, olives, and perfectly cooked salmon. The picture does not do justice - this salad was big and delicious! Hopefully next time they'll have a bigger baked goods selection.

I stopped by here a couple of Sundays ago with my wife and our twins for our morning coffee. Every Sunday morning, we try to hit up a new local coffee shop, and on this morning we decided to go to Bertram House Bakery in Cranberry. This coffee shop is located in a strip mall off of 228 near where the Penguins arena is. The space itself is quite large inside, with plenty of pastries on display and seating throughout the rest. After looking over the pastries, I decided to go with a Danish, while my wife chose a bear claw and my kids each got a macaron. For my coffee, I went with a caramel macchiato since my latte from the Wexford location had tasted just like milk. My wife went with the same, only iced. Thankfully, my coffee was better here. While it was dominated by the caramel flavor, I did get some coffee in the background. My Danish ended up being fantastic, with all the puff pastry and the cream on top. My wife also enjoyed her bear claw and liked the flakiness of it, as I had at the Wexford location. The bottom line for me is that I would head back again in the future. While I wouldn't head back for just the coffee, their pastries are good and reasonably priced as well.

Cannoli, red velvet cupcake, vanilla cupcake, chocolate chip cookies.

On short business trip in the area and didn't want mediocre chain Panera or blah grocery store options for a few sweets. Bartram Bakery was the perfect pick. Contemporary, metropolitan, clean vibe. Loved seating options-not a sea of laptops. Offerings are skillfully & beautifully presented (and clearly marked with description/pricing). Nice selection with a shockingly reasonable price point. House-made Cannoli had fresh crunch, not soggy; highly recommend. Cupcakes were fresh-not dry, great icing to cake ratio, (and pretty). Chocolate Chip cookies also tasted house-made with good texture. The best ending was the personnel. Manager Ed was a star! Welcoming, personable, genuine. Wasn't anything I didn't adore about this visit. Just regret I didn't try more. Everything here would make a great gift...boxes are GORGEOUS!

    Avacado Toast. Absolutely Yummy

We went for brunch. This place is adorable. Pastries filled the case. We purchased many and brought them home. All yummy. Fresh coffee made for a really relaxing meal. I tried the Avacado toast with poached eggs. It was crispy and fresh avocado and the eggs were cooked perfectly. It has a chill vibe and is a really great place. I wish it was closer to home. Love it here.

Food was fresh and tasted great. The desserts were even better. Great place for a sandwich or breakfast.

As with other First Watch locations, the wait time on the initial screen is short AND wrong - keep going and eventually you'll see the real wait time! Sometimes you don't see the correct duration till you get on the wait list. The Elevated Egg Sandwich is always divine! Healthier options taste great. Food is normally pretty good. However, last time my friend got basted eggs that were really runny (barely cooked) that was not right. It's such a busy location that they often don't come and ask right away if there are any issues. So something for them to work on there. It's mostly indoor seating and they have a community table to grab if you're not on the wait list. A couple of seats outside but not really all that attractive in facing the parking lot.

Years ago, when it was Freedom Square Diner, it was always a cute spot, but didn't feel special. We were all in the mood for something different today. My son ordered the full breakfast spread with eggs, sausage, pancakes, and all the extras and immediately declared it a "10 out of 10 breakfast." I have a feeling his enthusiasm alone is going to have us coming back week after week.My husband had Johnny's chicken sandwich and said it was one of the best sandwiches he's ever had. I ordered a chicken salad, which sounds pretty boring, but it was good. They make the chicken fresh and it was topped with crispy shoestring fries that were absolutely perfect. Our server, Amy, was wonderful. Even though she was busy, she took time to talk with us about the menu and share some of her favorites. When we mentioned it was our first visit, she smiled and said the owner was working and would probably come say hello. Sure enough, he did. You could immediately tell this is someone who truly cares about his business. He had that sparkle in his eye while talking about the food, the ingredients, and the restaurant itself. You don't fake that kind of passion. It was obvious he is fully invested in every detail of the place. I know the restaurant business is hard, especially with so many chain options everywhere. Experiences like this remind me why supporting local businesses matters. Hearing that Bennies also supports other local businesses through the ingredients they source (including carrying my favorite local coffee beans!) just reinforced that even more. So glad we gave Bennies9 a try today. We'll absolutely be back again and again.
