Decided to have breakfast out on a Saturday morning. Figured everywhere would be busy. Arrived here and to our surprise, they were at busy at all. Prices are a little overboard. $7.99 for two tacos and wanted to add beans and rice $2.99 (which was a small amount. I MEAN SMALL) The flavor was good! Tacos may be my favorite! Chicken and waffle plate came with a GREAT amount of chicken, and a half of waffle. However you can taste the chicken is fried in the same oil as the fish. So if you have allergies to seafood I'd definitely be cautions. Unfortunately nothing was hot on arrival, but our server was nice enough to take the items back and serve us fresh food. It was our first time here last Friday, and we were trying to celebrate a birthday that was the day before. We saw a promotion that said 50% off for Birthdays on the menu but it was a bummer since they wouldn't let us get it since it had to be the day of the birthday. Next, we were choosing what to order and after getting some clarification from our patient waitress, we decided to get the whole Belgian waffle as one of them. We noticed that they were out on a lot of the toppings shown on the photo in the menu (no strawberries, no blueberries) but we were able to get by with choosing a blueberry syrup. The service was fast, our waitress always checked up on us and gave us anything we needed, and the food ended up being very delicious. Loved the waffles and the pancakes! The hashbrowns were delicious too. Nothing like eating breakfast for an early dinner. However, we also heard the table behind us being told that they were out of pizza as well! We waited 30 minutes till finally they called the managers attention. He had the nerve to ask us to give him a few minutes and he'd return to us. Been here twice. The waitress was nice and attentive. The food isn't the best tasting but not horrible. I ordered lemon pepper chicken I did like how crunchy the wings were but it did lack flavor. We also ordered pizza nothing to rave about and the nachos. The nachos I wasn't a fan of it was mostly chips with a little bit of beans and cheese on top. Overall experience wasn't bad. And she asks "can I get you anything else?" Yes there are 4 of us, my daughter didn't get her plate. She didn't bring our condiments, no napkins, no silverware. An HOUR later my daughter got her burrito. And it was made with hash browns when my daughter asked for no hash browns. So we had to wait another 20. This restaurant WAS good but the last few times we have gone there the wait staff has been somewhere else. When my husband and I gave our order to the Waitress she got it wrong over 4 times. I ordered a TUNA SANDWICH no toast. She read it back to me and on the 4th time got it right. When I got my sandwich the TUNA looked strange. Some of the TUNA looked like it was taken off of a FISH SANDWICH that was deep fried. I took a few bites and couldn't eat anymore. I thought they would take it off the bill but they didn't. I really try to like this place, but until management gets thier act together it's hard. Today for example, I had a little time to kill so I sat in the bar for a snack. I ordered chips and salsa (for $6!) and then waited 15 minutes. I was soon ready to order another Chardonnay, but the server had disappeared into the kitchen. I could hear her laughing and chatting with her coworkers but she never came back. Eventually, another bar patron got the attention of someone in the kitchen and she reappeared. After a while she acknowledged me, took my order for another Chardonnay and then stood chatting with another employee with the bottle in her hand for 7 MINUTES! My family and I went here after my uncle's funeral. We waited approximately an hour for food. My cousin went up to the waitress to find out what was taking so long, and she gave him an attitude. We were about to leave, but our food arrived. Some of my family members complained about the food being cold. I ordered two carne asada tacos, and they were okay. The manager wasn't onsite, they had to reach out to the manager on the phone. They offered to compensate our meals by 10 percent, but we had enough and left. On the contrary, Hannah was the best server we had. She took care of us, and was so polite that we tipped her more. The waitress that was rude to my cousin didn't get not one cent for her tip. Overall, the experience was not pleasant. Never coming back there again if we ever go back to Palmdale. read more

The first time was grand opening and everything was rushed so I kind of made excuses for the burnt waffle and undercooked chicken but today there are very few people here and I have gotten burnt and undercooked pancakes. It looks promising from the outside and the menu, but run. I got the kitchen sampler which includes chicken strips, onion rings, and mozzarella sticks. However, every item had strange taste of fish. After thinking about it I'm pretty sure they haven't changed the oil in while which explains why it all tasted like fish. My dad got the breakfast burrito and that was also not good at all. The waitress also had us sitting there for about 10 minutes before I had to wave her down to come take our order. I read the reviews before I went and decided to give it a try. Waffle kitchen is a decent place. The waffles are in fact good from taste to texture. I ordered biscuits and gravy once and it was just ok. The biscuits didn't seem fresh but then again they do focus on waffles here. Not many beers on tap but they do have Space Dust IPA which is the one I normally get and enjoy. I have also tried the dinner fajita plate which had great flavor. I recommended the fajitas for sure. Service is slow sometimes. Waiters don't seem to be so attentive. There's not many sit down breakfast choices on this side of town except Denny's so we were excited to try the Waffle Kitchen. With "waffle" in the name that's what I had to try and they didn't disappoint. The service was quick and the food was delicious. The servings were huge. Neither of us finished all of our food.
