I was stuck in Tulsa, OK during the snow and ice storms there 2 months ago and nothing was open but this place. Food was Waffle House typical and good. I watched them cook it and had the eggs and home fries with a side of sausage patties. Yummy but wish I had a full scale diner menu. Still it served the purpose as I was trapped due to snow. Fresh and good but wish I could have ordered something more worthwhile. Service was where it shined. The lady was who served me was really nice and attentive. That like I have said recently must be a southern thing. I tipped her well since she was friendly and because the weather was going to kill her tips for sure and she kept my coffee always filled. Ambiance is the same as any other Waffle House and there were others stuck like me. So it was nice to see. Clean and bright. I sat at the counter. Overall a good place to go if you are looking for a simple meal. Worth the stop if you are there. read more

Quick service and clean restrooms. Not far off the highway and plenty of options, good waffle house

Here from California and had to stop in. First of all there's plenty of parking outside. Inside wasn't busy and we were free to sit anywhere. It has an open kitchen so you can watch your food being prepared. Prices, are pretty cheap compared to California. We had a large group and we ordered waffles, eggs, and bacon. Waffle House is a staple diner across the US and this tiny one outside of Tulsa maintains the standard fare I've become accustomed to in my travels. Today's meal was excellent- the hash browns crispy, the food hot, the tea sweet. LaVonda, our server was sweet, fast, and incredibly cheerful- a mini-hurricane behind the counter. Always had a soft spot for Waffle House, mainly because of all the times we'd go there for food after a night of (my friends) drinking themselves silly when we were teens. Food is always good, and the service is generally good and friendly. I haven't been to this location before (we'd usually go to the Mingo Rd one and back then it was in the middle of nowhere), but came here since it was close by. Food is delicious, and server Mechelle is a little firecracker! Everyone working had on a mask (and most had them correct... which in Oklahoma is amazing) and the service was FAST! I called in an order was told it would be 10 minutes I gave it longer I walked in the door 15 minutes after calling it in and the guy that took my order was just putting my order in. The best parts are that it's cheap, fast and the cooks and waitstaff are unintentionally hilarious. Checked into a nearby motel and had a quick bite here. Fresh made beef burger and very friendly staff.

We stayed at a local hotel in Catoosa on the way to Arizona and the $40 steak and sides we paid for at the hotel restaurant was cold, dry and tasteless. We all went to bed with stomachs growling. In the morning we all woke up hangry at one another. That was until we stepped into this Waffle House and immediately were greeted by employees and customers. The waiter started out a little quiet but very efficient and pleasant. We ordered food and when the waiter walked away from the table, I whispered to my husband "I forgot to order coffee!" and a second later I had a steaming cup of java right smack dab in front on me with packets of sugar and cream to boot. We stayed for longer than we should have but by the time we left we were all sharing life stories with one another! They get 5 stars for their food, people and service. read more

I've stayed next door in the motel. Ate here several times. Great service great food. Got to love the waffles an hash browns. Service is better then usual due to the fact they will joke an converse with you. Seems to have their regular people that come in an nice to know they have regulars. I was just charged a fee for take out!!! I have this number saved and have frequently stopped in to grab breakfast on my way to work and have never been forced to eat my food there or pay a fee for take out. So let me get this straight they are telling me that I have to sit down and eat in a place with probably 10 tables or I will be charged to take the same food home!! Just lost a customer...not that serious...I won't be back!!! read more
