Local here and am glad we have this one nearby! Giving a 5 to show some love, although I'd put it more at a 4 on average - these 1-stars are a little extreme, come on people it's a waffle house! When all else is closed who has your back with a warm waffle and hash browns your way?! ha! The staff is usually on point to get it done and kind (at least in my experience, we often go mornings 7-10am range). The inside is usually clean, but bear in mind there's never a time to officially get it spic and span as they say, so you take that with some understanding. We needed a place to eat dinner with fast table service since we were traveling a total of 12 hours driving time in one day. The girls ordered breakfast while the adults ordered dinner. I had the Deluxe Cheeseburger with Hash Browns "scattered and smothered" which means with onions. I cleaned my plate it was that good. She ate all of her Patty Melt and most of her Hash Browns until she got full. The girls sat in a different booth so I didn't see how much they ate but I did notice the granddaughter's friend ate all of her waffle and left nothing on the plate. I like Waffle House. The service is always fast. The food is consistently good. Today was no different. Fast service and great food. I love how the check is always dropped off during your meal. You never have to wait for it. The restroom was clean and smelled very nice. Parking was plentiful. I even fed the jukebox, which is something I rarely do because it's already playing music. It's unfortunate I was super excited to go to a Waffle House and really splurge on a nice breakfast. Unfortunately, I had an awful experience. The entire order was wrong and they actually brought us out a completely different order. When we finally received our order it was still wrong and we had a table full of food we didn't order. We tried to correct it with the waitress and it led to being overcharged and it just made all of us very uncomfortable. read more

I go here every single day after work and sit in the same spot, order the same food, same drink, usually at the exact same time. Not once over the months I've been there have I ever had anything messed up. The worst that has happened was the waitress forgot what I wanted to drink and had to come back seconds later and ask again. We both thought it was a funny moment. The waitress has been my same waitress everyday for about 2 months and tells the cook what I want as soon as she sees me walk in. Great food, great people they have never disappointed. There is great tasting food and the atmosphere was nice.

I come out on weekend and for they are always great. Very friendly and they make the atmosphere really nice. I do recommend this location.

I love, love, LOVE Waffle House. We don't have them anywhere near us so it's a treat to stop when we are road tripping in the south. On our first southern roadtrip I got the hubby to try it and now he's hooked. Besides stopping for a gas this was our first real stop on our honeymoon roadtrip. It was a great place to stop because as usual everyone was friendly and the food was good. When you're out out on the road you want something quick and good and to be back on your way. Waffle House is perfect and this location is no exception. Plus it's close to Knoxville without the traffic of Knoxville. We like to stop near but not in cities to avoid the heavier traffic. read more

I have been a regular for about a year and a half and I can say that the awesome crazy people that work night shift are the best. Everyone is very nice and does a great job. The weekend nightshift crew are the ones that made me a regular with their personality and great service. Terrible service!! Pauline was extremely rude just because we do not come to Waffle House all the time. I am so sorry we do not know the menu. She gave us the dirtiest looks and when she was taking our order her book went into my water and acted like it didn't happen. read more

What can I say? It's a Waffle House. It was open 24hrs so it fit my late night needs. I was surprised to find that they didn't have a chili burger. It's a wonder why since they obviously have both. With come chagrin from my server I made one. Smothered and covered hash browns were a must to be covered in the chili along with the burger stripped of the lettuce, pickles,and tomatoes. I would also recommend asking for the onions on the burger be diced if you're into onions. Not to pat myself on the back, but my persistence in having a chili burger was well rewarded.
