A lot of items seemed yummy so I opted for the fish tacos, which come with two sides and 2 tacos; they were prepared differently than what I expected, but they were tasty! I ordered a steak sandwich to take to my wife and was expecting the same: to be tasty, but as it turned out, the steak was thick, hard and tasteless! Disappointed. I've heard such great things about this place so I went for lunch today with my dad. We got there and placed our order and the girl on register said it wasn't working and we'd need to move to the next one. We do and repeat our order and all is well. No worries! We then went and sat down and watched the long line of people that were behind us order. 30 minutes later we had yet to receive our order and almost every person that ordered after us were eating. My dad went to the counter and asked about our order number. The girl looks it up and goes "oh yeah, we'll get that right out." Dad comes back and sits down and about 15 min later a different girl finally brings us our food and says "I apologize, your ticket didn't get pushed through to the back." She then sets the food down and walks away. At this point we've been here close to an hour, people that ordered after us are done and leaving and we are just getting our food. For the sides you can pick grilled asparagus, raspberry coleslaw, red mashed potatoes, snap peas, and spinach salad. My sister and I tried the tilapia fish tacos with red mashed potatoes and asparagus. My dad had the grilled chicken teriyaki with raspberry cole slaw and snap peas. It was obvious that the ingredients were fresh and well prepared! The fish tacos were pretty good as well! The cole slaw was not the cole slaw you'd expect with lots of heavy mayonnaise, instead it was light and made with a raspberry dressing. The veggie options provides a healthy alternative! I went there to pick up something to eat around 1pm on a weekday, the place was completely full! Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get; an entree + 2 sides can range from $8-$10. I got the steak sandwich with the spinach salad (with fresh berries and mandarin oranges) and watermelon salad (with feta, basil, and onions), as well as some banana pudding (with nilla wafers from your childhood!) for dessert for $12. The staff was friendly and service was quick, despite it being very busy. There was also a group of people that either called in or walked up to order to-go orders. For my lunch I ordered the steak sandwich with a spinach salad and kettle chips. The steal was greatly marinated and tender and served on ciabatta bread with horseradish, lettuce, provolone, and sautéed onions. My spinach salad was surprisingly topped with berries, mandarins, and craisins. Admittedly it probably wasn't the best side to my super savory sandwich, but it was fresh and tasty. I ate everything on my place. Again best lunch in a while and I appreciated the quick service. By 1:00 the rush had died down and I was finished with my meal and on the way out the door. read more
