    Harvest hash
    Nicole H.

We enjoyed our brunch on a Friday at First watch. We chose three items from the seasonal menu and the two entrees were wonderful! The barilla quesadilla benedict was so flavor and my hubby loved the harvest hash. Sadly the cinnamon churros were anything but cinnamon flavored. They were bland and dry. Even viably burnt somehow (weird because you fry a churro). Service was pleasant and the restaurant was clean. We'll be back but just no churros!

Favorite place to get breakfast, they are so accommodating for allergies and don't even upcharge for gluten free bread or egg whites. They always have amazing service and the food is always fast and delicious. Highly recommend this location as well it is very well run and kept.

Three words for you... Million Dollar Bacon!!!! Run and don't walk to this place! They didn't cook my eggs right...plus I like when my cheese is melted in my eggs...but hey, it was still really good. My friends and I ate breakfast here yesterday. The service was great and the restaurant was clean. I also tasted my friend's drink, Morning Meditation...I think that was the name of it. It was really good. I give this place a 10 out of 10. I definitely recommend!

First Watch has quickly become our beloved brunch spot. My favorite items on the menu include the Floridian French toast and the Morning Market Veg omelette. For their French toast they use this delicious thick cut brioche bread and the Floridian French toast is covered with fresh bananas, kiwi, and strawberries and served with a warm berry compote on the side. The Morning Market omelette is chock full of roasted zucchini, crimini mushrooms, shallots, kale, tomatoes, and goat cheese. The omelette is served with toast and home fries and is my favorite breakfast go-to here. My husband's favorite is the BLTE, which is the classic BLT with an over hard egg, Monterey Jack, and Mayo. We can't recommend this place enough. The service is fast and friendly and we loved how the waiters remembered us on our second and third visits!!

This was my first time eating here, so I didn't know what to expect. I thought it was like a Panera where a cashier would ring up your order, but this is a sit down restaurant. I ordered our food with their app since it was a last minute breakfast decision before church. The food was finished fast and it was waiting for "pick up" when I entered. I asked if we could sit and eat our to-go food and they allowed us to eat at a table. The food was delicious and the fruit was fresh (but, I wish the fruit cup was in a bigger to-go container...only had 4 small pieces of fruit). I loved the Morning Meditation! I told my husband that "I could feeeelll the nutrients running through my veins"....he looked at me with a raised eyebrow! Try the Morning Meditation and feeeelll it for yourself!

You have to overlook the terrible location. There's Hardly any parking and you may have to drive around several times to find a place. The atmosphere is very nice. The staff is courteous and attentive. The food is absolutely delicious. Definitely will be coming back

    Tropical sunrise and hot chocolate

First watch is not your typical breakfast spot, but you can find all your classic favorites here. We had a large group celebrating a graduation here. Our food came out in a reasonable time despite the restaurant being busy and us having 8 different orders. Most of the group ordered the "Tri-Fecta" which allows you to customize 3 breakfast classics (eggs, protein, and pancake or French toast). I am not the biggest breakfast fan so I ordered a sandwich and salad combo. Overall I can tell first watch uses quality ingredients for wholesome meals. The most interesting thing we got was actually the drinks. The tropical sunrise was refreshing and the kids liked the hot chocolate.

Environment was great, relaxing. Fast service, & of course good food :)) definitely would come again

Ham & cheese with tomato basil soup lunch special for $10.29.

Hot ham and cheese lunch special w/tomato basil soup on a rainy day with a cup of coffee = perfection. Had to wait a little while at the front for someone to notice & seat me but service at table & food was delish & fresh. Simple, comfy seating. Reminds me of the better breakfast cafes in Chicago. Don't miss it!

I stopped at this First Watch because I couldn't decide what to eat and you can never go wrong with a Chickichanga. I just wanted to say y'all are doing everything right. The service was incredible, the food was delicious, and the vibes were immaculate. Y'all had exactly what I needed this morning, kindness and good food. Thank you.

I joined a few friends for brunch. The wait was pretty long but well worth it. The food was 10/10. I had the farmhouse hash - pictured. As well as a pomegranate tequila sunrise. The atmosphere was chill and laid back, even considering how busy they were. I can't wait to go back. No one at my table (5 women) had any complaints.

But just about every thing to do with our dinner was low quality The Maitre d (or host mgr) has poor customer service skills. He is the wrong person to be in that position. Sometimes I would suggest to have him train at one of better dinner houses in Knoxville, but his attitude is such I'm not sure he would understand his deficiencies. Overall, he does not treat guests as if they are the lifeline for a restaurant. He made no effort to make us feel he was glad we came to The Kennedy and when we left he made no attempt to thank us or ask how our experience was. If he is not replaced the restaurant will steadily lose customers. The food quality was poor. The salmon on top of Brussel sprouts tasted as if someone in the kitchen poured molasses on top of the Brussel Spouts. Then after it was sent back with the request to re-do the dinner without the sweetener it came back (after a very long delay) with a huge plate of Brussel Sprouts that were completely dried out. It seemed like the people in the kitchen attempted to make up for the poor taste by giving a helping size 3 X as normal. The crab on noodles was a "C" at best. The crab was stringy and the noodles were very bland. If people at coming for drinks and appetizers it probably is a good choice but if someone wants a quality dinner experience I was told by 2 locals who come downtown a lot to eat at Lonesome Dove Brass Pearl JC Holdway (the best chef) Oliver Royale ( we ate here and the food quality and service were exceptional) Osteria Stella Emelia

They get busy fast, and they won't seat your party until everyone has arrived, so make sure your whole group is there. We had a party of five and started with an order of the fried pickles to share. They were absolutely delicious--crispy, flavorful, and gone within minutes. For drinks, I ordered the Darryl Strawberry since it featured bourbon, and I figured I had to enjoy a bourbon cocktail while in Tennessee. It was surprisingly refreshing, balanced, and so good that I ordered a second one. For my meal, I went with the Classic Bacon Burger, and it was exactly what I was hoping for. It was big, juicy, and loaded with the perfect amount of cheese, tomato, bacon, and pickles. Every bite was delicious. Considering how packed the restaurant was, the service was solid. Our waitress had a great sense of humor and joked around with our table, which made the experience even more fun. Since they were so busy, we didn't see her constantly, but she was friendly and took good care of us whenever she stopped by. SmashCity wasn't far off of the interstate, it had good ratings and although we'd been eating burgers and fries quite a bit on this roadtrip, a good burger and fries really sounded good. All of the reviews were right on - this was absolutely NOT fast food - it was fast, really fast, but the speed was just bonus. As we usually do, we split. We chose the Carolina BBQ smash. The burgers were juicy - if you're not careful, I guarantee you'll be wearing it. Two critiques, it definitely needed more sauce - I just added some of the SmashCity sauce from our fries and it worked but I really would have liked to have had more BBQ sauce. Second, the fried onions were quite burned. I pulled off most of them. The hand cut fries were piping hot, just the right amount of greasy and seasoned perfectly. Splitting the burger was a good call - I'd never have eaten the whole thing myself. The burger and fries were just over $20. When you consider a Big Mac meal at that clown place is $14, SmashCity is almost a bargain. Paul, the owner was like the energizer bunny - he was everywhere at once. Personality oozed from his pores. Make sure you tell him Sue said hi! (He won't remember me but just say hi anyway!) Now I wouldn't say SmashCity has the best burgers - that award goes to our friend Jerry. He makes a pretty mean smash burger on the blackstone. If you have an extra half hour, skip the fast food burger joints, get off that highway, and go let Paul fill your belly for the rest of your trip! You'll appreciate it!

I also had a bite of the smoked salmon from the power bowl and a bite of the chicken piccata. A bit on the pricier side for a lunch but I enjoyed what I had at Cazzy's. I hear both locations are very consistent as well.

We did not have any drinks but the offerings cover the local, standard and top shelf tastes. The staff is even invited to events to learn about food and drink parings. Lunch was grab and eat. It was very quiet becasue we were well past the lunch rush and before the early dinners. I needed something more than a salad or bowl even though several were tempting. Not always a burger guy, but a bison burger will draw my attention. You don't see bison much in TN. Delicious. Juicy enough I needed an extra napkin. The second reason I chose the burger was for the carrot fries. I don't ever remember having them before or even seeing them. Their good, no reason they can't be a replacemnt to traditional fries and they don't "sag" as much as sweet potato fries. In my case, the kitchen put potato fries on the plate rather than carrot fries. Our server, Daniel noticed it and brought out a separate plate with proper side. Great service there. Another upgrade is that seasoning on the fries. There are several different ones and they differ byt the dish and fry. It was fun to compare the difference on the plate. So, cazzy's is not at diner but a fine gastropub.
