I came in after a long day sitting to get my hair done and wanted to reward myself with Waffle House for my first meal of the day, as I had been craving it all day. I was greeted by MiMi. There was a kindness about her tone, she said "What are you drinking Pooh?" I responded by asking for a coffee and water. The other server (can't remember her name) brought me those to start off and then I ordered my food. Mimi began cooking my meal and even asked if I liked the color of my waffle or if I wanted it a bit darker. I've never had someone ask me that, such a small detail showed that she cared about me as a customer. I was the only customer dining in, but I sat there for about an hour slowly ate my food and scrolled through my phone because I just felt comfortable in the environment . I just moved back to home to Georgia and I needed a moment at my happy place after living on the west coast with no Waffle Houses at all. I can't tell you the last time I sat inside of a Waffle House for a meal rather than just picking up, but they did not disappoint! I'm hearing they there is a regular crew that works here and today when I walked in this was stated by two regular customers. One customer who has been coming to this location actually walked out disappointed. So with that I am guessing any other day that the normal staff is her would have been the day to come, but today was not the day for the regular customer or for me as a new customer to this location and to top it off I brought a guest visiting from Texas. ‍ Organizationally it was a complete mess from the point of ordering to receiving inaccurate and cold food. The only good thing I can say is that the place is very clean. The team did not communicate and everything was wrong. They were making tea in coffee pots and served us tea when we thought we were getting coffee. This was more like 1.5 stars. read more

I'm suspicious of anyone who doesn't like waffle house. It's the breakfast you should get at home, but don't. The eggs scrambled with cheese should have earned them a Michelín Star by now. There is nothing fancy about this place, thats what people love about it. You enter, sit down, place your order, eat and leave! More than likely you're ordering an All-Star so there's no need to fool around with the menu. Your drink is either coffee, coke, OJ or tea. The staff came with the restaurant so they treat you like family, you know the family who is always fussing about something. Mainly the order being wrong, ready to clock out, not caring to work with other team members. Like family you watch , trying not to get caught up in it. If you go after hours there is usually a good chance that some kind of entertainment will pop off. Gotta love this place! read more

Never really been a fan of the Waffle House for some odd reason. If I were to be honest I was under the impression they hired employees that simply take your appetite away. I've come to grasp now that I should disregard who's making the food and simply enjoy. So the food: I've found a love for the Texas chicken melt (minus the onion) add lettuce / tomato & pickle. Food is good but they're amazingly conspicuous about all the upcharges....particularly take out vs eating in the restaurant. This location particularly more conspicuous than other locations I go to, like the east eest connector store and the other one on mableton parkway. They typically won't tell you at all what's extra and I think many times they make up charges on their own. You never know what you end up paying until they've already made the food and you check out at the register. When you ask them why cost is so much higher than what was on the menu, they usually get an attitude about it. For example, they typically won't tell you about takeout upcharge. Upcharges should be posted or told to customers upfront. Who knows...maybe they're making that up as well. read more

They get 2 stars instead of 1 because they're normally good. My husband brings my waffle home and it's not fully cooked. There's obvious raw, unmixed batter sitting on my waffle. I know they're busy, but not THAT busy!!! I go back for my replacement waffle and they're surprised that I expect my money back as well. Duhhhh...I had to waste gas to come back! Ordered two all-star breakfast meals one with sausage and one with bacon and told employee that wearing gloves while touching everything will spread virus to customers. Sat outside waiting on food while she handled menus, rubbed countertops and handled register and my to go plates grabbing the inside to separate them as for all star breakfast went their was no cheese on hash browns or eggs and no bacon on one order both made with sausage and on hashbrowns plate had ham, onions, and jalapenos which I didn't order. Of course nothing to eat with or to wipe hands with also no syrup or butter for pancakes so basically nothing done right. Been here twice, the restaurant was some what clean. First time was a take out order and it was satifactory. The second time I dined in with my companion and the it was a nice experience. I can't believe we spent $30 in there though lol our waitress catered to my o.c.d-ness I suffer greatly In restaurants like this and my appreciation was shown in my tip. The cook burned my waffle because he was jaw jacking with the other waitresses but he apologized and made me another and one to take home. I would give them 5 stars but I didn't check out the restroom. My order that I placed for pickup was exactly right. We got our food exactly 5 minutes after ordering it over the phone. Very pleased.

What else can you say, it's a brand new waffle house. The floors and counters may still look new but everything already has that characteristic layer of grime and grease on it. Don't sent bother me, anyway! Servers are just friendly enough and the food is right on par. Everything adds up pretty quick tho so you end up paying quite a bit for breakfast. We have always been happy with our order but I have heard others complain and they happily take it back and try to get it right for you, but come on folks, it is the Waffle House, not a 5 star restaurant (insert eye roll). I have been to this location many times as it is close to my home. But I will not be returning. I was told that my order was $7.10; but when I got there I was charged for the onions i had added and a pickup service charge. My order grew from $7.10 to $8.27 and the cashier did not bother to inform me while I was placing the order. Once I got home, there were no onions included in my order. I called back to speak with the manager and was told that he was on his way out - and to leave a message if I wanted to. Needless to say, I'm done with that location; they used to be good.
