Had breakfast here for my birthday. Came on a weekday. It was busy and the servers were running around looking lost. Some exhausted from probably working more than others. To make it easy for me to be seated, I chose to sit at the bar area. I decided on my order. The wait was so so. When my food finally came out, it looked likea kid fixed it. Came to eggs up for an impromptu Sunday brunch meal. We were pleasantly greeted at the door by who I assume is either owner or manager and seated promptly. Our server Joann (?) was friendly and met our needs. The food is reasonably priced, very tasty breakfast fare with all the usuals. I had a shrimp omelet with grits which was delicious. The staff was very welcoming and attentive I never saw this place and gladly found out that they opened 4 months ago!! The loaded hash bowl was the ultimate comfort food, with a hearty and savory combination of potatoes, cheese, sausage(or bacon), eggs and for an extra treat get the hollandaise. They've only been open a week but the customer base is there and excited. For a Sunday, it was busy at 10:30 AM with morning diners leaving church, running errands or just those who live in the area. There's a gap in the market for breakfast on this side of EW Connector that Eggs Up Grill has filed! The restaurant is decorated like a diner with a counter and plenty of seating. During good weather, there's an outdoor patio to eat as well. The wait to be seated was about 30 minutes because takeout and dine-in were very busy. We were patient and happy to try a new local place while catching up over coffee. KeKe was our server and top notch customer service! She's a star who balanced a few tables, always communicated what was happening, suggested crafted coffees and doing sides as half/half to try more menu items. I ordered the Sante Fe Chicken omelette with a half of grits and half home fries then subbed the toast for half a waffle. Everything was very fresh, tasty and served hot. It was very busy with customers coming and going. I saw management and staff working hard to keep everyone happy, busing tables and checking in. Never seen avocado toast like this before as it's normally an avocado spread not sliced avocados on toasted un-buttered bread. Food was not hot when received. It was room temperature.
