I picked up my son at the airport and we were hungry so we stopped at Eggs up Grill Austell. I ordered a decaf coffee to start. The coffee tasted like water. I told my he waitress and she bought me a regular coffee. It also tasted like water. I ordered two eggs over hard, 3 sausage patties and some hash brown potatoes. The sausage was hard and black like a hockey puck, and the potatoes were Luke warm and tasted old. I asked to speak to the manager but she wasn't in. I ask to speak to the cook and she said she was not authorized to comp my meal. She took my number and promised me the manager would call me. Two days later I never received a call. I called and the manager said she couldn't do anything and that she would talk to the owner to call her back at 1 pm. I called back and she was gone. Clearly, this restaurant doesn't care about its customers. I was maid to pay for this nasty food. The waitress added the coffee to my tab. She took it off. Only have one star because I had to. Last time I was here, which was over a year ago, I said I'd never go back. But I did go back today, and things have gotten worse. On both occasions, we were first and only customers in the door. We WAITED to be approached after seating ourselves, even though we were first and only customers. We WAITED for someone to come and take our order, even though we were still first and only customers. We WAITED for our drinks. Our hot drinks came in styrofoam cups. We weren't carrying out guys, we were eating in! We can get styrofoam cups at the QT! We had to ask for actual coffee mugs. We WAITED for our order which was sitting there ready to be delivered to our table, while our server was having conversation with her coworkers. I WAITED for a spoon for my oatmeal. The quality of the food has gone downhill, as well. And it just goes on, and on and on. I was excited to see Eggs Up come to the neighborhood. Been meaning to try it so decided to stop by after my workout this morning. Excellent service everybody was happy when I walked in the door. Promptly seated restaurant was extremely clean. Service was amazing and food was top-notch. We went to Eggs Up Grill this morning. The food was really good I had the new eggs and cheese scramble veggie bowl. It was delicious. My husband had the breakfast combo plate. By far the thing that stood out most was our server Anna. She had a huge table of fire fighters all paying separately. She had another large party that was constantly asking for additional things. She took our order in between all of this and did it without even writing anything down. We understood how busy she was but somehow our food came out while she was checking out all the fire fighters. She did all of this while still checking in with every table and being so kind and helpful. I am a division manager of Customer Service for Cobb Water so I understand the challenges of delivering service in busy times. It is really challenging to make every customer feel special and cared for when you are also juggling so many things. She even was bussing the large table that had the fire fighters sitting at it. Anna is one in a million I hope the management understands what a great representative she is for Eggs Up Grill. read more

I just moved to this area. I love hitting breakfast cafes and this was NOT the one to hit. WOW, slow and you will wait for your food. The hostess was on it, but the Kitchen could not keep up. Our waitress Breoni D. was the most horrible I've ever experienced. She is literally just an order taker. Once our order was placed, we never saw her again. I was about to choke on the thick doughy Bananas Foster French toast. It says it comes with powdered sugar, but the speck I saw shouldn't even be considered or listed on the menu. She never came by and so we got no coffee refills. The butter was cold and hard as a rock, so good luck spreading that on your pancakes. Finally, I grabbed the black older male manager and asked for water and advised of our experience. He only asked what table we were at and walked off. No apologies or genuine concern. This review is for the location in Milton. Our first time there. Pleasant clean ambience when you walk in. Our server, Olivia was very sweet, but obviously new. It took her a few minutes to get to us.I asked about gluten-free options and she didn't think they had them, but after looking on her device, discovered they do have gluten-free bread and pancakes. We ordered our drinks and our meals and sat there for a good five minutes.. I got her attention and asked about our drinks. She had forgotten. She brought them to the table and got the order wrong. I ordered the avocado scrambler and the avocado they put on the plate was severely brown as you can see in the photo. I asked for fresh avocado, and she brought me some more, but it also had brown spots. I cut around the brown spots and put the green parts in my bowl. My husband ordered pancakes and sausage. The pancakes were so dry that he had to add syrup which doesn't normally do. The sausage was overcooked and dry. Unfortunately, we will probably not go back. read more

First time visiting this new brunch spot in our area. We went on a rainy Friday morning and they were still pretty busy but not crowded to the point where there was wait. Typically rain will keep people indoors but not this day. Service was ok. Our waitress was training someone else, which was understandable. Due to this and possibly the fact that they were busy, we had to ask for drink refills and silverware, condiments. Food tasted great but temperature was not hot. I had steak and eggs and both my eggs and steak were barely warm. I did not send it back because I didn't want to wait any longer to eat. A friend and I stopped in for breakfast and was a little disappointed. They advertised a summer menu with new items, except all items weren't truly available. They do not have a liquor license to sale the mimosas and they did not have the custer for the pancakes. My friend ordered a coffee that was lukewarm. We told the hostess who informed the waiter. The waiter brought another one out and it was a little better. The restroom looked like it had not been cleaned from the day before. Each location appears to be slightly different. The delivery person stole my food and they knew it. They didn't try to correct it and then several drivers kept coming to pick it up and they lied and said I canceled it. The restaurant itself is bright and colorful with blue and yellow decor and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The menu has soooooo many choices and the food was Fantastic!!! I had the Veggie Omelet and added Swiss cheese and ham. The home fries were incredible and seasoned perfectly. I had to try the Croissant Donuts and I could have eaten 2 dozen of them! I realize they just opened so I know they have some things to work on. Upon entering the staff was very prompt and accommodating. Being new to this establishment, it took me a moment to review the menu before making my decisions. The waiter was kind and offered many suggestions as well. I settled on a simple breakfast, and upon receipt of breakfast I enjoyed the way the biscuit was laid out. My only complaint would be the bacon tasted like it was microwaved. It just did not taste like it was cooked properly. Other than that the food was good. The crabcakes that I got on the side were just a little bit small, but I did like the presentation of the biscuit. It was very flaky. hopefully, over the next few weeks, they will pull it together and I'm looking forward to when they can serve mimosas. I will try again but please just take a look at the bacon because it just did not taste like it was cooked the traditional Charleston way. It tasted microwaved which was a disappointment. read more

We had lunch yesterday at Eggs Up in Austell, and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. It was packed but we were greeted and treated like family. In fact, it felt more like a big family gathering than a restaurant because everyone was relaxed and enjoying the homey atmosphere. Our server, Anna, was welcoming, attentive and so sweet! Although she was so busy, we never felt rushed. The food was absolutely delicious and served hot and efficiently. Happy to have an option near the house, we thought we'd give it a go. First thing we noticed as we walked into a nearly empty restaurant was that music from the kitchen, which sounded like it was coming from an old portable radio, was louder than the music playing over the speakers in the seating area but not so loud that you couldn't hear that there WAS music in the seating area. I don't really care what music they play but having two different types of music overlapping each other so that you can't really hear either just doesn't make for a pleasant breakfast experience. Our waiter, Jorge, arrived quickly and took our order. We were happy that he was brewing a fresh pot of coffee for us and the coffee was pretty good. Food came out fairly quickly but trying to talk over two different music feeds during the short wait was still annoying. The food was okay. My wife god a hamburger that she thought was good but nothing to write home about. I asked if she would come back specifically for that and she said "no". The newish place on Concord is a lot better, even if a longer drive. I got the Country Fried Steak and eggs. I look for it at places as it seems to have fallen out of favor these days. It's not listed on their website so I wasn't expecting to see it. (maybe update your site) I ordered it with sunny side up eggs and home fires. The CFS was actually pretty good but the portion was a little small. It was well seasoned and the gravy wasn't too flour-y which often happens. The eggs were actually a little undercooked. Cooked over too high a heat so the whites on the bottom were finished before the whites on the top had a chance to solidify at all. Usually, sunny side up eggs are overcooked so this was better I guess. I just had to eat around the mucus-like whites on top. The home fries are nicely seasoned. So 3 stars because it is overpriced($42 breakfast after tip for 2) and the two music stations fighting to be heard made it difficult to enjoy just being in the room and having a conversation with my better half. All the people we interreacted with were nice though which is rare these days. I'd give it 3 1/2 if it were an option here. read more

Was so disappointed in my order today. I order frequently through Uber Eats. There's been some mistakes they've made with my order but I just let it go. This time was unacceptable. Mold on the blueberries. I had pancakes but no syrup. I ordered Avocado toast and it was little piece of bread without salsa. When I ordered a couple of weeks ago, they gave me a cup of milk with a hole and the driver had to hold her finger over the hole so it wouldn't spill everywhere. You are a franchised business, if you don't want to carry something that's on corporate's menu put a notice on your website and a sign on the door.
