You may be wondering, why am I reviewing a Waffle House. And there is a method to the madness. These places get little or no attention on here, and the attention they do get is usually bad. So I am going to write a review here. Its not all about fancy restaurants and exclusive locations. First off, its a Waffle House. We all know about the menu and its offerings. I will comment on the staff and their work. The time of my visit, it was staffed by three 18-25 year olds and they seemed to do the job pretty well. The cook had a bluetooth speaker and was playing a wide variety of Spotify (or whatever) tracks - ranging from weird quirky musicals to early 2000's Emo Nu-Metal to what sounded like death metal. I had to laugh at the music choices. It was only me and another party eating. The service was attentive and accurate. I was overall pleased with how these kids were handling themselves. They have a tough job and they are earning their pay here. I never experienced any rudeness or anything. So the important aspects in any restaurant I look for are cleanliness and staff performance. Oh man ... I hadn't been to a Waffle House in over 15 years before I visited this one (they don't have any in California where I'm from)! In 15 years, the menu has changed notably, but there's STILL lots of great stuff to eat. I got the Sausage, Egg, & Cheese Grits Bowl and man was that good! I wish they'd bring Waffle Houses to the San Francisco Bay Area, because they'd make an absolute mint doing so! read more

Full staff going on all over. this is one of the waffle House has because of its extreme business and proximity to walking distance of three hotels across the street that you will find also they never close this one they did have only call in orders but none the less unlike some of them but still haven't reopened it was all copacetic at this one in lavergne... the most glaring difference walking in was a full dining room practically with the exception of the counter spaced out for social distancing they have where they hang the shower curtain looking things from the ceiling with hooks and it separates diners what a great idea!!! instead of people pissing and moaning about all my business is no good yada yada yada that's taking the bull by the horns and really becoming proactive when the CDC in your state does allow it it's fantastic instead of a booth open one booth close one boot open one booth closed you do it this way you pretty much get rock and roll almost three-quarters of your dining room now... hopefully nobody bitches and moans and says it's not sanitary looks pretty damn good to me. that was happy I didn't have to wait in line I sat right at the counter and got my vittles. Filthy nasty attitude, smells like dirty dish rags!!! I asked for plastic ware whilst dining in ,and this old lady starting yelling at me telling me "they're not allowed to give plastic ware to eat on while dining in". Rebuilt last year from the ground up as part of a modernization project. Since then, this small location has been maintained and attention paid to details as I thought it was very recently completed. Our orders came as ordered and tasted good. Hash browns were crispy and browned just so. The bacon in the BLT was generous and tasty. You really can't go wrong with breakfast food at any time during the day! Service was polite, professional and nice. Jukebox had limited selections of the artists we wanted to hear. read more

I have been to many Waffle Houses throughout the country. This is the worst experience I have ever had. At first it started off nice, place my order and got my coffee and water quickly. Then it went downhill from there. I got my waffle about 10 minutes after I ordered it, barely golden, you can taste the batter some. I was very hungry so I ate it. I ordered the All Star, so you should get it all at once or at least within a few minutes of each other. Nope! I got the rest of it 8 minutes later. There was barely an apology for the wait. I ordered well done bacon, one side was well done, but the order side was never cooked sent that back. My eggs were ordered over mid, one came in that way the other did not. At least they were hot. My hash browns were cold. My toast was not toast, barely toasted and with a pound of butter on them. The cook and the servers need to be retrained!!! What a bad breakfast read more

To start the waitress Kay is very rude, I do understand this is late night but that's no excuse for rude behavior. Kay actually took two peoples orders that walked in after I did, then my first item was my waffle which was plain by the way yet had large black specs on it. This is the best Waffle House I have ever been to! They were crazy busy all morning and still were friendly and a well oiled machine! Our food was great and I want to give a shout out to the manager on duty today! I didn't catch his name, but he had a GREAT attitude during the rush and was extremely respectful to his crew even under lots of stress. He also remade our eggs without us asking when they came out wrong. I've worked in many restaurants and have never seen a manager with such an incredible demeanor. These guys rock!! read more

The short blonde haired girl server with braces is straight nasty and rude. I am recovering from a broken leg with a plate and 6 screws in me. I went to sit for a moment at an uncleared table to rest my leg and before my butt hit the chair she stated is a LOUD CLEAR voice for the ENTIRE restaurant to hear... "Sir, you can't sit there yet the table isn't cleared!!" I told her I just wanted to rest my leg and stood back up standing pretty much on one foot until seated. She could have just mentioned it quietly and politely to me instead letting everyone hear her. I will never visit another waffle house as long as I live no matter how good or bad their food is. The food and service were very good. Prices are very reasonable. The reason I am rating them so low is that I saw several employees wearing their masks incorrectly. Many employees are wearing their masks but not covering their noses. This is not acceptable. I understand that it is uncomfortable to wear a mask. No one likes to wear them. But it is critical to wear your mask fully covering you nose and mouth and below your chin. Your customers are relying on you to do the right thing. Please do not cheat and wear it improperly. I would rather wait longer for my food and have you take more frequent breaks and step out for some fresh air than to expose your customers to contagions. read more

I've driven by this spot for years and just finally gave it a whirl yesterday. My memories of Waffle House mostly consist of smoke so thick you can cut it with a knife and an oily sheen everywhere. This spot is nothing like that! We were greeted as soon as we walked in, and although they were busy finding a spot to sit was not a problem. Service was quick and the food was really good! I tried a sausage egg and cheese melt with hash browns and of course had to get them doctored up. They have something new called "country" where they're smothered in gravy, so that seemed like the way to do along with onions. I washed it all down with some terrific coffee and went on with my day. I love a good Waffle House, so my advice to anyone who likes a good one...skip this establishment. The greeter was friendly. The other staff were not very attentive, and we had to wave someone down to pay. The food was okay, but the cleanliness of the place was not good. I was wondering if the health dept. has even gone there in the last year because there was an obvious leak with a refrigerator I could see and the silverware didn't look totally clean. But the worst was the nasty appearance of some of the uniforms. There was one person who looked like her uniform has never seen a washer! Ick. I won't be back. read more

Don't even bother, we went in to sit down and there were other customers smoking e-Cigs. Asked them if it was a non-smoking establishment and they said you can smoke in here.
