    Good coffee

Let's start this off on a high note. The food was great, on par what we'd expect from a Waffle House. My daughter ordered breakfast and it was fresh, hot, and what she wanted. Coffee was just right. I strayed from the usual and ordered a deluxe chicken sandwich and had a great surprise. A grilled chicken breast (see picture), not a patty, with cheese and bacon. It was very tender and tasty and totally worth it. I've never not ordered breakfast from a WaHo and am glad I tried something different. Everyone who was working here were pleasant and helpful. The low points? Frankly, the floor was filthy. Needed a really good sweeping to be honest. We came at a time when they were not very busy and they could have cleaned up a bit more than they were doing.

They would have got 4 stars but my omelet looked so bad and I think they intentionally put it at the bottom of bag so I wouldn't see it. Looked like they were heating up already toasted bread on the griddle. Lady didn't have gloves on and was handling plates with food on them. I think her hand touched my bread. And my omelet had to be the ugliest omelet I've ever had or seen. But the staff was super nice.

Love how quick this place is. The food is good and the service is spot on. I also like how they put your drink in a to go cup, in a way you get double the orange juice in that big to go cup. The waffles are so good and they now have a cute logo in the middle. Overall a great experience. This is a spot to go after the club or early morning. I wish we had one in LA

I love Waffle House. I eat there all the time. This was my first time ordering from this location. I called the order in for pick up. 4 scrambled eggs, 1 order of bacon, sausage and a coffee. The meal was just over $15. Thats $4 more than I've ever spent on that meal. It took several minutes of standing around before someone came to the register, so the food was cold before I ever left the restaurant. I'm also positive that they cooked 2 eggs instead of 4. I certainly learned that all Waffle Houses are not the same. Will never go back.

Waffle doesn't look as nice and thick as mine do at home.

We came to this Waffle House to give it a try. First, the table had been cleared, but needed wiping. Even after the waitress saw us trying to clean a dry table with dry napkins, she still didn't bring a cloth to wipe it with. I had to get up and get my own menu, sweetener and more coffee. She was nice about offering to make decaf coffee and came back to ask how we were. The waffles I make at home looked better than theirs. I don't think the manager does enough managing there could be the problem.

This is half of the lunch /dinner menu. They have a much larger breakfast selection. 15 meals for $5.00 think budget.

Open 24/7, perfect for late night meals. Clean, polite, the Friday night crowd kept rolling in., the staff were great, they even got my complex order correct. Sweet tea with a splash of cherry, sausage patties, slightly toasted raisin bread lightly buttered, and.... Two eggs over medium, piggy back on an order of hash browns smothered, covered, chunked and capped. Both the waitress and the cook got everything right! That's what I call comfort food. For a dinner they earned a 5 tonight.

My server was attentive, knowledgeable, and seemed to have the perfect balance of checking in when needed while still giving me plenty of space to relax and enjoy my meal. The Eggs à la Orsay were a creative and elevated take on Eggs Benedict, featuring black truffles that added a rich, luxurious flavor without overpowering the dish. Paired with a mimosa, it made for a fantastic brunch experience. The real showstopper was dessert. The Black Forest Silk Pie, topped with toasted meringue, raspberry, and Bing cherries, was absolutely delicious--decadent yet beautifully balanced. My server also recommended a glass of cava to accompany it, and the bubbles were the perfect complement. Great food, outstanding service, and thoughtful recommendations made this a memorable brunch. I'll definitely be back.

Here is the thing about this place, its is truly not being compared to CA, NY, or any major city…read morethat competes in the french or fusion (European world). I would give this place a higher review if they DID NOT ALLOW full grown dogs and ignorant people into their restaurant!!!! It was one of my bday dinners and having traveled the world, studied french, and lived in different states, this was exciting to try. I am writing this to get owners and stakeholders attention in this restaurant! STOP LETTING the fact this is FL stop you from having universal standards or HR to allow staff and people be fully comfortable, I would give this place a solid 3-4 star for food as it was delicious. BUT eating this with a thick furred grown dog in the room with it NOT being a guide dog, support animal, or belonging to an owner, be allowed inside! A bald, semi- heavy set caucasian man strolls in with his woman and HUGE dog just to sit at the bar... like no would notice as he is a local it seems... Celebrities in LA or NY barely get exceptions as this, let alone a typical person who obviously does what he pleases and considers no one else while their eating in a "fancy" restaurant. Again it being my bday week and wanting something great, the chef came and said hello which was refreshing and the food does deserve some praise! But why that dog that could not easily sit outside (at the outside dining), while its owner has a drink, is beyond me. I will not suggest or want to eat there again while they allow animals that are not due to real health issues or any sign of a true legal exception. Or dare I say Orsay, look around the world and see which staff member or real dining experience wants any pets let alone a big ass dog in there while they spend hundreds of dollars!!! For an INSIDE experience. Please put a sign to stop pets from inside the facility, its the least you can do for a quality level place... Please Orsay, your chef and staff are great but look at your inside and rules for which you want the world to respect. Look at some of these restaurants and ask would they let a 50+ pounds hair'd dog into a place for the sake of one customer who isn't an owner? 1) La Note https://www.lanoterestaurant.com/ 2) Marche Au Fleurs https://marchemarin.com/ 3) Marseille https://www.marseillenyc.com/ I would not want to keep paying prices for the inside to be semi-tavern like and allow casualness such as this... It could be a great place, but again its seems a management or a lack of issue. Please resolve as if people who come regularly were to see this dog and they DO know the world rules or standards, they would not pay the same for exposure or even allergies.

We came in on a Wednesday evening. We asked about the menu and were told at the counter that it was Wing Wednesday and the wings were $1 each. Well how could we not add those onto our order. We ordered a Burnt Ends platter with mac and cheese, and corn nuggets, a Brisket Platter with corn nuggets and beans. We also ordered a large mac for my son and a side of lean brisket. For the wings we ordered the Cajun ranch. Our food started coming out in about 5 minutes. Firstly, I was shocked at the wings. I love wings, but they aren't something I usually order often as I find them just OK. There are only a couple places that I visit specifically for wings. Well, let me tell you, I would make a visit back just for these wings. OMG, the Cajun ranch was simply amazing, really addictive. They were my favorite item. We devoured them. The burnt ends were very good. I appreciate they are big chunks of brisket with no pull pork filler. The flavor was amazing as well and the bits of fat melted in our mouth. The corn nuggets were fine and the Mac N Cheese was quite tasty. We enjoyed the meal so much, were were trying to figure out somewhere for a family lunch the next Sunday and came back again. This time my sister, son and I brought my dad. We of course ordered more wings and burnt ends and brisket with lots of Mac N Cheese. The food really is something special. The wings are absolutely wonderful and the burnt ends are a hit. This is definitely one of my new favorite restaurants and will always be on my list of visits to enjoy when I come back to Jax.

The overall restaurant looked clean and great for a date night. We weren't feeling too hungry so we ordered the following based on the waitress and our friend's recommendations: 1) Crispy Brussels sprouts 2) Duck Fat Corn Bread 3) House made pasta + sugo The crispy brussels sprouts were a bit undercooked and lacked flavor but if you prefer a less crispy Brussel sprout dish I would recommend it over the duck fat corn bread. The duck fat corn bread was disappointing. It was an odd combination of flavors that did not mix very well. The corn bread was mushy and the crisp Napa cabbage with the random ranch/spicy sauce combo did not pair well and left my mouth feeling confused. I had high expectations for their house made pasta as they had a pasta maker out for viewing. The pasta was overcooked and every bite was an interesting mix of flavors...some bites salty...some bites unseasoned. There was barely any meat present and overall we ended up not finishing our meal and wrapping up the night. The only good thing we had was the homemade soda that I did not get a picture of but I believe was the hibiscus one. Overall I would recommend this place for drinks but not dinner.
