On the morning of Mother's Day, I wanted to see if by chance I could get a reservation for a solo brunch before my other activities for the day. I tried Orsay because I've been once but have always wanted to try them again. I fortunately did get a reservation for one! When I arrived, they were very busy (to be expected on Mother's Day), but I was greeted right away. As she was telling me my table would be ready shortly, I saw an empty seat at the bar and asked if I could sit there instead. She confirmed I could so I had my brunch bar too with a great bar staff and other patrons enjoying the day. I ordered the Hey Jealously drink, which is gin based. It was a nice balanced drink, not too sweet and so refreshing! To eat I ordered Eden Farms Berkshire Pork chop but requested my egg fried hard vs. sunny side up. It was so good! The batter on the pork chop was very well seasoned as was the pork chop itself. It was also a nice size. The warm potatoes and arugula salad were also super good. I wasn't sure what to expect for a potato and arugula salad and found them to complement each other very well. I expected there to be an understandable longer wait, considering the day and how busy they were. However they were very efficient and my meal came much quicker than expected, fresh and hot. The bar staff were very attentive as they served everyone at the bar and took and made drink orders from the restaurant. My wife and I had dinner last night at Orsay to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had an early reservation (5:15) in the Park Street dining room which is adjacent to the kitchen. It was a little noisier than the main dining room, but I enjoyed being able to see & hear the kitchen operating efficiently. We were greeted warmly and wished a happy anniversary by both the hostess and our excellent server Tony who presented us with complementary white wine as yet another warm anniversary greeting. I don't drink, but that just meant more for my lovely bride. We decided to splurge a little and ordered the Wellington (which requires a minimum 24 hour notice). Tony was very informative and explained the process for the preparation and gave us the opportunity to map out our meal. My wife started with the French onion soup which is excellent as always. I wanted to save room for the main event of the evening. Finally it was showtime. A server brought the Wellington to the table whole to give folks (like me) the chance to take a photo before it goes back to the kitchen to be sliced. The Wellington is MASSIVE which is why it's suggested for 2-4 people. The steak is cooked beautifully, the pastry is delicious, the filling was amazing, and the jus gave it a real punch that set it off and brought everything into sharp focus. We had pommes frites and Brussels sprouts as sides. Definitely ordered too much food (no regrets). Frites are always tasty, but the sprouts are next level. Roasted with bacon lardon & pearl onions. Absolutely delicious. For dessert we were torn. My wife wanted the vanilla crème brûlée, but was very intrigued by the mini key lime crème brûlée. Tony, being a real mensch, gave her the mini on the house so she could try both. I went with the banana cake which was incredibly disappointing - firm, dry cake, think & gummy ganache. And this is where my only criticism of the evening comes in. Apparently the banana cake is a vegan dessert despite that not being indicated anywhere on the menu. If I had known that it was vegan, I would not have ordered it. I expressed my disappointment and our server had the cake taken off our bill. Again, shouts to Tony, stand-up dude. That wasn't enough to take the shine off a delicious meal and a delightful evening. We have been several times and will be back. There is nothing bad I could possibly say about Orsay if I tried, other than sometimes it's hard to get a last minute reservation (but you can often still get served at the bar or lounge if you walk in). The service is incredible. On par with the best you'd get in any big city. Every server not only knows the menu inside and out, but quickly wins you over with genuine care, passion for good food, and real personality. The menu is classic French with many old standbys and the occasional rotating additions. Very safe for food allergies if that's your thing. Cocktails are beyond incredible and great value. During a work trip to Jacksonville, I had this place on my radar from a Yelp friend recommending who is in Orlando - thanks Ronnald M! After visiting and discussing with local coworkers, they all raved about this place and I can see why it's loved by locals. Heck, even Yelpers I spoke with in the area loved this place too. Both beautiful in decor and seating, and in the food and beverages served. My coworker and I went on a Saturday early evening with no reservation, and were seated within 5-10 minutes which was great. We were there in time to make the last few moments of Saturday Cocktail Hour (11am - 6pm), so I had to have a dirty vodka martini since they had blue cheese stuffed olives. Be rude not to! Same with enjoying some fresh bread and butter they bring you to start the meal. For food, we splurged on various items and I had a non-vegetarian meal to treat myself (try to avoid meat for health reasons). For starters, I had the Black Truffle Mac N Cheese and Duck Wings while my coworker had the French onion soup and shrimp cocktail. I haven't had Duck since going vegetarian for the first time at 16 years old so it was definitely an experience! I found it to be a darker meat with a more gamey flavor than chicken. Interesting, but not sure I'd have every day or even yearly as a treat. As for the black truffle Mac n Cheese? I could and would easily eat that every day if calories and distance to this location were not obstacles! My coworker also raved about her two items, and would return in a heartbeat! For entrees, we enjoyed beef stroganoff and vegetable shepherds pie. Both rich and decadent. Loved the recommendation to try both from our amazing server - Ayla. Every dish meeting the mark just when you thought this location couldn't top the last item! Which leads me to dessert, which elevated this location to easily one of my top meals in 2025 and you know I dine out a lot! When we mentioned it, server, or better, hospitality professional, Ayla, said the chef could make it but Carl already had changed his mind with his heart now set on the shrimp and grits. I'm not sure what flavor it was. For app we shared the escargot. The entire dish was so delicate. Soft, buttery escargot, garlicky sauce with depth, served in a perfect vol au vent. I had the Beef Stroganoff. The beef was melt in your mouth. The pappardelle pasta was fresh and al dente. The mushrooms were fresh and so tasty! The portion was much bigger than the picture implies. Carl had shrimp and grits. Easily the best he's ever had. I tasted the grits. They were velvety, cheesy, and buttery. I have NEVER had grits like this. The Cajun sauce was spicy but not overpowering. Shrimp were perfectly cooked. I want to say it's the best meal we've ever had. Including New York and Vegas. Ayla has the best laugh and was spot on with every detail. Orsay has been a longtime favorite of mine, and brunch here is always a win. We came for a birthday celebration this time, and they struck the perfect balance; acknowledging the occasion with a candle and macaron (classy) instead of a group sing-along (merciful). The bourbon orange French toast deserves its own standing ovation. The bread? Absolute perfection! Crispy outside, soft inside, and not a hint of sogginess. The orange flavor is front and center (orange is definitely the star here), but it plays nicely with everything else. And you can skip the butter (although it's delicious in its own right). The crème fraîche is all you need. I balanced it with bacon (gotta have the salty with the sweet) and it was perfectly crisp and tasty. I usually spring for a brunch cocktail, but I went the caffeine route this time with an iced latte made with Bold Bean coffee. Smooth and satisfying. That said, I couldn't resist sampling around the table: the Corpse Reviver #2 (bright, lemony, not cloyingly sweet), the red sangria (my future go-to). Food wise I sampled eggs à la Orsay (hello, truffle), and onion soup (closest to being in France I've found for this!). Oh, and beef stroganoff and west coast oysters made their way to the table too...both solid choices. For dessert, the toasted coconut macaron reminded me why theirs are always a treat. From start to finish, Orsay nails the experience every time: delicious food, attentive staff, and an ambiance that manages to feel both lively and intimate. This is not only due to the exceptional quality of the cuisine but also the outstanding service. Best part is our meal felt intimate and we were never rushed (but also felt well attended to). I enjoyed my mussels frites but did have FOMO over the grilled oysters. The creme brulee was 10/10. Today (July 2025) - Sunday funday was spent celebrating a birthday linner with a group of my favorite people. Our table of 10 tonight had a lovely time dining in the park st section with Tony. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at Orsay. I love the food. You can check my other posts but today the service was terrible. We walked in the door at 11:00 and sat at the bar. Knowing it's Valentines Day it is going to be busy. We ordered 6 oysters and two drinks. Things were going smoothly. We ordered a burger at 11:25-11:30. At 12:00 I asked for the check since we didn't get a burger. The bartender, who isn't the regular Saturday bartender, says I haven't gotten my burger. He then walks over to the computer and finally orders my burger. Then the bar back brings us two knives and said our burger will be out soon. And I say, that is because he just rang it in, to which the bar back says no it was ordered. The burger shows up at 12:17. Please tell me how it took 47 minutes to cook one burger. And the bun was hard, cheese barely melted. The sauce was good and the oysters were fantastic. People make mistakes. Just own it and I can deal with that. But don't lie to me and insult my intelligence. I love this place and the food but this ruined our Valentine's brunch. We live 30 minutes away and chose Orsay because of how great it is. Second time visiting Orsay and let me just say it gets better each time. Started with the tomato tartare which was very flavorful and not too filling since we had called ahead to order the Chicken Ballotine. Salads were fresh and bread was perfect. The real star of the show was the entree. The chicken was so tender and perfectly seasoned. It is stuffed with a mushroom risotto with truffles. We got the creamed spinach au gratin since it was so good last time and it paired well with the chicken. Another delicious brunch at Orsay. It is a bit of a drive for us, but hubby and I agree, it's our favorite Sunday brunch in the area. They change the menus for cocktails and pastries each season so I was excited to learn about and eat the new fall pastry board today. A pretzel roll with mustard sauce, a cinnamon roll and a pumpkin/raisin loaf bread with the most amazing butter. We always get the wild caught shrimp cocktail that is delicious. I took my girlfriend for her birthday last evening and we had a wonderful experience! We were so happy to find out that Orsay had weekend happy hour prices! We were very happy! I started with a glass of the Sauv Blanc and she chose the Chote de Rhone, both were very good. We started with a small meat and cheese selection plate, paired with honey and fruit. It was a beautiful array. We moved onto the Mac & cheese then split the beet salad. the Mac & cheese was decadent and the flavors were perfection! The beet salad was absolutely delicious! They layered the slivered beets with the goat cheese and it was fantastic!!! We finished off with the macaroons, which were cranberry orange. The flavor was perfect and so was the texture. Our server was Griffin and he was fantastic! Extremely attentive and kind, very helpful with menu selections. The only (very small) negative was that it was my girlfriends birthday and they do not recognize birthdays here...which I was quite surprised, but it did not take away from our experience, just would have added a little bit of flair. I recently came here for brunch with a friend and had a great time. The people who worked there were very kind and attentive and the food was delicious. It's been probably over a decade since I've been here, partially because I remember not being terribly impressed with it my first time there. I also had dinner there that first time, not brunch. Stopped in for late brunch today. Saturday's happy hour and brunch menus both available in aft. Had a couple glasses of a nice cote de Rhône wine at half price and we also tried the Bait and Switch beer which had a coffee taste but otherwise very light. Really enjoyed that. Started with 2 orders of their roasted oysters as they are 3 to an order for happy hour. They were very good, as usual, and mostly a decent size. Then tried their new burger au poivre. I may have a new favorite dish. The burger perfectly cooked ok brioche bun, with gruyère cheese and shallots. But the au poivre sauce so put it over the top - so yummy. Second entree was the duck confit hash - my usual go to. Delicious as always. The sauce on it also puts it totally over the top. Hadn't been in a while but will definitely put them back in our rotation. Also at 1:30 the restaurant and bar were relatively slow so no problem getting in. Our bartender Julian was excellent. Offered us a taste of any of their beers. They were out of the wit beer I would normally have tried. But we noticed the Bait and Switch. After trying it, had a definite coffee flavor, ordered one. He also did a great job with our leftovers, making sure we had extra au poivre sauce and condiments for our frites and separating the hash and burger. Appreciated his attention to detail. The dessert menu changes, so I love that there are re new and returning flavors/options each time, providing a whole new experience with your visit. The restaurant is very clean and modern. It makes for a great dining experience for any event whether casual, special occasion, date night, etc. There is no dress code here but I would say patrons typically dress up a bit more when dining here to get the full upscale experience. We had great service here with Griffin. His recommendations were spot on. We started with half off oysters, gulf coast and we enjoyed them almost as much as west coast oysters. The baguette with butter was nothing special. I got the blood orange cocktail and it was delicious and not too sweet: my husband got the French mistake. We were also created with champagne to celebrate our anniversary. Griffin recommended the duck breast and they let me sub lentils for truffle mashed potatoes. It was delicious including the sauces and it was cooked just right. My husband got the pork that was recommended and it was delicious as well. We got the pbj dessert and it was good but not something I'd have to get again. We will definitely be back. We have other dishes that we want to try. read more

I have been wanting to go to an upscale restaurant for a while. My best friend was in town for Christmas and we decided to go to Orsay. There were two options for seating to choose from when making the reservation: one was said to be more lively and the other was more subdued - perfect for those who want to have pleasant conversations while enjoying their meal. Finding a place to park was a bit challenging, so plan accordingly. They gave us bread to start the meal, but it was too tough to eat. My best friend and I shared two happy hour appetizers: roasted oysters and escargot. I have always wanted to try escargot, so I was excited to finally have my chance. The escargot was cooked in a sauce with mushrooms and placed in a miniature filo dough - akin to a pot pie - with the top opened and placed on the side. It was difficult knowing what was mushroom and what was escargot. The taste was not bad - I appreciated the slight crisp of the filo dough and the creaminess of the sauce combined with the escargot. It was a nice experience, but a repeat may not be in my future as the snails themselves did not have much flavor. The roasted oysters were definitely a hit! The bestie and I really enjoyed those. For our main meal, we both had the rack of lamb and vegetables. The presentation of the food was definitely reminiscent of fine dining I have seen on various cooking shows. The taste of the lamb paired with the vegetables and sauce was absolutely delicious. We also ordered drinks which were delicious as well. The server was very friendly. This is an upscale place, so the check was pretty steep - expect to spend around $100 or more, not including tip. I will definitely be returning for another upscale experience. read more
