Please go. It's the best decision you'll make all week. They have a fantastic Happy Hour, get the Habibi or the Fried Smelt and a glass of which ever gorgeous natural wine the bar staff tells you to get, trust them, they won't steer you wrong Here's what I never get tired of eating: Whipped feta and sea salt bread Fava Bean Falafel Fattoush Salad Seared Octopus Crudo (it changes occasionally and trust me, no matter what fish it's always sublime) The Roast Chicken might be last rites meal. The Braised Lamb Shank comes a close second. If you're lucky you saved room for Basque Cheesecake. The staff is so generous and attentive, just the absolute the best! I wish for a place like Othello for everyone's neighborhood, I'm so incredibly grateful to have it in mine.

Celebrated my husbands birthday! What a great experience! I made reservations for the bar. It was a little tight but enjoyable. Bar servers were fantastic. Very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. I had the sangria( happy hour special) and my husband had the neighborhood association made with bourbon. They were both very good. For starters we shared the whipped feta, hummus with sea salt bread and harissa bread. All were fabulous but the feta...OMG. It was amazing!!! For main course we shared the roasted chicken with couscous topped with onions. They also brought us a baked sweet potato. I don't remember the preparation but wow! So flavorful! My husband was also presented with a happy birthday postcard. Love the special extra touches! We will definitely visit again

If I could leave 100 I certainly would. Im a very picky eater and for me to have an outstanding experience sould be enough. Ambiance is modern and cozy. Service was outstanding. As for the food we ordered quite a bit since we dined as soon as they opened. Hard to find a place where oysters are fresh and food was not overcooked. When I first tried the branding by itself I thought its cooked well although it lacked flavor, but when I paired it with the salad, wow...falvor bomb. Then when I ate it with yogurt, another awsome flavor profile. Chicken was very tender and the crunchy pine nuts were a nice touch. Octopus was meaty and not tough. Loved t g e flash fried chickpeas on the hummus. Definitely added texture which enhanced the flavor. Sweet optato was also very unique. Sime but full of flavor. Something i would make at home.Thank you for a memorable experience and when Im back in town definitely be back.

Othello is an excellent choice for a higher end dinner. Serving Mediterranean food with influences from the Middle East to Spain, the food and drinks are excellent. I recommend ordering a lot of their smaller plates and sharing with your group, rather than getting an entree, because those are the best dishes. Must-orders are the bread (zaatar was our favorite), hummus, whipped feta, patatas bravas, and octopus (the navy beans are amazing). Caesar salad was great too. We did not like the scallop crudo. Drinks are delicious - I highly recommend their orange Lebanese wine. Service is excellent. Indoor ambiance is very cozy and modern - really well designed. While I love their outdoor space, the outdoor plastic furniture could use a replacement. If you live here you need to check this place out.

I was a magical night at Othello. We arrived early prior to our reservation time to take advantage of the happy hour. We were graciously accommodated at the bar in a cozy corner. We meet "Kaz" our wonderful server/bartender. Celebrating my friend Barbara's birthday prior to a concert at the Ritz. Our evening was slow and well paced as we dined on Hummus, Baba Ganoush, Whipped Feta and delish bread. My first drink was a spicy perfectly balanced "No Seeds No Stems" with green chile vodka. We then moved to wonderful wine. The vibe was fun. The restaurant beautiful. I can't wait to go back an explore more if the menu!

This place had been on our list to try for a while and we recently made it there. It's located on a corner in a residental neighborhood. Street parking wasn't an issue. Walking inside, I was surprised by how small it was. There were only a few tables but I noticed a nice patio with tables and chairs which was not in use. I tried of their mocktaiks, after learning that they won't modify any of their signature cocktails to omit the alcohol. At my server's suggestion, I ordered the "take in the sweetness", which was made with chamomile tea and tasted very florally. It was a bit strange and nothing I would order again. The food was fortunately better. We started with the fried smelt, baba ghanoush, and za'atar bread. This was followed by the seared octopus and batatas bravas. For the entrees, we split the roasted half chicken and butterflied branzino. The appetizers were all very good and the octopus was outstanding. It was well seasoned and the addition of the beans added a little more substance. The branzino had great taste and was cooked very well. The chicken was moist but it lacked seasoning, as did the accompanying couscous. I probably should've started this review with mentioning the baklava as that was my favorite dish that we tried. I am not a huge baklava fan but this one was so good that I could've eaten both pieces by myself. It was perfectly sweet and flaky and it didn't have a strong floral taate, which I appreciated. The menu is relatively small and we had an opportunity to try almost everything that wanted to except the lamb perhaps. So while this isn't a place I would be retrying to repeatedly, it was quite good.

One of my favorite spots in Jax. Super cozy vibes. Superb service. The bartenders are super knowledgeable and prepare amazing drinks. My favorite dish is the grilled octopus. Highly recommend making a reservation, which is also required for the bar section.

Service, ambiance, good portion in relation to price, drinks, water refills, all around found nothing to complain about. Beautifully thought out place feels much larger inside than it seems outside.

Loved our visit to Othello! It may look like we ordered a lot but it was the perfect amount! Favorite: sweet potato and chicken dish Skip: pickles (pickled vegis) Make a reservation as this place is somewhat small and was pretty packed. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Kids welcome however no room for them to run around. Full bar service! Service was great. Volume was fine- not too loud. Cute decor!

Stopped here while in the area for work. Absolutely loved it here! The ambiance is cute and welcoming. The staff were attentive and friendly and the food was delicious! I tried the Mocktails. Zaatar pita and Branzino. Everything was super delicious. If I had to say one thing I wish they had a option of the branzino with just olives and capers or something vs the harissa but it was still good as is just a preference thing :) and the baklava was absolutely amazing .

What a gem! I can't believe we waited so long to try Othello! We reserved a bar seat as a last minute decision for a date night and it was perfect - the bartenders, servers, chefs, everyone were so warm and hospitable. We tried so many dishes, but my favorite by far was the lamb shank - cooked to perfection over the most amazing rice. High recommend all around - and we'll certainly be back!

It was a little bit of a drive away, near the beach, and there was absolutely no parking on a Friday night. My husband dropped me off and circled while I placed a few to go orders. It was a cute little shop with donuts, shakes, and ice cream. The donuts are not traditional donuts; more like deep fried donut holes that are covered with all kinds of yummy toppings. They're also served nice and hot and in 10 packs. They had lots of cool donut flavors like: Dark Delight, Maple Bacon, , White Tella, and Love U Matcha, The prices range from $8.75 to $9.50 per box. They all sounded yummy; but we decided on Twix Fix, drizzled with caramel, melted chocolate, and cookies, and Lotus Crunch, which was topped with melted Biscoff cookies. Our order was ready in about 5 minutes and the bag of donuts was nice and warm. We ate them when we got back home. They were more chewy and heavier than regular donut holes, but rich and delicious. You could really only eat a few; so a box of 10 is a decent sized dessert for 2 people to share. Lukumades is definitely a very unique donut experience and worth supporting because they're not a huge chain. You'll be glad you tried them....and its worth the drive.

The ham was below average, with one hard bit. My wife didn't like that there was so little pineapple in it. Our Napoleon pastry was pretty good, and I might get it again ($5 for a small one). We both preferred it to the brownie ($4). I don't particularly like brownies, but this one looked particularly appetizing, and the order-taker said it was one of her favorites, so we tried it. That was a mistake. Perhaps I should have tried the mini cream puffs, which are a favorite of mine (3 for $5), instead. Among other things I usually like, they had carrot cake for $7 and a cup of cheesecake for $9 (which seems steep). Their fruit shaped pastries looked beautiful (and a couple next to us said they loved the mango one), but were $12 each. Their fruit-topped Danishes also looked delicious, but weren't available any more at lunch time. They also offer milk shakes and loaded (sweet) croissants.
