All they do is scrub them bare minimum and put them in a steamer and they actually come out dirty half the time and a staff will literally wipe the rest of the food off with a towel and put them up to be served to other others. Along with staff not wash, washing their hands after they done sweeping the floor, washing dishes, or doing something if you want waffle House, I highly recommend you make it at home. Horrible Experience!!! I was greeted, but sat at the counter. The waitress barely parted her lips to greet me. She looks like me, but not like me. I had to reach over and get my own menu. The closest thing is Dennys or iHOP which is overpriced, has poor quality food, and not filling. Here at this place you get your moneys with for sure. I left full and happy. We were seated right away (party of 4). Food was ok... Toast came out cold with an excessive amount of butter that never melted. We had to ask for EVERYTHING! If I asked to coffee cream with my first cup of coffee and used it all; when you refill it I'm gonna need more cream... the service was poor! I believe her name was Jen. Get it together. - The people and service. I will say, maybe the service timing could be a little quicker from time to time. But the employees here always have a great attitude and are personable. They'll take care of you as long as you are nice to them. (Golden rule, people.) - I'm a lazy bum, so I like calling in my order and picking it up so as to get my antisocial self home and back in bed where I belong. - 24/7/365. - Cheap cheap! I loves it. The jukebox was broken and they left it operating, so I payed 3 bucks just for my songs to be played cutting in and out. I ordered a two egg breakfast, and my friend ordered a waffle. I got my meal about 10 minutes after we first ordered and my friends waffle came another 5-7 minutes after. By this time neither of us had gotten our drinks, which were simply water and a coffee. After we ate, we got up to pay since we had finished our meals and wanted to avoid having to deal with further bad service in getting our beverages, however, our server looked at us standing at the front ready to pay, and put our drinks on our empty table. We asked for our drinks to go. We then got ready to pay, but the server had written our check as a part of the two other booths behind us. He said he assumed they were our parents, even though we came in way later than them and didn't talk to them once. We had to wait a couple minutes to pay so he could add up our ticket seperately. I've been eating at Waffle House for 20+ years all over the US and this one is one of the best. Super friendly staff, excellent table service, very clean (including the bathrooms) and food served hot and quick. I pretty much always eat eggs scrambled with cheese along with hash browns and a waffle - had exactly that today and everything was perfect. There are some reviews here that are less than five stars but just ignore them - when it comes to inexpensive diner food it really doesn't get any better than this. The staff here very obviously LIKES working together so you get some love in the food. I heard the manager speaking to employees like people and not robots - bravo. Lastly, anytime you go into a Waffle House for breakfast you'll hear a "good morning"cry from the staff - the one we got this morning was genuine. The food here is pretty good, especially for the price. Based on that alone, I would give it 4 stars. But the service left a little to be desired. I don't expect a whole lot - it IS a Waffle House, not some posh cafe - but I was pretty underwhelmed. The guy didn't go out of his way to be a prick or anything. He was just not interested in being a server today. There were a few issues, all as a result of the server not listening, and being generally inattentive.
