Food/Taste: 4.6 Customer Service: 4.0 Location: 3.5 Pricing: 5 Cleanness: 1.0 The food was amazingly good. The Pecan Waffle has been one of the best I've had. The hash brown and sandwich itself tasted really good. However, the syrup was way too watery. Customer service was a bit slow but it is understandable when only two elderly women are working, cooking, and waiting tables. The location itself is in a very sketchy area if you stereotype the neighborhood. The pricing is amazing. It is very cheap and you do feel full. The only reason why this place won't get 5 stars is because the restaurant is not well kept. It is a bit dirty and some of the menus haven't been cleaned. Kitchen is dirty. read more

roaches by the inventory/food washes dishes under the booth where people eat at and don't care if water, splashes in food, molding like substances in a nozzles that leads to the drinks They do not sanitize their dishes or silverware correctly. All they do is scrub them bare minimum and put them in a steamer and they actually come out dirty half the time and a staff will literally wipe the rest of the food off with a towel and put them up to be served to other others. Along with staff not wash, washing their hands after they done sweeping the floor, washing dishes, or doing something if you want waffle House, I highly recommend you make it at home. At least you know everything is prepared . With love and cleanliness. read more

The service at Waffle House is always great! For a chain place they make it really feel like a family owned business. The food was good, the coffee was hot, and my blueberry waffles hit the spot. read more

Don't come to this location at this time and day. On a Thursday night. Asked for a simple coke and I got diet twice and the server never asked if I wanted anything else to drink. Today's staff is terrible. read more

It's fast and consistent, ask for the waffle right out of the waffle maker. If not food may be on the room temp side.

So good. Everything tasted so fresh and you could literally see them making it as we are waiting. Love the food and wish they had one near me! Great prices as well!! read more

Great customer service, hard working, respectful, and friendly. Michelle, Jhordyn, Jamira, Heather, Michelle, William, and Zo we're great!!!

The grits were horrible, the staff was attentive though, bacon hard, . Other than that I got my wh fix,it was very unpleasant, maybe it was just this location, I passed over the one in addison, because I remember the horrible experience we had there, and since this was a new location and I was going thaat way, I said we will go to this one. read more

Horrible Experience!!! I was greeted, but sat at the counter. The waitress barely parted her lips to greet me. She looks like me, but not like me. I had to reach over and get my own menu. She came back and I gave her my order. Then a palm color customer walks in and she is all smiles and properly greets him. I couldn't believe it. Then I speak up and she had nerve enough to state: "Oh, I didn't speak ". I looked at her and stated "No, you didn't". I cancelled my order and offered to pay for my drink. Spoke with the manager and left. I am ABD towards my Doctorate Degree and hold 4 certifications . I face insults from palm people all the time, but this cuts deeper when it's someone judging me that looks like me. I won't ever go back to this location again!!! I would give this place a negative 10 stars if I could!!! read more

This Waffle House has quickly become my new favorite breakfast spot in Irving! Let me tell you - the food did NOT disappoint. I got the waffles with eggs and sausage and it was some of the best diner breakfast I've ever had. read more

This was the best experience I have ever had with a Waffle House. I was greeted and seated as soon as I walked in the service was great the waitress was nice and friendly. The employees all worked together to make service was fast and accurate. They work great as a team. What I really like is that the cook removed gloves any time she did something different she didn't keep the gloves on if she touched something that wasn't food. She actually would change gloves if she touched different food items. That was a plus for me.... read more

So I'm an OTR(over the road)driver and when I can cook a better breakfast in my sleeper as compared to a whole kitchen full of pans and utensils and experience! Something is wrong! My truck was being repaired and I went to Waffle House for breakfast. I decided to give them a try. Deductive reasoning is if you do one thing, you should do it Right? Not? Of course I realize that this might just be the particular location that I went to......soooo I'm going to give it another shot in another State and time! Follow for a follow up report in the near future! read more

Yummy! I ordered the plate that came with waffles, toast, eggs, ham, and hash browns. I LOVED it! I'm from San Antonio and I've always wanted to go to Waffle House. The closest thing is Dennys or iHOP which is overpriced, has poor quality food, and not filling. Here at this place you get your moneys with for sure. I left full and happy. My boyfriend ordered the grits and he loved them. The waffles were not too crispy but not to soft they were perfect and the waitress was very nice. I had a great experience. 10/10 would recommend. read more

Waffle House - Waffle with chocolate chips - Diners Near Me - Irving, Texas

I've been to a lot of waffle houses with great service and I came to this one because they were the highest rated location near us. When we walked in no one said anything to us or to even just let us know they'll be with us in a few minutes. No one greeted us, nor was anyone paying attention to us. We sat and waited for over 10 minutes and there was no one else waiting...there were about 3 dirty tables and they had been sitting like that since we walked in. We ended up leaving after all of that and was just super frustrated that absolutely NO ONE said anything. And no they were not busy enough to not acknowledge us. I would honestly go to the other one in Irving that's about 7-8 minutes away. read more

So this place looked pretty sketchy when we pulled up and when we walked in I seriously wanted to walk right out BUT I am glad we stayed! I had a pecan waffle with eggs and hash browns! The hash browns were amazing!!! And the waffle was good too! Actually everything we had was yummy. And the prices were more than fair! Don't let the decor and building throw you off the food and service were great! would definitely come again! read more

While traveling made I've patronized several Waffles Houses. Regardless of the location I usually enjoy the food & service. Unfortunately that wasn't the case for this location. We were seated right away (party of 4). Food was ok... Toast came out cold with an excessive amount of butter that never melted. We had to ask for EVERYTHING! If I asked to coffee cream with my first cup of coffee and used it all; when you refill it I'm gonna need more cream... the service was poor! I believe her name was Jen. I didn't like this location; we came here because it was 4 stars! MISLEADING! 3 starts for the food. read more

[3.8] - Food / Taste [5] - Customer Service [3] - Location / Seating [5] - Pricing Being out of state and never had tried "Waffle House" My first impression was actually good! Pricing was good for a whole decent meal. Good, polite workers and servers. What else do you want? People are complaining about the food, service. Well, I have been to 3 different waffles houses in DFW, they all have got my order correct, the food is the same, and what I expect coming from a large chain. Is it the best breakfast joint? No, but not a bad one! I always get the breakfast combo, with hash, eggs, bacon, toast and a waffle! A meal like that costs way more at Denny's or Ihop. The only issue I can see, is perhaps is the establishment has little seating, and sometimes the can have a lot of loud chatter, but that is what I am told, what makes it waffle house haha. Give it a try and don't be a picky butt. read more

William replied with " what are you going to do about it write a complaint I'm not scared" my father immediately asked for the manager who also did not seem to care and had to wait even longer for his check terrible customer service , William needs to be fired immediately who talks to elderly like that shame on you guys I wish I could give 0 start my father didn't even get to enjoy his meal can guarantee he won't be coming back. read more

11 oclock breakfast craving? This is your place. Our waitress was great, the food pretty delicious considering its waffle house. It had been years since I've been in one but I must say, I loved the heck out of it. I might add, they now have a hasbrown bowl. Sure its loaded with calories but its hash browns, sausage and cheese and egg all put into one bowl of heaven. also threw in a waffle for old time sake which was WAY too much food but so good that it didnt matter. The butter still comes soft so you can get it in all your waffle grooves. read more

Way better than a Hotel Continental breakfast, and way more cost effective than getting breakfast at the Hotel we stayed in in Dallas. Classic American Diner breakfast experience. Okay...if someone in your group is dressed like Kid Rock on Halloween, you HAVE to go eat at the Waffle House. It would have been funnier if I'd been dressed like Pamela Lee, but I was Anna Nicole instead. (Celebrity Train Wreck theme.) I actually like Waffle House. I had a friend who worked near one and we met there for lunch about once a month. The grilled cheesesteak melt sandwich is cheese-tastick! It's a definitive greasy spoon experience. I never thought I'd say "greasy spoon" and "definitive" in the same sentence...but there ya go! But it was 3 a.m. which by my clock is All Star Special time. Usually I get the waffle and bacon combo, but this time I had the biscuits & gravy and sausage. There wasn't much meat in the gravy so I crumbed up my sausage into it. Much improved. The egg was scrambled, which was okay--hard to mess up a scrambled egg. Usually I ask them to put cheese in it, but I was wrestling with my Anna Nicole Smith wig and forgot. The meal was great, service was fun because we were the only ones there. I figured the place would be crawling, but Halloween was on a Wednesday. read more

I've had many memories with this Waffle House. Growing up and coming here with my grandparents on a rainy day. Sharing a big ass plate of hash browns with customized toppings with the hubby. Preventing the next day's inevitable hangover with a plate of greasy deliciousness. Is this a 5 star restaurant? No. Do I care? No. The Good - Do you want breakfast at 3am or 3pm? No problem. WH has got ya covered. You want a burger instead? Sure thing. Do you want it to be healthy? ........fine, they've got a couple of options to make it healthier, but... this is Waffle House. Get it together. - The people and service. I will say, maybe the service timing could be a little quicker from time to time. But the employees here always have a great attitude and are personable. They'll take care of you as long as you are nice to them. (Golden rule, people.) - I'm a lazy bum, so I like calling in my order and picking it up so as to get my antisocial self home and back in bed where I belong. - 24/7/365. - Cheap cheap! I loves it. You for sure get your money worth. The Meh - I mean, I wouldn't necessarily go by myself. I could just be a little paranoid. I prefer to go with the fam or friends. The Bad - Is there really any bad to Waffle House? It's good, cheap, and tasty. I'll see y'all soon. read more

Good Waffle House put the others been too. Great service and quick. Which is expected of WH.

The jukebox was broken and they left it operating, so I payed 3 bucks just for my songs to be played cutting in and out. I ordered a two egg breakfast, and my friend ordered a waffle. I got my meal about 10 minutes after we first ordered and my friends waffle came another 5-7 minutes after. By this time neither of us had gotten our drinks, which were simply water and a coffee. After we ate, we got up to pay since we had finished our meals and wanted to avoid having to deal with further bad service in getting our beverages, however, our server looked at us standing at the front ready to pay, and put our drinks on our empty table. We asked for our drinks to go. We then got ready to pay, but the server had written our check as a part of the two other booths behind us. He said he assumed they were our parents, even though we came in way later than them and didn't talk to them once. We had to wait a couple minutes to pay so he could add up our ticket seperately. Pretty sure our server was high out of his mind lmao. Food was good though so worthy of one star. read more

I've been eating at Waffle House for 20+ years all over the US and this one is one of the best. Super friendly staff, excellent table service, very clean (including the bathrooms) and food served hot and quick. I pretty much always eat eggs scrambled with cheese along with hash browns and a waffle - had exactly that today and everything was perfect. There are some reviews here that are less than five stars but just ignore them - when it comes to inexpensive diner food it really doesn't get any better than this. The staff here very obviously LIKES working together so you get some love in the food. I heard the manager speaking to employees like people and not robots - bravo. Lastly, anytime you go into a Waffle House for breakfast you'll hear a "good morning"cry from the staff - the one we got this morning was genuine. Highly recommend this particular location. read more

The food here is pretty good, especially for the price. Based on that alone, I would give it 4 stars. But the service left a little to be desired. I don't expect a whole lot - it IS a Waffle House, not some posh cafe - but I was pretty underwhelmed. The guy didn't go out of his way to be a prick or anything. He was just not interested in being a server today. There were a few issues, all as a result of the server not listening, and being generally inattentive. But still the food was good, and the chef was friendly and attentive. I would eat here again, just maybe in a different seating section. read more
