Not too bad for what I always refer to as a "greasy spoon" type of place. Plenty of parking even though the actual building is quite small. It's reasonably clean minus the restrooms which were truck stop filthy. And I do mean filthy. Our server was a cheery young woman named Brandy and she made our experience a very positive one. She was chatty, interested in our needs and fast. Our food came out within ten minutes of being ordered. Not sure it actually took the entire ten minutes. It was really quick. The food was freshly made and quite good. The new strawberry pancake is quite tasty. All in all it was a solid experience and worth the price we paid. We all ate well and left happy. Waffle House has become an iconic presence on the culinary landscape here in the southeastern United States. Since Waffle House opened its first location back on September 5, 1955 in Avondale Estates, Georgia, it quickly established itself by offering a consistent selection of food and by being open twenty-four hours a day. For me, the biggest appeal of Waffle House has always been their hash browns, which you can get basic or topped with a variety of toppings such as chili, white sausage gravy, cheese, ham, onions and so many more items and you can combine these toppings in a multitude of ways. For my main course, I have usually gone with their patty melts or one of their egg breakfast options. I myself can see the strangeness that I have never had a waffle in a business where waffle is in their very name, but I prefer a more savory breakfast than a sweet one. The service here was friendly. For a landmark, it is by the Full Moon BBQ. If you are in the southeast United States, odds are you have probably passed a Waffle House location. It seems that they are on almost every major highway exit ramp and strategically placed throughout most cities and towns in the southeast. If you see one, give them a try. read more

I'm not from the South and we don't have a Waffle House in Seattle so when I saw this place on my way to my hotel, I knew I had to stop by. I ordered so much food and was excited to give it a try. Honestly, the toast was the best part! I opted not to have any eggs. The grits were giving a little too much grit for my liking. I added sugar and salt, but it still didn't hit the spot. The waffle was very soft, almost pancake like. No crisp edges and a little too sweet. Sausage was dry. But the toast was toasted perfectly. Lol. The meal came out to about $11. I paid $20 and left a $9 tip. My server was the sweetest, which is why I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1. read more

Stopped in on a Sunday morning and took a seat at the counter. They weren't preparing any orders at the time and everyone was sanding facing into the dining area. I was greater as soon as my butt hit the seat. I asked for a black coffee and had it in a minute or less. I then placed my order. Two eggs over easy blah blah blah. When they turned around to cook my order I knew I was in good hands when I saw "Rock Star" on the back of Nicole's shirt. She lives up to it. Everything was cooked perfectly. Chelsea, my server was attentive and always made sure my coffee cup was full and hot. But, not to the point that it becomes bothersome. As far as ambiance goes, it is Waffle House. It was clean and comfortable. The counters weren't wet where they had just gotten wiped down. There was music playing on the jukebox thing they have. Food is much better than most Waffle House. Service is the worst I've experienced at WH. We had to flag down the server to request for everything - menu, check, food...etc. Server didn't offer water, didn't offer coffee refill....heck! she didn't check on us the entire time. My coffee was almost cold by the time I finished breakfast. A group of employees were congregating/chatting in the office as if they were having a meeting - why would WH schedule a meeting at 7:15 AM?? My order came with waffle and the server forgot about it. I had to ask for it. To make matter worse, the receipt printer was broken that day and I couldn't submit it as my business travel expense. What a shame! I thought the food is less greasy and tastier than most WHs. read more

While the service was fast and friendly, the food was.. barely edible. I ordered their "Angus bacon cheeseburger", what I got was pretty much a "bubba burger" from walmart, with a slice of bacon and American cheese. You could tell that it wasn't fresh meat but frozen, and not recently, but LONG TIME frozen, and probably re-frozen. I had ordered my hashbrowns extra crispy, but they were barely brown. I called in a to go order. I wish I had enough time to grab a seat. I have been to a lot of waffle houses but this one is the cleanest that I've seen. I went at 8 AM on a Tuesday morning. Clean, friendly staff, perfect food. I had a ham omelet and large order of bacon. Bacon was perfectly crispy and the omelet had perfectly seared ham with a fluffy egg texture. If you want to experience hair in your food, this place is for you ...seriously, the couple next to us returned a plate because of human hair in their food. The re-cook came back with yet another hair. We had ordered prior to seeing this and our food came with hair too!!! I asked the manager what they do about this and he said, "I should put a hair net on them, but I don't have any" ...seriously!! The servers were friendly & kind. The food was tasty, hot, & cooked the way that I ordered it. I had the (thin) t-bone w/eggs, hash browns, waffle, & coffee. The price was about $17+the tip, which was a bit much. They serve the strip in place of the t-bone for about $11. read more

I ordered food to go. When I went to eat, my hash browns they were not as I ordered (no cheese or ham). I called and they said she forgot to write that down so I hadn't paid for it. Then the all star breakfast had no bacon as I requested!!!!! There was more than enough staff (woman at the register actually stated there was too many people there) so that was not the issue.
