The first time I came here was actually the day they opened and we received free food. Which absolutely made my day because we had just moved to the area and I was so stressed. We went to go to the drive through and the manager gave us an invite to come by for a opening party thing with free food. Anyway I appreciated the kind gesture so much that we go back frequently. Each time we have been here it has been consistently delicious and we have always had wonderful and friendly service. Tonight we stopped by the drive through and the lady was probably the nicest we have seen yet. She just put a smile on our faces. I have yet to order anything that wasn't good. June 6 2025 I ordered the pull chicken sandwich came with fries , the sandwich was dry not a lot of sauce on it. The to go container kept opening up it wouldn't stay closed. If the sandwich had more sauce or if they had ask me if I wanted more sauce it wouldn't have been really good. read more

First time eating here. I went through the drive thru and the wait was very long even though there was just 1 car in front of me. One thing I've never seen in a drive thru is they gave me an iPad and had 3 tip options. I know times are hard but wow. I got a 3pc tender basket with fries and a order of their cheddar biscuits. The tenders were really tasty, crispy and juicy on the inside and the fries look like they may have been hand cut. The cheddar biscuits were really moist and tasty. Went through the drive through and they were able to get me through pretty quick. Would definitely come back here again. One of the only good chicken places worth visiting in the Wiregrass. We always take our friends and family in town here too. If you dine in, recommend the fries, otherwise would recommend the cucumber salad or mac as a side. Because the style of the fry, they don't stay crisp. Think we have found a new 'local bar' . We walked in tonight to try for the first time and were excited to see a large bar. We sat at the bar and were greeted by the whole staff. The bartender immediately took our drink orders and asked if we were drinking or eating. We said both. Since the place is named Waldo's chicken and beer- we wanted to stick to the specialty. We ordered the local draft (Folklore) and the fried chicken 1/4. I got the Mac and cheese and the collards. The chicken was breaded nicely and fried great while still juicy. The Mac n cheese was good, the collards were seasoned just right. The biscuit was awesome. Decided to try the banana pudding since it was homemade- it was sweeter than I am accustomed to, but very good. The atmosphere is very casual and friendly- the decor is very quiche and the music is classic rock. There is also outdoor seating that looks cool. Plan to go back. read more

The macaroni and cheese was SWIMMING in cheese sauce. Dipping sauces were extremely good, but not enough to make up for the chicken and macaroni. The restaurant itself is very nice, and from the outside looks appealing. The service was great, so no complaints there. Another of the fried chicken powerhouses in the same area. This is the place for on the bone fried chicken. It's a little on the pricey side compared to some of the other options in the area, but also the best in terms of flavor for the chicken. It's a good solid juicy piece of chicken.
