He took my drink order and returned promptly with my liquid refreshment and a basket of fried cornbread. I was later offered seconds of the cornbread but I declined. I wanted to save room for the best fried chicken livers in Dothan. A few minutes later the waitress stopped by. Her name is Reagan (like the President, she told me) and she is just the most adorable young lady. I started out with the creamed corn. I am a big fan of corn in just about any style. This was good but needed salt. Same goes for the rice with gravy. As I looked around, I realized how filthy the restaurant was. The carpet was downright gross, there was food crumbs everywhere, and the entire dining room had a shoddy, run down look. It's clear that the carpet hadn't been cleaned in at least a year, likely more.
