Our server (Brook) was super nice and attentive I'd give her a 5 but our entire experience was shadowed by the constant outbursts by LJ. He was super loud and rude with the servers (all of them) several times! Even had the nerve to argue with my lovely server when he made my eggs wrong. I go to Waffle House all over the country and have to say this is not one I'd return to. The rest of the team seemed to be great, smiling and apologetic to the yells. We even had another customer lean over to us and say "what the h&ll ain't no way he'd be talking to me that way, I'd walk out" so sad that the rest of the team have to endure this harsh work environment. The All-American is a treat - waffle with spread & syrup, two eggs (your way but not poached) plus grits or hash browns and sausage or bacon, with toast of course! All for $10.45. Currently here waiting for friends to finish and can't wait to get out of here. Greasier than your average Waffle House and the food was gross and cold. Waitress (Reilly) was very uninterested in helping, we had to ask for every refill, silverware, ketchup, etc. She acted like we were bothering her when we did flag her over as she walked to our table carrying her drink every time she approached our table. She brought us only half of our food and then went off to clean another table and never looked our way to flag her down so we had to get another waitress to go get her to bring the rest of our food. read more

Good ole Waffle House has been in the news for all the wrong reasons lately but don't let that stop you from dropping into this location - It is top notch. When it comes to food, you usually know what your getting at the Waffle House. The real variables are the time of the day, the number of patrons and quality of the service. This was my first trip to the house during daylight in quite some time and for a late Saturday morning breakfast the service was fast, friendly and very efficient. The store was busy but it didn't keep us from getting in and out quickly. I am looking forward to getting smothered and covered more often in the future. read more

We are visiting from California and of course had to stop at Waffle House. I ordered fried eggs, bacon, blueberry waffle, raisin toast and grits -- and damnnnn the food was so good! The eggs were perfectly cooked, my blueberry waffle was sweet and crispy, and the grits were thick and buttery. They even served apple butter with the raisin bread. The servers/cooks Kesha and Jessica were friendly and entertaining, and had a really great vibe. The rudeness of staff is mind blowing. No greeting, tables dirty, and most of patrons had no food or were only served coffee. Will never ever recommend this location, it gives a bad reputation to the brand. If you cannot handle the rush get more employees or close it down. Very very disappointing. read more

SR 64 Waffle House used to be best service around. New mgmt came in lost most of long time staff & even the food has gone downhill. My husband & I have been patro s for over years & stopped going there after waiting over 45 minutes & getting cold food!how can you get cold food when it's cooked to order right there! The chili was good but not even warm. That is a health code violation. The breakfast was OK. The creamer is real half and half but the "butter" is margarine. The grits were meh. The coffee was good and the water awful. The table next to me was ignored for 20 minutes. My coffee got poured and set on the counter and forgotten for half an hour. It's not a 5 star restaurant, but for a basic breakfast joint, they did a great job. Took my daughter here on a date before school and we were welcomed by two friendly employees, and it smelled VERY clean inside. India was our server and she was great! The menu is basic (eggs, bacon, hash brown, waddles, OJ, coffee), but again you pay for what you get. Total for 2 meals and 2 drinks, and a side of bacon was only $21. I never understood why these places get such a bad rap. Comedians make fun of them all the time--granted they are hilarious-- but the truth is I have not had a bad experience at a waffle house anywhere. I just went to the Bradenton waffle house today located off the interstate. The one nearest in my house is still closed. But this was wonderful today. The cook was singing old gospel tunes, there was a greeter at the door, the food was quick and those waffles are unbelievably delicious. This place is ok, not as good as others. It is Right off the interstate which is good. I got the two egg breakfast with hash brown & sausage. They did not have chocolate pie, sad face. Olivia was nice & so was the cook but they looked a little tried, it was 5:30am so they may of done the night shift. Seems to have regulars that come in, that's pretty cool plus a lot of Togo orders. Dude, Waffle House has always been awesome.. during the day, or when drunk. I often take my son there (DURING THE DAY!) and we get delicious, greasy patty melts and hamburgers. Oh, and who doesn't love their hashbrowns? You can get them any way you like. This Waffle House is near my house and the folks that run the joint are very hospitable. The service is always good and their prices are cheap. A terrific place for a lovely, greasy, delectable feast. We went to the waffle house on a Saturday Morning 5/3/2021. Brianna was our waitress. She had extraordinary customer service and knowledge of the menu! She is by far the best server I've ran into rather than most of the restaurants in the area. The cook was a lady, and the food was amazing, especially my grits and pork chops. Waffle House isn't winning any culinary arts awards. However it is very good a diner style food. My son and friend were at this location today 1/2/18 at 10:30am and had a fantastic brunch. What I love is that customer service you receive at this location is GENUINE. The food is regularly consistent and delicious. I wish I remembered my waitresses name from today because I've had her in the past and she always is attentive and sweet. I was on a road trip with my family and we wanted to get a breakfast that would fill us up. We were going to eat at cracker barrel, but there was a huge line. We ended up at Waffle House and did not regret it. Our service was outstanding and the food was delicious! I got a bacon egg and cheese on toast bread with waffles. The waffles were really thin and I didn't really enjoy them. I expected a lot more since it is called Waffle House. If you don't like a noisy atmosphere, you might not enjoy it here. Overall I enjoyed my bacon egg and cheese, and they make really good hash brown. I would stop here if on another road trip. read more

Sat us next to 2 overfilled garbage cans. When we asked to move, they moved us to a table I watched them only clean with a dry napkin. I watched our waitress drop change, pick it all up off the nasty floor, then grab our forks and etc with her bare hands. My wife and I stopped at the Waffle House in Bradenton Florida about 11:00 pm. I've been to a few before and enjoyed their breakfast. But my complaint is not about bad food or service but how filthy the cooking area was. Food was splattered everywhere the grill was filthy. Employees were doing nothing. Their was only two other customers other then us so their was no excuse for that cooking area to be looking like that. Employees need some training on what their job is and to scrape and clean grill after every use. I give it another try but that will be it. read more

And as a west coaster now I rarely have the chance to enjoy me some smothered, covered n peppered so every chance I get back to the South, I promptly motor it into the closest location along my travels. On a recent drive up from Miami to St Pete, I pulled off just shy of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge to get me some vittles. It was about 9pm on Wed night, so only two other customers inside & about 5 employees. Firstly I was saddened not to get the usual friendly "HELLO" greeting from the crew when I walked in. And after ordering some breakfast I got a cheesesteak....d'oh! But no biggie cause I love me some chipped beef wit cheese on Texas toast too, so I told them 'no worries' I'll just take that instead. But you gotta love the irony of WH getting your order wrong in a whisper-quiet, nearly empty setting. The other waitress then told my waitress that she had in fact barked out the wrong order to the cook....then smiled at me with a "good thing you're not fussy." Secondly what chaffed me a little bit is that they ended up charging me for the cheesesteak (few bucks more) instead of my actual order. No biggie, but if I was the server (or mgr) in that situation I would have honored the original price as a token of appreciation for being flexible. Otherwise this is a fine location, certainly not condemning the whole place for one experience. read more
