Eating at chains is not something I do often, however I have been curious about Bob Evan's (ate there once maybe 25years ago) so I tried it last night. We ordered chili fries, cheese burger, pot roast, and pancakes. The pot roast itself was good ( not a fan of the cooked carrots), the others with me said the pancakes were really good and the burger was ok for the price, chili fries were decent, but I would say for me the highlight of the meal was the biscuits (wow). The atmosphere is what you would expect for an older chain restaurant. The waitress was very good, we might have gotten the good waitress out of the few there. From the moment we walked in to pick up a takeout order, they were welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind. Very rude waitresses. Waited 45 minutes on food just for waitress to say you can leave if you want. Will never return there!

Our server forgot we were there. Over 20 minutes and no order taken. Then she brings too done onion rings 41/2 of them on a plate. She did get a few better ones when I complained. Never picked up a dirty dish or glass. When we left there were 6 empty glasses on the table. Her tip reflected her service. The food was good. read more

Of course it was outstanding When I think about Bob Evans, I'm thinking pot roast. They have such an extensive menu, so much good food, but I've gotten to where I look for pot roast dishes. They have a new one called Double Cheese Pot Roast Dip, and the dip is GRAVY. Of course I got it for lunch today and of course, it was outstanding. My pot roast dip sandwich wasn't the easiest thing to eat. Where French dip has slices of beef, this sandwich had pieces of pot roast. That made it harder to keep it together, and to top that, I'm turning it upside down dipping it in the gravy. The bottom slice of bread for the last half got kind of mushy, even more of a challenge. For me it is of those sandwiches once you get your hands around it you don't want to put it down. And it was so good I didn't want to put it down anyway. Very good fries too. read more

Honestly, I think the problem here is being short staffed and under- trained. We've had inconsistent server experiences. Some are attentive and helpful, others are almost surly and unhelpful. The food is fine, basic. Served black bacon today, and although they were not busy, waited quite a while for new bacon. Overheard the server saying they have a new cook and not enough help. Restaurant is clean, though, coffee is decent. read more

We eat here every Saturday & Sunday, wait staff is always friendly and very efficient and always remembers your favorite. Food comes out hot and prepared correctly as ordered. Highly recommended. read more

The Thanksgiving Premium holiday feast was exceptional. I have never ordered from them but given the pandemic and my limited time, we thought, why not. 8 of us agreed, one of the best Thanksgiving dinners ever. More food then I anticipated. I'm sure we could have easily fed 5 more adults. Perfectly packaged and easy to transport. Great heating and prepping instructions. Although we did just use the microwave for the sides. Bleh! So cross between a school cafeteria and Denny's. This place seems always understaffed. I don't really go anymore. Their rolls are super good. I did like their roast beef quite a bit. But, right now I am avoiding carbs , so, no rolls and no mashed potatoes and other than the roast beef, it's just not good enough to go. read more

We went today for Breakfast after Church. The food was Very Good! Eggs were cooked perfectly, bacon was cooked perfectly, potatoes were cooked perfectly BUT the Coffee was a little to week. BUT the BEST part of our breakfast was our Server Christina!!! She was Amazing, Fun and Extremely Attentitive! It seemed like she had all the large parties and she was on top of every request! The service here is beyond comparison. We tend to come every Thursday around 7 am just at the time they open up and, we've never been disappointed. Good, solid plain food cooking down right. The other 3 diners with me all ordered a BLT with egg and gushed over it. All 3 only had room for one half of this gigantic sandwich. I had the brioche french toast which came hot off of the griddle, lightly dusted with powdered sugar (as I ordered) no syrup - have my own - and SOFT butter on the side. I HATE fighting with cold butter as is so often at other breakfast places. It was a nice two sliced order which I was almost able to finish completely. The one thing which (up until this morning) I didn't care for was their coffee. It tended to be really weak. NOT today - piping hot and *almost* strong enough for me. Definitely improved over previous visits. As with many post COVID businesses, adequate staffing is an issue here too. I've always had a cheerful server! Back in two weeks. :) read more

When it comes to the quality of the food at this restaurant, you get what you pay for. Think of it as a better quality dennys. With better service, food, and a sweet diner type vibe. Great place for families with 3+ kids. Our family (2 adults, 3 children+baby) got out of there with a bill under $100. and we got dessert! read more

I was trying to support local restaurants in the area. During this time, you would hope that restaurants appreciate the business they receive. However, it doesnt look like this location does. They packaged the food sideways. The butter & syrup was thrown into the bag leaking into the sausage n gravy, the hashbrowns & other food. Food was unedible. The turkey sausage was like hockey pucks. The biscuits were NOT fresh. I could have went to McDonald's for much less money same quality. There are certain things that you expect from a restaurant vs fast food. Breakfast was disgustiEng. Everything undercooked and wrong. And the bread came with the most disgusting non recognizable spread of some strange orange color that tasted even worse than it looked. Everyone at the table was appalled. Don't go there. so many other great choices in our area but a friend wanted to go. On vacation and ate here on way home. Wait time 20+ minutes. Was offer drinks quickly and taking order for table. That's were the pleasantries ended. Had to wait 35-40 minutes and when we ask manager that we came for breakfast not dinner, he said "it's what it is". Poor management. When the waitress brought food, we let her know we would like more syrup and her response was she can only carry so much. This was the theme repeated thru our service of our meal. Not sure if the employees are shorthanded or overworked but the attitude needs a definite improvement. read more

During this pandemic-era of curbside pick-up, Bob Evans is by far the leader of the pack. The orders are always on time and brought out with a smiling friendly employee. The order is nicely packaged in a large bag stapled at the top to prevent any "tip-over" of items inside. The food is excellent ! Even more important the staff and manager Val go far and beyond when it comes to service.
