I also spoke up on Uber Eats. However haven't heard back. I've been to this location and many others...I bought lunch for myself and another co worker last Thursday. I told my coworker...who had never had this restaurants food...to be prepared...this is the best you'll ever get! I did so with confidence! This is one of my favorite spots for lunch. There were two within miles of my place in Jacksonville that I would frequent. When I moved to Bradenton, it was sad to learn the closest one was in west Bradenton almost 20 miles away. Now, to have this location open in walking distance from work I am one happy girl. Linch is always fun here. The child gets mac and cheese and my go to is the half sandwich and cup of soup. This trip, though, was just to grab two large containers of chicken salad. The place was very busy but plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Nice menu and plenty of choices. I didn't really care too much for the loaded potato soup, but I absolutely LOVED that grape salad and the original chicken salad sandwich. Usually a huge fan of the food.... But the last 4 times I have ordered here they have messed up the order (online/over the phone). 3 of the times they have given regular pimento cheese when I specifically said spicy. And the most recent time I asked for a classic carol BLT and they gave me a sand which without bacon, lettuce or tomatoes. Is someone working there high and can't figure out a proper order ? Extremely rude employees and not professional at all. So I had some work to do and few hours to kill so I decided on lunch at Chricken salad chick. Was very excited to try for the first time which was expressed. I was approached by cashier to lower volume of my podcast bc of an echo. I happily lowered the volume to nearly not being able to hear it with the speaker up to my ear. Then secondly was approached again by different employee to lower the volume and complaining could hear all the way in the back (I was no where near register. As far away as I could be) and also claimed customer were complaining, (no one approached the counter to complain so this too was a lie) then was told to leave. I had just received my food and was not able to take 2 bites. I later recognized the cashier as the best friend of my boyfriend's ex girl. I do not know this woman but she hates me for some reason. This was extremely inappropriate and unprofessional behavior. This employee is so irrelevant in my life I didn't even recognize her for a while and held a full conversation while ordering with her. She apparently knew me and staying to myself and not bothering anyone was not good enough. I had to be removed. Very unfortunate and ruined the whole experience I had been looking forward to for years due to so many people wanting me to try it out. Refreshing as a matter of fact in today's world. We each had the chick menu item with the broccoli salad and I added a scoop of lemon basil. I can't remember the name of the other chicken salad flavor. But, it was good. The broccoli salad reminded me of Whole Foods broccoli salad. It is very tasty. And the shortbread cookie or I'm sorry. We both ordered a Chicken Salad BLT ($8.99), which comes with your choice of chicken salad. I tried the Kickin' Kay Lynne (based off the cashier's recommendation) and my boyfriend tried the Jalapeno Holly. The BLT also comes with your choice of side/soup/extra scoop, pickle, and shortbread cookie. I got the broccoli salad and my boyfriend got the mac & cheese. We both agreed the broccoli salad and Kickin' Kay Lynne were the winners. For the price of the combo, you sure get a lot of food, which is great. Their chicken salad sandwiches do not disappoint! I came here to get lunch with my coworkers and our boss. The establishment is decent size, you make a line and place your order at the counter and if you're dining in they will bring it to your table. Sort of reminded me of panera however is MUCH better, has a family feel to it, with the price and service, it can't compare. It is not all corporate like panera bread. I decided to get their Classic carol chicken salad sandwich, on toasted whole wheat bread with a broccoli cheddar soup as my side that comes with crackers as well. Wow both so delicious, I was so stuffed! It also came with this small cookie which was the perfect size dessert I needed after my meal. They have fountain drinks, ice teas, but I decided to get the water. My co workers decided to try other chicken salad options and loved them as well.
