I am Asian. My friend is Asian. My other friend is Iranian. All American citizens. We came to this establishment. Plenty of seating, but they sat us at the worst table next to the dishwashing in the corner. The seat were dirty with crumbs and some sticky stuff. They grudgingly cleaned them. After waiting for a good 10 minutes, with no service, I got up and asked if we could move to another booth. They said yes and we moved to a nice seat next to the window. Another group of red-blooded white Americans. They weee seated immediately and warmly asked what they would like to drink. We still had no service. I had to stare down the waitress just to get her to come over. In a not so warm way she asked what we want to drink. Then she stomped away. We waited for our drinks and looked at the menu. Another group of white boys came in and the same thing happened. Immediate service. We still waited. Both those groups that came in a good 15-20 min after us got their drinks and their orders in before us. We still had not even had the opportunity to order food yet. Still no water or coffee. Still no order. I got up and left in disgust. My friends reluctantly followed me out. Racist, prejudiced, entitled white breakfast spot I guess. This used to be Mocha Joes and it has since been taken over by another owner. I believe the name is changing to Daily's, but I could be wrong. I LOVE how friendly the new owners are- the waitstaff is the same (essentially) and everyone is so accommodating. We live close and would go often but life got busy- we decided to check it out again and the food is even better than I remember. My kids were treated to some gummy bears too while we waited for the food. I tried the Blackstone Benedict and oooooo my goodness it was delicious! The hollandaise sauce was so so tasty. My boyfriend ordered the breakfast burrito, he loved it. My kids each has a Mickey pancake and sausage, they devoured it. I'm so excited for the new items and this tasty menu! Wanted to try this place fpr awhile drive by it all of the time. Had the skillet the eggs were good, the vegies looked and tasted as if they came out of a frozen bag, the meat chopped sqare ham and tiny sqare sausage bacon was cut up but was good, it was the hash browns...described as crispy on the menue bot came out white as onions tasting like limp raw potato...they are called hashnrowns for a reason. Also some yelling going on in tje kitchen and tv had some country videos of people pooping in the woods and gettinh hurt on rope swings a little weird for a resteraunt. read more

The first time coming here was for Father's Day breakfast. Me, my husband, and our 4 kids. It was a good experience. Everyone was pleasant. So today, we brought along my 2 brothers and my sister-in-law for lunch. The food was good, and as well as the young man serving us. As we were leaving, my brother decided to order some coffee to go. This is when things went sour. My sister-in-law asked for Iced Americano. The lady (blonde hair, name starts with an S) yelled in a rude and condescending tone "do you know what an Americano is!!?" She went on to elaborate on what an Americano is and how it doesn't make sense why my sister-in-law is asking for it Iced! She told the other server to make an expresso and pour it in ice. And that's what they gave. Ma'am, we may be Asian but we know what Americano is. You do not need to be rude and condescending. How hard is it to make an americano and pour it on ice. If that's what the customer wants, then just do it! Otherwise, you can politely say, "im sorry, we don't serve that". read more

I got the country skillet, there were about six chunks of potato and absolutely no sausage. Definitely a let down. The waitress staff run around like they have no idea what is going on. The regulars seem to like it, so I guess it works for them. The small skillet and Diet Coke cost me 11.63 plus tip. I don't think I'll be returning. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I found a roach leg in my food which was pretty unappetizing. The owner seemed apathetic, so this must be a common occurrence. Overall horrible service and dirty atmosphere. Someone should call the health inspector. Spend your money on breakfast in any of the better options on Cortez, such as Keke's or Sage Biscuit. A great place for breakfast or lunch! Their menu isn't 5 pages, but they gave very good food for very reasonable prices. Our service is usually very good but be patient if they are busy; they are going to get to you as soon as they are able. We have never had a less than good experience there! read more
