Pork Roll Petes - Philly Cheesesteak - Bagels Near Me - Bradenton, Florida

This place was awesome. The owner was incredibly welcoming, and you can tell there's real intention behind what they're building here. We ended up chatting about the shop's history and future plans, which added a nice personal touch to the visit. I ordered the Simple Man and it delivered, super flavorful and more than enough food for the price. The space is casual and comfortable with plenty of indoor seating. Service was quick and efficient, our bagels were out fast and we were on our way. Definitely a great pre-road trip stop, especially with a 6am opening! read more

I stopped by here randomly to try out a sub. I ordered the American, BLT, and fries. The inside of the American was good, but the bread was extremely hard, which made it difficult to eat. I had to tear the top layer of the bread to eat it and eventually just took it completely off. The fries were meh, no seasoning and not crispy. The service was friendly, and the place was nice, with families and friends sitting around or ordering takeout. I said maybe because this was my first time here, so I would need to try again to make a final decision. Since customer service seemed pretty great it could have been an off day. read more

Cool place, we liked it. I got the medium sub but it was HUGE! Fresh ingredients. They close at 2 pm, mainly because they serve breakfast so they open early. New Jersey feel to the place. We shall return. See our YouTube channel Coolest Life. read more

Great place! Clean, friendly employees and very good food! Being a native of New Jersey, I had to try a 'go to' breakfast sandwich and went with a Bacon, Egg and Cheese on a Hard Roll...and it was Delicious!! Now that it passed that test for me, I will go back and try other things. No doubt that they put a lot of money into the place as my ONLY qualm are the high prices, oh well, welcome to 2025!! But I WILL be back!! read more

I drove about an hour just for this bagel and let me tell you it was so worth it! The bagel itself was the perfect texture and the fillings complemented it so well. I went with the Bee's Knees, since the cashier said that is her favorite, and I highly recommend! It was not overstuffed but had just the right amount of filling. The inside of the store is also very cute and feels like you're in a New Jersey bakery. I definitely want to make the drive again for another one of their amazing bagels! read more

OMG.....I have to come all the way to Florida now for a good bagel. Living in Massachusetts, I crave a bagel that does not taste like a roll. Ordered the BAGEL SANDWICH LOX SPECIAL...and it was special. Could only eat 1/2 so I have breakfast for tomorrow. My 2 companions were overly happy with their breakfast sandwiches. Disappointed they did not have WHITE FISH SALAD available. Maybe people don't ask for it. Was able to find some at FRESH MARKET. So all I need now is another one of PORK ROLL PETES BAGLES. read more

The food was delicious. The signs say they use New York water for the bagels, and only use beef tallow. Though i don't know how true that is, the bagel I had tasted pretty fresh. It was busy when i went & the cashier seemed a bit overwhelmed. I wish the cream cheese was complimentary with the bagel. I wish there was free refill on the iced coffee. Overall tho, I'm happy there's a new breakfast spot, and the location (next to Publix) is so convenient! read more

This is one of those rare places. A hidden diamond. I've been ordering off doordash from them for a while, and it's always hot and fresh. Well this time I went in person. So cozy, excellent service, and happy people serving with a smile. Now for the hard part. It's hard to pick something to recommend because every single item on their menu is among the best food I've ever had. I actually hate tuna salad but I wanted to try everything they have. Sure enough it was the best tuna sandwich I've ever had. Grab a menu, throw a dart, enjoy your fine dining! read more

Great pork roll. Good coffee and fresh orange juice . Cool vibe. Recommend it for a quick breakfast.

The food was fantastic. We've been in for both lunch and breakfast and both were equally as yummy. Pork Roll Pete's is a hidden gem! I ordered the Godfather and honestly may never eat another sandwich again--it's easily one of the best I've ever had, and that's saying a lot. I also tried the cheesesteak, which was good, though not a true Philly style. But let me be clear: the Godfather alone is worth the trip. I'm already planning to go back just to try a classic pork roll sandwich. This spot is absolutely worth checking out! read more

A great north east style deli. Reminds me of being back in NY. HEC SPK was perfect.

I visited Pork Roll Pete's and ordered a pork roll, egg, and cheese on a soft roll, along with hash browns and a raspberry iced tea. Everything was excellent. The roll was super fresh, the cheese was perfectly gooey, and there was plenty of pork roll--definitely not skimpy. The hash browns were a great side, and the raspberry iced tea was the perfect finishing touch. The service was fantastic--AJ helped me pick exactly what I wanted and made the experience even better. The total came to around $15 for the meal and drink, which I felt was a great price for the quality and portion size. The atmosphere was amazing and really reminded me of a classic NY/NJ deli. They also have awesome merch! I'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend checking this place out. read more

I REALY wanted to love this place! I really did but I think this is a one and done for me gave it a try. First the prices are a bit High a bagel lox and cream cheese cost me $18 that's even more than New York sort of outrageous. There's like six people behind the counter and they're very disorganized can't get the food out in a timely manner when it's not busy. There doesn't seem to be an efficient system. Small sub sized sandwiches are almost $20 again very overpriced like everything else these days. Who can afford to eat this regularly? The food, it's good but not mind blowing the bagels are okay they are definitely not the same as New York Bagels even though they have some kind of New York filtration system which I don't even know what that means. It's worth a trip once, if you like it better than I did go back I wish them the best of luck. read more
