As I sprinted toward the entrance trying to save my hair, one of the staff members ran out with an umbrella just to walk me inside. That level of kindness? Absolutely top-tier customer service. Wow, where do I start? Amuse5 Bakery is eclectic and eccentric, just like Claudia herself. Gold frames, mirrors, and chairs from around the world make the space unforgettable. This is a cute space owned by a very creative woman. I only had a blueberry muffin and iced coffee, but both were delicious. The muffin was huge with lots of blueberries. The iced coffee was made with agave syrup, new to me. It sweetened the coffee perfectly. read more

And a star was born! Not amuse but amazed and overjoyed to find this wonderful and highly rated bakery bakery in Bradenton, that I wasn't aware of. It was a random search and stop for breakfast. Everything from external decorations, theme, design, service, and food was top-notch. I couldn't find joy from many restaurants lately due to average food or service. Food and food presentation makes you want to look at your order and admire it for a while. It's very artistic and a joy to start your morning with crepe or pasty or simply a muffin. Hot Thai tea, I couldn't decide if it was the beauty of it or the flavor, which won me over. It's a 7 or of 5 stars for me, given how I've rated or restaurants in Tampa Bay area. A taste of heaven in an unexpected location! Wasn't sure what to expect when we walked into this whimsical and quirky establishment. The uncertainty subsided as we were greeted by the down to earth hospitality, they answered all of questions, made suggestions, and made us feel part of their family. The shop is just gorgeous - art deco-ish and quite stylish. However, the good stuff ends there. I found the pastries (pan au chocolat) to be kind of heavy and not so flaky as I am accustomed to. They were tough and almost tasted stale on the day of purchase. I realize it's Christmas but should not affect the quality of the product. I also found pricing to be a little off the pages For a $50 purchase I wound up with almost $9.00 ($8.98) in taxes and service fees. The price of the goods should cover the "to go fee" ($3.00) and the Trajeta charge (4%). Customers should not have to pay your cost of doing business and then be taxed on those fees as well. Will probably continue using other bakeries in the future. read more

This cute Parisian bakery is absolutely adorable. It's a good 40 min trek from my house but it's so worth coming for a ladies brunch. I had the very healthy green smoothie and chicken salad sandwich with a side of house salad. I must say my orders were phenomenal. The croissant was flaky and had the perfect crunch, it was just the right size for a sandwich. Chicken salad was seasoned well it was a perfect compliment to the croissant. The house green salad was simple but full of flavor, one bite and I can tell the glazed balsamic vinaigrette was of high quality. Smoothie was very refreshing, had all the healthy green leafy veggies and fruits blended together. It's a must. My friends and I also shared a slice of pineapple cheesecake. All I can say is WOW!!! So glad our plans went array and we ended up at Amuse 5. Ambiance is a great. It's a standalone shop in a small plaza with a beautiful mural on the side. The decorations and design inside is equally as appealing. The inside is clean, has an old school feel and trendy music. The food, we got pastries only, was delicious. We got a cheese danish and spinach pastry. Both were heated up to perfect with great flavor. The coffee was also very good. We got a latte and cappuccino and they were done just right. I paid $30 for a crêpe full of Cool Whip, 10 misc berries and a cup of coffee. Prices were outrageous, I had gone one time before and the crêpe had this delicious cream sauce poured over it that made it worth the money. And they acted like I was making up the crème sauce! Right hand on the Bible, I swear that cream was there the first time I went, it was delicious, and they acted like I was making it up. I will never dawn their doorstep again. read more

Today we tried out the Mushroom Crepe and Broccoli Chicken Crepes for lunch. They were served with a side salad with a Vinaigrette Dressing. The Crepes were delicious and well portioned. We ate everything and although we were quite full we made room for dessert because you can't just go to Amuse 5 without indulging. We enjoyed a slice of Oreo Cheesecake and Chocolate Mousse. We tried berry iced tea (good but tasted a lot more like a fruit juice) a berry smoothie ( tasted just like the iced tea but add thousands of seeds and crush ice) . Don't waste your time going to Panera, Starbucks, or Dunkin' Donuts. Go to this place! This is my favorite cafe in Bradenton! As soon as I walked through the door I was greeted by the owners, and they are the nicest people you will ever meet! Their coffee is the best you will find in the city, and they have plenty of different pastries to choose from. This cafe is unlike any other spot in town, and it has a relaxed European vibe.
