Very very very nice staff, the young lady behind the coffee bar smiled and greeted me and followed with excellent customer service. I was looking for a different coffee shop to try and found this little place. The decor is inviting and it feels like a local hangout. I ordered a Latte and decided to add an omlette to go.. I chose "The Terri". I waited awhile after ordering and asked if I could have the latte, so it took awhile to obtain. The flavor of the coffee was good not great, and it needed to be warmer. My omelette was spinanch and I added ham. The server wasn't sure if the bisquits were made fresh. I then added a pastry. There was confusion about whether they were made in house. Ultimately, the omelette was okay. Styrofoam is not a good option for hot food. On a possitive note the raspberry pastry was very good. Restaurant was clean and was a cute little breakfast place. We came for just a few coffees as it was down pouring and wanted it to clear up before we headed to Robinson Park up the way. They had a cute little couch and seating area to hangout on. Staff was great, friendly and knowledgeable. They have great prices for food around $10-13 for a big amount of food. Worst Hamburger I've ever been served! It came in the foil wrapper on it from the food distributor obviously to be reheated, though it was now cold. I ordered a California burger. When I pulled it apart see what was in it, the avocado was one small black slice. The 1 piece of tomato was the diameter of a crosscut of Roma that was so soggy as to be transparent. The feta cheese I asked for was half a slice of unmelted American cheese. the outside of the bun was stale while the inside was soggy. I would rate this place ZERO stars. read more

Omelette was good with home fries. Hash browns were soggy. Staff was friendly and service was what you would expect. No soda machine and you have to pay per bottle. Odd couch in a corner but overall ok. I was happy with the experience until the bill came. As a business owner myself I feel that it is unethical to pass your operating costs off to the consumer. 4% CC processing fee. I won't be back. I ordered a bagel and coffee and it took a while and I got the wrong bagel after paying $12 and the chef said tough the waitress ordered you a plain bagel and we don't have everything bagels. all is GREAT here--food, comfort and nice home like feeling. There is one exception. our waitress who we had the last two visits. Not sure if her name-- she never took the time to tell us that. She does have a British accent. I guess she is very efficient, but too abrupt. Toi rushed, no conversation and takes away from the image I believe the owners are trying for here. we live walking distance from here and have placed their menu on our frig (as suggested by one of the owners) to remind us to eat here and buy locally rather than the "other" franchised breakfast places in Bradenton. if we enjoyed our server we may have better memories of this place and not need the menu to remind us. Food was good and prices ok but would have enjoyed our visit better perhaps with a different server. Very disappointEd especially with a foreign worker that we usually enjoy barring their accent and all. My advice HAVE her slow down and enjoy conversation with your patrons. FYI there is an extra charge for credit card use. A policy that many have adopted but others POST that info on menu or somewhere visible. Quite possibly the worst breakfast I've had at a restaurant and unfortunately, the service was just as bad. Ordered over easy eggs, was served well...like eating a hard-boiled egg on burnt toast. We're from out of town and just found this place on yelp and it sounded great! We walked in -place was not busy only about 1/2 full - and we were acknowledged and told to sit anywhere - so we found a table. The we sat for 15 min with no one ever speaking to us again. A server did not come over, no one looked at us or addressed us at all so we finally just got up and walked out. There were at least 3 servers on the floor and a girl drying silverware and running food. I cannot imagine an owner would be happy to see customers just walk out of their business.... Tried this place twice the food was not so good it's like they use cheap ingredients. If you let the manager know something isn't right she basically tells you not to come back not accommodating. The manager with the British accent has a rude way of telling people about the ridiculous rules they have for customers when dinning in. She really should pay more attention to the food safety rules that are being broke in the kitchen and staff. This is a review for only Coffee and not food. I had an espresso and it was not very good. They make espresso with a simple Breville machine and only offer almond milk as a substitute creamer. I am guessing that the 4 1/2 star average review is due to their food, which I have not tried yet. For my coffee, I need to keep searching to find a better place. Sadly, the most highly rated coffee shops in Bradenton or mostly Starbucks. I don't know if this town has a good coffee shop yet. read more

Finally got to try this place! What a gem it is. The employees are so warm and welcoming, and were very kind to my son (although he was being a grumpy 2 year old). The restaurant is decorated very beautifully and definitely fits in with the "comfort" part of their name. Very cozy and inviting space. You could order just a coffee and lounge on their amazing couch (goals). The menu offered a variety of yummy options, I opted for a traditional egg, bacon, homefries and toast meal and my son got the kid stack pancakes. Let me tell you, the portion size that you get for the amount you pay is alone worth a visit here. Both meals came to only $12 (I also used the yelp check in coupon for a free cup of coffee).
