Great local place! Spoke with one of the owners on a quiet Sunday morning, start of the slow summer season. Awesome couch and relaxing atmosphere, huge portions of good food and a variety of espresso drinks that are offered. The service was awful. We used to frequent this establishment quite often but has changed hands. I ordered pancakes with bacon and my husband ordered an omelet. My pancakes arrived without my bacon which I had to wait 10-15 minutes for. My pancakes were barely warm and were very flat, I needed a knife to cut them. My husband omelet had barely any of the fillings in it (e.g, corned beef hash, cheese, etc). We asked for our check and the waitress, who was also the owner, asked me if I needed a box for my pancakes. I said no and told her they were cold and had to be cut with a knife. Brought the check, said she was sorry and charged me for my breakfast. We will never go here again, it was absolutely terrible and the service was awful. read more

Came to the area a week ago have been trying to find a good coffee shop using yelp. Well this place is more of a dining situation but they serve coffee and can make you probably any fancy coffee you want. The food is good and service very friendly the coffee is average. Price for my very large breakfast and coffee was about 10 bucks. I was looking for more of pure coffee house where they roast the beans themselves. I think this area could use something of that nature. Did find one that I liked but not going to pitch them on someone's else's review. read more

Sunday morning breakfast with my wife. Entered a pleasant space and told to sit anywhere.Sat at the bar and ordered coffee. Great cuppa. A most pleasant server took our orders. My wife had a half order of biscuits and gravy-a whole biscuit with plenty of delicious gravy. She added a scrambled egg. (I stole a couple of bites.) My 3 egg omelet was packed with peppers, ham and provolone! Side of grits was the perfect consistency-most welcome. Rye toast completed my meal. Don't wait any longer-go now. P.S. We have been coming here for a few months now, but changes happened a few weeks ago. After 3 times coming back I do not recommend. Coffees never refilled, and no coffee available. Did not get initial drinks until asking multiple times, and then empty glasses with pitchers were set on the table. Food delivery was intermittent, at a guess from first plate to last there was a 30 min difference. Had to ask for the check multiple times. We did not receive menus or any service so we walked out. We just loved this place for lunch. The CaliforNia Salad made two meals. The chicken salad on whole wheat, sourdough,or wrap was delicious. The sweet potato fries had a touch of sugar and cinnamon, and the ice cubes in the iced coffee were made of coffee so the drink was never diluted. They never disappoint. read more

I went here about a week or two with a friend for breakfast and had a really great experience. Our waitress was very friendly and helped us decide what were the best things to eat. The iced coffee was really good and there were so many flavors to choose from and lots of small things to mix in with it. A restaurant should not be listed as dog friendly just because they have outside seating. If you have to go in to order, and the dog is not allowed inside then the restaurant is not dog friendly. And the coffee wasn't that great either read more

Have had fantastic service and food. But, 9/11/2016, lunch took two hours. The place was not too busy, and the waitress acted as if she had never served before. If coffee cafe is in the name, then maybe it should come out a lot faster, and the machines function properly. There is a lot of competition among coffee places. So if the business name is going to implicate that it is about coffee, then you really have to step up the game. I'd hate to see things go south with this place because it has so much potential, but it has to be consistent in all area's. I'm in no way writing it off, but I will go back and see if has gotten back on par. read more
