The lobster and sides were good, but my steak didn't taste right and I couldn't finish it. The service was just okay--I got one refill, but my drink stayed empty for the rest of the meal. Our time eating at Red Lobster, Bradenton, was pretty good. We were seated right away, and our server, Jen was checking with us often. The food was decent. The biscuits were incredible, having a fluffy texture, and buttery taste. The soups (clam chowder and lobster bisque) were good, but tasted different from what we were expecting. The shrimp and linguini pasta were great, and were filling. All the food came out relatively fast. The environment was very quiet, with only a few tables seated at lunch hour, but it was comfortable to be in. Overall, pretty good. read more

As Red Lobster's go, this place was pretty good. There's definitely an odor when you walk in, not fishy, maybe moldy carpet? There's definitely server we had was very lackluster in personality but she did a good job otherwise so I can't really complain. And two adults ate and had drinks and an appetizer and meals for like $70 which was pretty good. The food was really good! I had Maine lobster tail with their signature Garlic Shrimp Scampi. If you can't find it in the menu because It was on Monday Special deal. Not sure how long it will last. They cook the shrimp and lobster just perfect! The entree came with their Cheddar Bay Biscuits which is good too. I ordered brownie Overboard. I was originally want to try their new dessert, which is Strawberry Cheesecake but they don't have it. But the brownie overboard was also good. The brownie wasn't warm but I want it to go so that's fine. The only thing is when I visited, they were not too busy, so it's bit calm and not noisy, which I like. only two more people beside myself in the section but the service a bit slow for me. Took my mom out for her birthday. The restaurant was pretty empty and we were seated immediately. The waitress took our orders for drinks and we probably waited 20 minutes before they were given to us.. that was the start of our night. We then ordered our food. Mom got the salmon with some shrimp and I had the admirals feast with broccoli as a vegetable. Mom's shrimp weren't even cooked to temperature and were basically raw and my broccoli was overcooked and it was mush. I complained to the waitress and she said she was going to talk to the manager. We waited probably another 20 minutes, no manager no one to complain to and another waiter came by and asked if we were OK and we complained about the food and the weight and still no manager showed up. This was the second time in a row that service has been mediocre and there are many other seafood restaurants around Bradenton that have way better service than this place. read more

We came to Red Lobster on St. Patrick's Day when all the other restaurants were doing corned beef and busy. We got in to Red Lobster after just about 10 minutes (waiting for next shift group to get in). We hadn't been to a Red Lobster in 6 years. It was Lobsterfest. So the menu was big. We chose the Bar Harbor Lobster Bake and the Ultimate Feast. We share all the plates so we get a little of everything. We got Caesar salads, baked potato and a cup of clam chowder on the side. The Bar Harbor Lobster Bake was very good with shrimp, mussels, scallops and Maine lobster tail over linguine. The linguine and seafood was cooked perfectly and was delicious. The Ultimate Feast was also very good. It had shrimp, snow crab legs and lobster. My only negative was the lobster were so tiny, it made me feel bad. I would have skipped it. I don't know who harvests the tiny ones but it's sad. They say they are 'committed to fishing practices that are intended to help protect and preserve the lobster population and other marine life for generations to come'. The shrimp are a combination of wild-caught and farmed in what has been awarded a Best Aquaculture Practice. In face, they partnered with Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch program. The program is part of the aquarium's initiative to improve the sustainability of global fisheries. We have to be aware of where our food comes from so it's a good thing for Red Lobster to do. Our server was wonderful. She was nice and excellent at her job. Service really makes a difference to customers. The food was good. Overall, it was a good experience. Went to Red Lobster to celebrate my 63rd birthday. Mom and I were there around 1pm. David at the host/hostess station greeted us as we came into the restaurant. He was very pleasant! Our server was Nahum. He was polite, personable, very patient with answering all of our questions and was attentive during our meal. Food tasted good and cooked to our specifications. Of course, we ordered dessert. I had the chocolate wave, and mom got the vanilla bean cheescake. Both were delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed my little birthday celebration. Well done Red Lobster! I got the lobster and shrimp special. It certainly wasn't special by any means. It had 5 shrimp 5 chunks of the lobster tail cut up ( 1 lobster tail cut into pieces) 5 hush puppies and a load of French fries.The plate cost was $35. Then they were trying to upcharge me something else that was an additional $19.95 no thanks. My child was served undercooked grilled chicken last Friday at the Bradenton, FL restaurant. I'm still thinking about it today because of how ill she felt until just a couple days ago. The undercooked chicken sickened my child. She had stomach issues for the next few days. We did bring it to our servers attention, it was taken off the bill and remade, but this was after I had already finished my meal, and my daughter was disgusted by what she had already eaten of the pink meat. She picked at the new chicken, but we left it sit right there completely turned off. We were also seated in the back of the restaurant by the server's computer which was the absolute worst place. Very busy, disruptive spot. One worker basically stood behind my head almost the entire time we were there. He even had some smack talk to say to a fellow server about the expected tip being short on their last table. Apparently, they made some kind of wager that $20 wouldn't be left. This made us so uncomfortable, compounding the fact that he was standing there like two feet from my head very nearly the whole time. I moved to sit next to my child on the other side of the table so we both were facing the worker because feeling his presence behind me was unnerving and made for an unenjoyable experience. Our server was very attentive as she was training someone, so service was fine, the pink meat was not her fault, but get it together, RL! Oh, and in case people haven't discovered it yet, they don't offer a side salad as one of your side choices to an entrée, one must now pay like upwards of 3 dollars for a small salad. If I could give zero stars I would. Over the last few months I've spent hundreds of dollars at this location and tonight was the final straw. I usually order online but for some reason this location has a habit of turning off online ordering and third party delivery. I drove 30 mins from Sarasota to pick up my order I called in. Upon arrival I was told they didn't have the order and it's the call centers fault. The manager on duty didn't even ask me if I wanted her to make my order till AFTER I left the building and called! Didn't even offer me any free biscuits! I've had issues with this location before but this was the last straw. I tried repeatedly to get in contact with the "call center" supervisor but I was told there wasn't one and was repeatedly transferred back to the store phone. I love the food here but the extreme lack of customer service is baffling to me. I won't be coming back to this location and working down the road from here I'll make sure that everyone I speak to also doesn't do business at this location. Absolutely appalling customer service. I am incredibly disappointed with my food. I asked for a basic fish and chips the basic of basic and some how they mess it up. When they handed me the plate I noticed something was wrong the what was supposed to be tartar sauce. Was looking suspicious so I went and cut up a pice of the dry fish and I dipped it in and he gave me coleslaw instead of it was cold and gross I asked for the right sauce and the unprofessional employee contested with me that is was the right sauce. I'm not stupid I know what tartar sauce tastes like. He went back into the kitchen and handed me another cup of coleslaw I was furious but when I looked over the employee was gone. After I finished my fry's I walked to the bathroom to wash the disappointment off my hands I went for the paper towel and both dispensers were empty. Overall our food was pretty ok but the service was EXCEPTIONAL!!! Eyvin who waited on our table was efficient, caring, and provided service well above our expectations. When he noticed my clam chowder and Cesar salad were left practically untouched he asked if there was something better he could bring me and even provided us a complimentary chocolate cake to end our meal. After going on the app to get on waiting list 40 minutes later we checked in and told the wait was 30-40 minute wait after 40 minutes they called my home phone . I went back and asked what the hold up was . We were seated no silverware Ordered an app . app came no drinks no plates to put the app on. Drinks came specifally asked for tea with lemon .NO LEMON NO REFILL.our silverware came. Finally was able to get a refill on ice tea ask for lemon no lemon . ordered refill on shrimp no cocktail or tarter sauce . Last month for my wifes birthday ate at Red Lobster in the villages we had salads with our meals .Now salads are extra . So i ordered rice with my meal .Our waitress took my rice and plate but left the stack of dirty dishes .Reorders took forever and were wrong . finally bill came and it was wrong . They did not take off the app which I had given her our code finally got the new ammended bill paid still left 18% despite the horrible service .No manager stopped by so I could explain my concerns . STAY FAR AWAY . The one in Sarasota closed I now understand why will not be returning to any Red Lobsters in my travels . There is a reason these companies fail . Shame on you .
