I rarely tip 20% or under but today she only earned that if even. I specifically asked for no cheese in my omelette and it was loaded. She didn't come back around until the meal was half over and her look told me she screwed up not the kitchen. The mixed greens that came with it were spoiled and had that musty moldy taste. For 2 breakfasts 40.00 is too much. I just can't and the subpar service, nope. read more

This month I celebrate my birthday so today we went to First Watch for breakfast! We were seated right away and greeted and our drink order was taken. I chose the spring menu item BEC without the spice with a side of fruit while my hubby got 2 pancakes! Food came in a very reasonable time and was nicely plated and hot! Everything tasted delicious and it's definitely a bonus when your birthday meal is BOGO! I had not been to a First Watch in a long time but we had driven 2.5 hrs to Sarasota and got there at about 11:30 so we felt brunch was the right choice for a meal! The place was not packed so we were seated right away. My teen had chocolate chip pancakes, my husband had french toast and I had eggs benedict. All 3 dishes were delicious and good portions. service terrible it was a bit busy and Saturday but could have a bit of hustle to get tables cleaned and people waiting seated. Food cold and terrible had the Barbacoa breakfast bowl soggy chips all tasted like the salsa on it, elwe all complained about the food being cold. Then after a 30 minute wait and terrible food we wanted to leave but waitress never came back to give us a check. Also had to pour our own water. Not a big deal but not sure what the purpose of going out is at this point. Avoid big chain! read more

We had breakfast this past Saturday morning at this location. I've eaten at First Watch a good 5-6 times over the past few years, but have not reviewed them yet. We had the egg's benne with ham and home fries, grits, and a chocolate chip pancake. Now for the eggs Benedict the eggs slightly overcooked but overall pretty good, the home fries were decent (wish they were a little softer), the grits had a unique cornbread taste which we both agreed were tasty, the pancake however was slightly burnt on the bottom, but hey maybe they made a mistake that day, I will try again in the future. There is a wealth of options on the menu. We typically get a large plates of eggs+vegetables, pancakes, oatmeal. We have eaten at dozens of first watch outlets from Jacksonville to Naples. Across all the outlets, the service is outstanding. The attention to detail is forethought . I am one who blames faults on management. In this case, I give credit to management. Came here this morning and place looks awesome after they had some construction done. Not sure what it looked like before it but it looks really awesome and clean. My burrito was good but the only thing I would suggest is for them to press the wrap so it doesn't have the full taste of it, that kind of took it away from what was inside it . Another great visit I do like First Watch restaurants and have managed to visit all of them in the area. I don't think I have been disappointed with a visit yet, and that streak continues. Our breakfast yesterday went great. We have learned to add our name to their online waitlist on Sundays, so when we arrived, they were almost ready to seat us. Our upbeat server got me started with coffee. I ordered my usual choice, their Parma Hash Skillet, which took about 15 minutes. I like this dish, it has lots of ingredients topped with a couple of eggs, a good amount of food. When you order coffee they leave a pitcher with you so you can top off your cup whenever you like. Ketchup bottles, which disappeared a couple of years ago, are back on the tables. By the time we were finished the check had already been dropped off, so no waiting to go pay at the register. Just another great visit. read more

She was really kind and friendly telling us her son had just turned two the day before. *DOWNLOAD THE APP* My friends and I had a 5k walk at Benderson Park and wanted a healthy breakfast afterwards. Once we finished, I jumped on the First Watch app to put our name on the waiting list. The app gave me an estimated time to arrive and check in (20mins). Great timing. We completed our cool down, loaded up and headed over. From there it was only an additional 5 mins! It was great! The staff was friendly, service was swift, and the food was delicious. Our table had healthy to savory options and everyone raved about their meal. This is a great little brunch spot. We've been in for both breakfast and lunch here and had a great experience each time. The place is spacious and always very clean, and the staff is friendly. Their breakfast menu is pretty standard, albeit more healthy than other chain restaurant breaky menus. This was my first time trying their lunch menu and I was impressed. The Monterey turkey club sandwich I had was excellent, and the kale salad on the side was straightforward but tasty. All of the ingredients taste fresh, not frozen, and make for a great healthy lunch option. The prices aren't half bad, either. read more

Our server said they would get it out quickly and explained that they were busy. However, looking around the dining room, there were only a handful of occupied tables and two servers working. Several nearby tables were simply having drinks, so it was difficult to understand the delay. What was most disappointing wasn't even the cold food--it was the lack of acknowledgment. A simple apology or some communication about the delay would have gone a long way toward improving the experience. I understand that servers aren't responsible for cooking the food, but they do pass the service window regularly. If food has been sitting under the heat lamps for several minutes waiting on other items, someone should be checking on it or having it remade before it reaches the customer. We were hoping to add this restaurant to our list of regular dining spots, but based on this visit, it unfortunately didn't make the cut.

Wow, this place is absolutely amazing! I got to taste their lemon ricotta pancake and boy, was I blown away! The pancake itself was so light and fluffy, but what really took it to the next level was the addition of small ricotta cheese inside, along with a lemon cream and strawberries on top.
