Definitely the cleanest and newest Waffle House I've been to. Easy going and attentive staff served it up hot and fresh as always!

Unexcitingly great! Small in size great in flavor. They get it right. We were greeted immediately by Niquara with a welcoming and warm smile. She made us feel like family. She helped make decisions about our order and was super attentive. Now, let's talk about the food, Wow, just wow. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted wonderful. Even the coffee was great. If you like good breakfast food and want to feel at home, I highly recommend this Waffle House.

1st stop on our road trip and two hours in, we were excited to see a familiar sign like a beacon in the storm...no storm unless you count my growling tummy. We walked in and were immediately greeted and told to sit wherever. I made a beeline for the restroom which was very clean. Upon sitting we were again greeted by Ericka, our server and given menus to look over. The menu is pretty straightforward, waffles, of course, eggs, hashbrowns and toast as far as breakfast goes. Mom opted for a hashbrown bowl with bacon, egg and cheese country style (covered in gravy). While I chose a Texas toast bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. I forgot how fun it is to hear the server call out your order to the cook who is literally a few feet from you cooking up deliciously simple meals with skill and precision. Our plates were brought over quickly and everything tasted wonderful. We both took half with us to enjoy later as we continued down the highway and they were just as tasty an hour or so later! Happy dining!

As far as Waffles House goes this was a good one. Food was great and the staff is friendly. Only complaint was the tables were dirty.

Not all Waffle Houses are greasy spoons, but this on is a greasy spoon. If you're on 75S skip this one.

Blue Grill in High Springs is one of those local restaurants that deserves to be recognized and…read moreappreciated! We really enjoy coming here, and every visit reminds us why we keep coming back. It's hard to find a restaurant where you can get breakfast, lunch, or dinner anytime, and have the food consistently be this good. The waitresses are always friendly, pleasant, and efficient. You can tell they work hard, but they still take the time to make you feel welcome. Our food comes out quickly and hot, which is especially nice when you're hungry! And the food is just delicious. The portions are generous--definitely enough to leave you satisfied--and the prices are very reasonable. In a time when restaurant prices seem to keep going up, it's wonderful to find a place where you can get a really good meal, a generous portion, great service, and still feel like you got your money's worth. Blue Grill has that special local, hometown feeling that is becoming harder and harder to find. It's the kind of place you want to support because the people are friendly, the food is good, and you know you're going to have a good experience. If you're in High Springs and haven't tried Blue Grill, you really should! We highly recommend it and are happy to support such a wonderful local restaurant.

The menu is pretty standard for a diner style restaurant, with heavy emphasis in the morning for omelettes, then your usual burgers and other homestyle goodies in the afternoon and evening. I went for the Texas burger, asking for it to be cooked medium. What I got was more rare, bordering on blue. Not a good start. The fries that came with it were predictably SysCo style fries. No proof that they were actually provided by such, but they definitely had the style. Staff were friendly, and the seating at the bar was comfortable. Realistically, I don't see myself going back any time soon, unless a group of people invite me to go. It is a bit of a trek from Gainesville, so going specifically to eat there is not in the cards.

You walk in pay for your buffet , and sit where you like . Real casual dining experience. The only negative thing i experienced was the dessertb, they were out of both cobblers for a little bit , didnt want to wait l,so tried a piece of each of the cakes they had in bowls. Chocolate Cake wasn't bad, butbwhat i believe to pineapple cake or something was very dry no flavor. I dont go to buffets for the deserts, so..the chicken an the rest of the food made up for the issue. A closer to home buffet , they did have a sign up for all you can eat crab legs on Sat 3-7pm.

The desserts were on a table in the back and were pre cut so I imagine they were dried out. I found an empty pan where there was supposed to have been a hot cobbler but it was not filled while we were there. The waitress was friendly and attentive. When I went up the first time there was no shrimp and I was very disappointed. I tried the fried chicken but it wasn't that good. The veggies I tried were good. Some were fresh and some were not. The second time I went up there was shrimp so I felt a lot better about the dinner. The shrimp were done well and the sauce I found was good. The atmosphere is homey/country and nothing fancy. I only saw tables but there was another room that I didn't go in so it might have had some other kind of seating. It's as expensive as the larger buffet's , even with a senior discount, which was a surprise. Tea is an extra charge, so I can't comment on that. I would give it another try if in the area again.

The coffee shop is bright, pretty spacious and had pretty moderate noise, great enough for some remote work. There's also an outdoor patio, however it's too hot to sit outside right now. While waiting I got a chance to look around the shop and they some cute swag and gift boxes for your tea or coffee lover friends or self. The first sip of the Honey Badger - I was in heaven, wow. This iced coffee had the perfect amount of sweetness from the vanilla and honey, with a kiss of cinnamon. I can see why this a favorite. The traditional meat pie was really good and not heavy. The only thing I didn't like is the crust was very salty. Thankfully, the hot sauce which was a sweet spice completely the tomato based flavors of the meat pie. I look forward to stopping by to satisfy my Honey Badger fix!
