I cannot say enough about this place. If you like Flame Broiler, you're going to love this place. Their hot sauce is AMAZING! I pretty much go for that reason alone. I used to only go to Flame Broiler before I found this place. Nothing Fancy here. Tried the chicken and steak plate and it was very good and decent size portions for the price. The place is very clean so they must have learned from prior Yelpers. Only thing that was a turn off was the order taker was dressed inappropriate wearing gray shorts...very short with her pink underpants showing and others were wearing company uniforms of long black pants. This lady was also not very customer friendly just a order taker barking orders and confirming orders are right. Ordered for 4 and had the combo bowl with beef and chicken. This was just dry and horrible. The chicken was very dry with little teriyaki sauce while the beef was a thin and dry mystery meat. I'm not sure if they used a reasonable amount of sauce if this would be good. I couldn't save it with soy sauce. My 87 year old dad choked on it and needed a little Heimich thrust. I'm working late and figure I would drop by WaBa Grill in Corona, grab something to eat and then leave. It's just after 8:00PM and they have the wet floor cone in front of the Cash Register. I think I'm fine because they don't close until 9:00 PM and it should not take me more than 15 minutes. Wrong! As soon as I sit down to eat, they start placing the chairs on top of the tables. No problem for me since I have a seat. When the employee started mopping the floor right in front of me I tried to ignore it while viewing the news on my phone. Unfortunately, the disinfectant smell from the mop was just too pungent to ignore. I got up and threw away the rest of my meal and drink. I noticed another review here by Hugo C. and he has a similar problem. We usually purchase their food at lunch time when the employees and management are their to serve. In the evening their focus appears to be on closing. The sooner they can kick you out the better and it sure did work for me. I agree with Hugo, they are closing before 9:00 PM. But, if they changed their closing schedule to 8:00 PM as Hugo recommended, they would probably start their closing process at 7:00 Pm. LOL! I don't plan to return to this WaBa Grill because I can still smell that stinky mop. I needed a quick meal and I made a decision between the Subway shop next door and WaBa Grill. So since I posted my last review, I had a work meeting and needed to order chicken bowls for 10 people. I asked they write the names on each bowl so I would know which bowl is for each person. The manager at this WaBa Grill told me they could not do this because they don't have enough time or staff on hand to do this. I pleaded with him as I just needed to place the order. He refused. I cancelled the order and called the next closest WaBa Grill and they were more than happy to write the names on the bowls. read more

This place is DE-LISH! The friendly staff will always serve you with a smile. And the location is very close to the 91-15 freeway junction, perfect for stopping by after work. However I was surprised to see that the chicken bowl did not come with veggies and green onions and apparently you have to specify which is partly my fault since I should have told them it was my first time. NOROVIRUS!!!! I decided to take my lunch hour at this location. The employee at the register looked mean and unfriendly. I ordered white chicken with vegetables. When I received my order I noticed my chicken is dark meat. I checked with the employee and notified her that it is not what I ordered. Her response was to look at the girl at the register and told her you didn't charge her for white meat!! There was no apology or no communication with me just a discussion between them to see if she charged me or not. I had to interrupt them and let them know that I'm willing to pay and please process my order. The guy in the back changed my chicken with the ones that were already on the white board. I ate half of my half burnt chicken and went back to work. Around 4 o'clock I started feeling sick in my stomach. I ended up to have severe vomiting, diarrhea, and fever by the end of the night. I couldn't go to work for two days. I received NOROVIRUS by contaminated food!! I will definitely report them to health department.
