I'm here for my 50th birthday. Despite having no idea of that fact, the weekend breakfast staff has made me feel like royalty. Excellent coffee, beautiful and tasty food, glorious view, and EXCELLENT service. I love this place.

Went there for a 30th birthday, got the window seat. Chicken sandwich and wings were amazing. Steaks and scallops were good and shrimp was okay.

    Gross pizza.

Menu looked promising with good options but when we got our food we were more than disappointed, our burger was charred and our pizza looked like it was reheated from yesterday and was still cold. our server was no where to be seen most of the dinner while being one of 2 tables in the whole restaurant. very disappointing and very gross, not worth the money.

Second ribeye- Ordered medium rare, served partially frozen.

Was super excited to try a new place in the area. Service and view were great, food was a huge disappointment. Ordered some appetizers and they were alright. Then we ordered a medium rare ribeye, and a medium rare filet mignon. Both were served well done. They looked like pork chops. I've never sent food back before, but this was the one time I felt it was necessary. They brought us two new steaks, which are pictured below. Both were very cold and firm to the touch. Likely still frozen. We will not be back.

We stayed at Superior Shores Resort, and had the chance to dine at Silver Creek. This was an amazing experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the service was amazing. The food was impeccable, and we are so happy we went! Well worth the cost!

Food 5/5 - This is a hidden upscale gem for the area! We were pleasantly surprised with all the food looks and taste wise. Everything we ordered was great! Service / Ambiance 5/5 - The staff were incredibly friendly and most are exchange students so it was great to chat with them. The ambiance of the restaurant is very elegant and classy. Definitely will be returning to this restaurant on our next trip up north.

I can't believe there is this caliber of restaurant in Northern Minnesota! We dined here for my boyfriend's birthday and it was definitely worth while. We shared the venison carpaccio for an appetizer and it was mouthwatering. I went with the lobster corn chowder for my entree and it actually shocked me just how perfect the lobster was cooked, i've dined at Michelin starred restaurants that haven't cooked their lobster this well. My boyfriend got the wild boar ribs and he loved them. We also shared a side of risotto and the lobster hasselback potato which were both delicious. The view is stunning and the whole vibe of Silver Creek Chophouse is so romantic. It's a big dining room so you don't feel like you're eating right next to other people. The service was wonderful as well, they even gave my boyfriend a free 7 layer cake for a birthday dessert! We will be dining here any time we are in town.

Food, service, and ambiance were all good. It was nice to see some vegetable options in two harbors. The burger was just fine. The truffle fries lacked a little in truffle flavor. They were some of the crispiest fries we've ever had so even if lacking a little in flavor they were good. The beet Wellington was delicious. Cocktails were great. They had a lot of flavor and very well balanced. Overall, would recommend trying this hidden gem out!

Definitely the best restaurant I've visited while being in Minnesota for winter vacation! Our server Armando was super professional and welcoming. Armando gave us great suggestions from the menu which made our experience even better. We've tried duck dish, wagyu steak, backed potato with lobster and shrimps. The portions of food definitely worth the price. Overall, will definitely come back!

Let me start off by saying that this restaurant is quite beautiful and the view is pretty exquisite. There are several reasons for my 3-star review, though, and I do wish I could give this place a higher rating because our server was lovely. But the fact that it took our dinner over one HOUR to get to our table is pretty unacceptable. The venison carpaccio didn't taste like much. Taking a bite of the venison, a piece of arugula and some sauce, all you could taste was the arugula. As for the oysters, they were also mediocre. Expected an explosion in my mouth since they were $30. I have never had a piece of zabuton steak so I asked the server what he and the chef would recommend, since it is quite a fatty piece of meat. Medium - medium rare was suggested so I asked for medium rare. When my steak arrived, it was BLUE rare. 2 seconds away from being raw. I highly dislike sending my food back but there's no way I could eat an almost-raw piece of meat. Between meals, our server came by with snacks from the kitchen. I didn't see him do this to anyone else, so I had an inkling this was the reason our meal took over one hour to get to us. Perhaps our orders weren't placed? The kitchen messed up? Unsure. But I don't think I'll get over the fact that we sat down around 7:45pm and didn't leave until 10:15 or so. If I'm in the area again, I MAY give this place another shot, because having tried my husband's filet, that was the selling point. Happy they got 2/4 orders correct.

We were chauffeured from Duluth to this destination restaurant by our friends. We were cheerfully seated by smiling staff that were also very well dressed and mannered. Wonderful ambience, modern décor and comfortable seating. MaîtreD Sergio, who is also the restaurant manager visited us at our table. Being this was our first visit to the newly remodeled chophouse we had a long interaction and he was most helpful. The entry area has climate controlled glass wine room with wonderful wine selections, moderately to high priced. Our servers, Dianna and Myla were very cheerful and helpful. We pounded them with intriguing questions about their employment past. The menu was filled with intriguing selections and set up as a la carte. I would suggest that the menu has something for all and including those that are more adventurous. Menu selections I would describe as American eclectic. The four of us made different selections so that we could get the full understanding of the menu architecture. An amuse was presented prior to the first serving which was a very nice touch. Starter choices were presented with nice presentations. A framboise sorbet was presented and again nice touch. The main dishes arrived with other a la carte additions. Wonderful prestation. Head chef Andre paid us a visit tableside and therefor we questioned him at length. Born in Birmingham, worked in Greensburg and in South Africa. As with all the staff are non-native to the area. Great dining experience for fine dining in this tucked away part of Minnesota. A wonderful setting on the Northshore of Lake Superior. In summation: Great staff and well trained. Nice setting including interior. Comfortable seating. A bit pricy for north of the Metro. Linen tablecloths would be preferred. Another concern is keeping the staff after the season. Non of them being from MN and had not experienced a winter they might get cold feet. Haha.

This building is also connected internally by a second-story walkway. The staff was friendly as usual, and the always stocked popcorn, ice-cold tea and lemonade in the lobby, is always a treat. Unlike other of your experienced, when evening rolled around, there were fires lit at all three locations, including the one all the way down on the beach. I will say with this being the first time stay in the annex for me. That building in particular seems a little bit more outdated than others. Including some disrepair like a cracked window that was scotch taped back together. Between the really low counter and shower head there was some mild annoyance as well. The interior pool area is also in need of some maintenance. But the outdoor pool deck still feels amazing! Another slight draw back from this stay was the key card annoyance. Even though there is a promising NFC looking logo on the cards, these are still the old magstrip style that most hotels have moved away from. If you have a MagSafe equipped iPhone 12 from 2020 or newer and you place your keycard in the same pocket by mistake it will nuke your keycard on a heartbeat and you'll have to take a trip to the front desk to regain access to your room. Overall I've made some great memories here over the years and will continually plan to return.

Beds were rough -so no one got a good nights sleep. The air conditioner was not keeping up so my husband (HVAC) opened it to find a filter that was so full it wouldn't let the air through. He went to the front desk and asked for it to be cleaned. They bring us a new filter and my husband put it in. Very humid in the room. That night we did 's'mores on the beach' - I realize they were 'free' but the Graham crackers were stale. We did not eat at the property as it seemed a skosh high. For the price of two nights - $603 02 - I was expecting a little more Or a discount for the air conditioner inconvenience. The lady that checked us out was not as friendly as the original gals.. For a family weekend - it was a bust.

I've heard of this pizza place several times and have been meaning to give it a try. My dad and I walked in and we were greeted by a very pleasant and polite gal who made us feel right at home immediately. I didn't have my readers so I couldn't see the menu and just ordered a sausage and pepperoni pizza. The place had a nice vibe and while she was making pizzas the gal was still interacting with us. The pizza came out of the oven and served in about 15 minutes. Piping hot and cooked just enough on the well done side to be perfect. The first bite burned my mouth, my fault for not waiting. Each bite after that was amazing. The pizza crust was thin, crunchy, but light and airy almost. I've not experienced that type of crust before. The sauce had a distinct flavor that was top notch and the sausage was flavorful but not overbearing. I looked at my dad and said this is probably the best pizza I've ever had. He said the same thing. Highly recommend this place if you're stopping in Two Harbors, passing through or just decide to drive up like we will be doing next week to try another.

Unfortunately when I arrived there was no greeting from any of the numerous staff. The two front desk employees were very busy with their registers and the phone, and it was 5 minutes before I was able to speak to someone. The main lady was a bit short with me, (and I saw her be much shorter with other customers). They were really busy, so I can sympathize with the stress, but some more manners would have went a long way. Unfortunately my pickup time was 15 minutes later than the ETA I was given online. When it came to the pizza itself though, they really delivered! It's possibly the best BBQ Chicken pizza I've had, even though I was surprised by the inclusion of dill pickles. If you're a pizza fan visiting the north shore it's definitely worth considering this place!

We had a much longer wait for pie at Betty's, and were lucky to get a parking place at all. It was mobby, and it wasn't even the weekend! There was about a 10 minute wait to order at the outdoor window, and a 15-20 wait for our slices. Most of the people ahead of us seemed to be getting pie shakes. In addition to the apple pie slice, we bought a toffee cream one. We ate it soon after our visit. It was delicious. The pale crust reminded me of shortbread, the filling light, sweet, and creamy, with what seemed to be Heath bits throughout. It was great and surprisingly not filling at all. As for the apple pie comparison, Betty's version was more cohesive a crust and easier to eat, but it was also surprisingly bland. The thicker crust at the edge was dry, too. The fillings from both bakeries were quite close, both good. From Betty's, we liked the cream pie slice much more than the apple. For classic double-crust apple, Rustic was best between the two.
