When I went in VS Nails everything seemed perfectly normal. I was only going in for a simple gel pedicure. The man sat me down and handed me a book with all their services. I looked through the book and just did the basic, regular gel pedicure which had a cost next to it of $35. The lady immediately started doing my nails and everything was great. I asked her to do a french and that was all. By the time she was finished I was pleased with how they turned out, so I go to pay. At this point I'm waiting for a $40-$50 check, but was horrified when the man told me that my gel pedicure was upwards of $63 and then $73 with tip. I have never had a pedicure that cost so much, it was ridiculous. Although my nails looked good, I can go anywhere and be pleased with a simple french pedicure. No one should ever pay this much to get their toes done. read more

Worse mani/pedi I've ever had today!! Not sure what happened to this place. I've been going to VS nails for the past 3 years. It used to be very good with well established technicians. All that's there now is very inexperienced young ladies. My nails are so short that I can't even feel a nail at the end of my fingers. I can't even move the on/off button on my computer mouse. After the mani and the pedi, she got out the file again and filed some more, so that each nail now has white showing at the end instead of polish. I'll be looking for a new nail salon next time. read more

My sister and I went to get dip powder nails and Cindy did beautifully on hers, but mine was where things started going south. I wanted a simple flower for my accent nail and Daniel, the guy doing my mani, could not figure out how to do it! He made a few attempts trying to get it right but after like 20 mins with no success gave up and I ended up getting no nail art. Also they were very short staffed and Daniel was on the phone while doing my nails, making appointments etc. Overall a pretty stressful experience and very frustrating with the nail art. Also, I got white dip powder and the gel top coat is already turning them yellow and it's been 30 mins. They get 3 stars for my sisters nails but none for mine, and it took over 2 hours to get done. UPDATE: my sister's nail art rubbed off after 2 days and my white nails are most definitely yellow now. read more

THIS PLACE IS TERRIBL. They undercharge their workers with only 90 a day for working 7+ hours. IT IS INSANE. and the money for the nails goes to the Asian owners and not to the workers. only tips does!! I also called earlier that day "victor" said 45 for the type I wanted. This salon changed staff several times in the year I have been going there. It was always a good salon to go to but my last visit was horrible and I won''t return. My feet and toes are scraped and bleeding from the ruff exfoliation. The cuttle cutter needs sharping because they pulled the skin off rather than cut it. (Very painful). If I could give zero stars I would. The worst acrylic nails I've ever gotten. They're dented and chunky. I asked for a completely different shape. I tried multiple times to ask my technician to correct the shape and how chunky they are and they didn't. Or couldn't. Huge waste of my time and money. I've had somewhere between 25 - 50 sets of acrylic nails before and I've had bad sets. I've never had anything as bad as these. I'm amazed. It's almost impressive how bad they are. read more

If I could give it zero stars I would. My mom and I went here Saturday for a spa day to get our nails done. She got dip, and I got dip with extensions. They looked great for the next day. Flash forward to Wednesday, 4 out of my 10 nails were broken and ripped off (not by purpose). My moms nails are completely chipped and cracked. I went back today to get them taken off, because I didn't need to pay to get them redone if they're just going to break again. The process starts with filing down the dip, and then usually cutting the extensions to prep for acetone. Instead of cutting the extensions, he ripped them off my nails, bringing one of my real nails with it. It completely ripped my real nail to the point of it bleeding. And on top of all of this, I was still expected to pay the $10 removal fee. I am not happy, and needless to say my mom and I will never be coming back here. read more

This was my first time using VS nail salon. I was very disappointed. Nail tech was inexperienced and unprofessional. I had dip nails that had to be done twice before I decided to leave. They looked so thick they did not even have the shape of a real nail. Went back next day because of all the negative comments of how they looked. The reception argued and justified by saying they were busy. Finally she decided with my urging to soak of and start over and then passed me off to the manager to finish the job. After all was said and done i was surprised more wasn't done to earn my business and rectify the situation, wether it be compensation or a discount towards my next service. Clean location that is open on Sunday! I was so happy to find this gem of a place. I was in desperate need of a mani-pedi and in Naples all of the facilities were closed on Sunday even Walmart's Salon. The manicurist wore a mask and they took other safety precautions. This nail salon is beautiful and very clean, but I had a terrible experience here. To start, my manicurist was very slow. It took 2+ hours for a regular pedicure and a gel manicure. VS is also pretty pricey for a nail salon in a strip mall in the middle of Florida. But the worst part of my experience was the terrible infection and nail damage I got after I left. I already had a damaged cuticle and asks the manicurist to be gentle. In trying to push my cuticles back, she jabbed me with the tool and broke the nail way underneath the bed. My finger/nail got so infected that it would puss daily (see photo). Once I finally got rid of the infection and as the nail grew out it was clear that it was broken under the nail bed. It's been about a month now and my nail is completely damaged (see photo) and I'm just waiting for it to grow out. I have to soak it twice daily, clean with peroxide, apply triple antibiotic ointment, and keep it bandaged at all times. If I lived in Florida, I would go and ask for a refund. But I don't so all I can do is warn you. read more

I will not be back. i had a pedicure this morning. the water was too hot...I couldn't even put my feet in. I told the young man, he turned on cool water...for about two seconds. Still burning hot. He again turned on cool very briefly. He seemed very annoyed, but I still couldn't keep my feet in. Finally he proceeded with a very Spartan pedi. When he went to put the polish on, the jar was dried up. He brought back to me a substitute, but it was way too o range. (I had chosen a pinkish coral). He directed me to make a second choice, same thing! It was an empty bottle. I can't imagine an employee putting empty bottles back on the shelf. He then brought me a substitute, and it is a very orange color. i get pedis fo the relaxation as well as the polish. This was the worst pedicure experience ever. read more

I went to vs nail salon today and had the worst pedicure And mani ever. The nail technician did not want to do my nails. I have short nails from opening 50 boxes or so from moving. They talked constantly. Not relaxing at all. She was sniffling the whole time. I have never had a manicure where the y don't cream your hands and give you some type of massage. I waited three visits before I did this review. Sometimes you leave a nail salon and your nails look great but shortly after they chip and lift. Not the case here. Eva does a great job on my nails and they stay perfect for 3 to 4 weeks. The salon is extremely clean, the service is impeccable And a shoulder massage while your nails dry. The service I received was terrible and I didn't even step into the salon. I can't Imagine what they are like to deal with for the actual servicing. I called to get a gift certificate for my mom and I live in Virginia. I had to call 3 times and kept being told to speak with a manager. Worst nail salon ever. Have been going there for 3 years now and even through all the changes of owners I have been a loyal customer. Manager/Owner said I could use my stamp card that i had from the previous owners and he said it was fine. Well clearly it wasn't and the gentleman who helped me was rude when I tried to tell him I was using it..said I could only use it for a scalp massage after the Owent/manager signed his name on the card approving it. STAY AWAY. First time here I had an appointment to have shellac removed and to get a regular manicure. The lady with short black hair was SO rude. She not only had a bad attitude, but when she tried to use a nail drill on my REAL nails to remove the shellac and I said no, she and another nail technician proceeded to argue with me in front of customers. First of all, the customer is always right and second of all nail drills should only be used on acrylic nails. Don't walk, RUN away from any salon who tries to remove shellac with a drill. read more

The owner "shamed" me for asking for a gel manicure and kept pushing the "powder dip" manicure. He kept complaining as he removed my gel polish that the gel ruins your nails and the dip is so much better.
