Rude staff. They keep speaking Vietnamese among them. Lee, the owner is selective on who to provide service to. She's racist and uneducated. I am a customer who always paid in cash with a 20 per cent tip. My Tech was always kind, considerate and helpful. I can't say the same for the person who makes the appointments. I had a shellac manicure at Lovely Nails in Naples yesterday and the service was great!! Donna did a beautiful job with my nails and took her time. The salon is amazing and very clean. Went in for a pedicure and decided upon the deluxe option rather than the basic. A difference of $35 or $45. The pedicure lasted 45 minutes, the massage was barely notable, underneath the nail bed was not even touched ...With all that being said the tech was very sweet. I went to check out and at the time of checkout they informed me that my pedicure was a total of $60 because I got gel polish. Never once was that disclosed to me during the conversation. shame on me for not looking for the fine print. I would've rather had the basic and given more of a tip to the tech only because again she was very sweet. There was absolutely no difference in this "deluxe" pedicure than any other pedicure I've had elsewhere. I will blame the lack of service on the training of the salon owners. This salon is overpriced. By the time I got done tipping, my bill was $72 for what I would consider a basic pedicure. I don't mind paying if the service matches the cost. Needless to say, I will not be returning. There are better options in Naples. read more

I went in for a Mani Pedi with my mom. First, the water was so scorching hot when I put my feet in I couldn't believe it. Then when it came to cleaning up my cuticles, it hurt. Next, it came to scrubbing my feet. I kindly asked for him to work on my calluses and he had no idea what he was doing. He did not scrub my feet for even 10 seconds. And he didn't even scrub my feet with the rough side of the tool... he just started cutting my skin off with the cuticle clipper. I couldn't believe it. At this point I knew it was bad. I didn't want to be rude so I said thank you that's good enough. After all of that, the paint job was horrendous. A 10 year old could have painted my toes better. At the end I changed my mind about a manicure. There was no way I could risk him botching my finger nails. I wish I never paid. I learned my lesson not to be passive. I never felt so admonished and insulted in front of the whole Salon because I nicked my nails and had to be retouched. I felt like a school child being scolded by the teacher. So infuriated by Jimmy. I've gone to this salon for a few years, I always ask for him. A few months ago I went to get a Pedi and at the end I made a comment "oh, it's over so fast?" I meant I enjoyed the foot pamper and it went by too quickly. Jimmy got very upset because he thought I meant he didn't spend enough time on my Pedi. I never implied that even remotely. He went on to tell me that he always spent 45 min. I told him he totally misunderstood me, not what I meant at all. I proceeded to go dry my toes and then the lady owner comes and admonished me once more, what? I re-explained the misunderstanding. When I was done I went back to Jimmy and told him how sorry I was he didn't get what I said. I was really annoyed/hurt by the way they reacted to the whole thing. I reasoned with myself, they're of a different culture, English not primary, etc. I decided to try again today and asked for Jimmy. Everything was great, I always make conversation, make them feel I'm interested, ask about family, etc. all good until he finished and took me to the 'drying' station. He was putting my polish in my purse and I asked him to just leave it in the counter, I moved my hand and I got a nick on my nail. He got very annoyed and said "just keep your hands flat, don't you know how to do that?". I kept saying sorry. The nail polish he used on my nails, one I chose from their supply was old and quite thick. On second coat he had to thin it out. In the end 2 coats of under and top coats plus 2 coats of an overly thick/dryer polish took way longer to dry. I took my hands out to see if they were dry and wouldn't you know, I nicked one again. He was working on someone else, when I walked over to him he blew it. He admonished me over and over, telling me that I don't listen, that I was taking time from the customer he was working on. He brought over the polish and I asked is that the one? I turned it around. He told me "you don't trust me, you don't listen to me". I had enough, I told him not yo finish the nail and I would never return. For me to be posting this is because I felt insulted. I tip over the norm, I'm always attentive to make whoever feel like I appreciate their work. Today, the line was crossed. I'm patronizing a business which unfortunately do not have finesse and don't care about customer satisfaction. I would NEVER recommend them again. read more

First and LAST trip to this NOT SO LOVELY NAIL SALON. Came in for a gel fill and asked the technician to clean the FILTHY UV light. She was annoyed and proceeded to speak (about me, I'm sure) in her language. After I took my hands out of the UV light, she proceeded to wipe the gel with the same dirty paper towel she used to clean the UV light.!!!! I wasn't wearing my eyeglasses, but when I got home, I noticed that the gel wasn't even covering my entire nail and the filing was all uneven! I will have to go back to my regular salon to have them redone. FILTHY, RUDE AND HORRIBLE JOB!! Does the Florida Board of Health not monitor Nail Salons???? read more

I have been going to Lovely Nails for three years. Jimmy is the best, takes his time and does an excellent job on both manis and pedis, so if you are not willing to spend the time there, he is not your guy. His hand and arm massage after nails, and his foot and leg massage keep me coming back. Hope he never retires!!!! read more

My hubby and I each had the delux spa pedicure today and are both pleased with the results. They did a great job and our feet look and feel great. They may cost a little more than some salons but you definitely get what you pay for, it was worth it. I will definitely go back if I return to Naples again in the future. read more

While the people seem friendly, I can say this was not necessarily a good experience. I understand salons get busy but my pedicure was so rushed she was literally yanking and pulling my feet in and out of the water very quickly (as my nails soaked for way too long in foil) to get me done, noting I was paying for the most expensive pedicure. I was cut on the finger by the drill and also I was cut during my pedicure. I also did a French manicure with dipping powder and the lines between the white in the clear were very messy. read more

STAY AWAY!!! 1. They have you make an appointment. When you get there they "always" tell you that they "messed up" and you'll have to wait. i ended up waiting 1 hour for an appointment i had already set in stone several days before. 2. They did this (above) to me three times. 3. They did the same thing to my friend. 4. They clearly have an advertisement that tells you you get "x" amount of dollars off when you spend "x" amount of dollars. e.g. $2 off a $25 purchase; $5 off a $50 purchase and so on.... This was honored for my friend, but not me. I have disputed my credit card the entire tip, plus the "money off" i was supposed to get for mentioning their website advertisement. For a $5 error, that they refused to correct, they've lost two excellent customers. Plus, they use the same brush to scrub everyone's feet/callouses. Gross. Contacting the Health Department next. And to make matters even worse, the technician, Lee, cut my husband's foot during his pedicure. I/we will not return. They need us; We don't need them! read more

I am not going back. Prolonged squabbling and bickering between a woman, who was doing my nails, and man. I perceived them to be the owners. It was quite uncomfortable. The woman did not listen to me as to what I wanted and was unpleasant to deal with, alway answering with irritation in her voice. While she was doing my nails she stopped many times to answer the phone and make appoints in a schedule she kept at her side. It was obvious that she was the controller of appts. More then a couple of these interruptions were not brief either. It was just a rude and disrespectful to me. I was very first uncomfortable with the bickering and then angry with the situation. Thief's , dishonest , WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!! I purchased a $100 gift card for my mom , 50$ was spent . Remaining balance of $50 should've been on the card , instead .30 cents was left remaining. When my mother went to pay , she did so with the gift card and left a cash tip since they only accept cash tips only. they person who checked out my mother gave her a different gift card with the supposedly $50 but instead gave a .30 cents gift card with no receipt to my mother taking a $49 dollar tip from an old lady, who still believes human decency still exist. read more

Not so Lovely Nails, unfortunately! :-/ I went to "Lovely Nails" earlier this week to do a manicure and pedicure. I should have consulted my trusty Yelp app for reviews prior to walking in because had I done that, I could have avoided an unpleasant and un-relaxing experience. I was stressed the entire time unlike my experiences at other nail salons. First, the place wasn't clean... the towels they used under my feet for the pedicure came complete with stains on them already before we even started. Second, I was worried the entire time that I was exposing myself to all types of bacteria and fungus from the looks of the bowl to put your feet in, the sink to wash my hands in, the floor to walk on, the bathroom, and the utensils they used to file and buff my toenails. Third, their prices are similar to what you'd pay at a wayyyy more cleanly and way more skilled nail salon. For all of these reasons, I will never go back to the so called "Lovely Nails" salon again. They should change their name to Not so Lovely Nails as that would be more fitting advertisement. Sorry to be so harsh but yeah when a nail salon isn't clean, that's the absolute worst. Oh, and to add insult to injury, my manicure was already peeling off after two days. I was there no more than 3 days ago. read more

The man that did my nails was the husband of the owner I asked nicely if I could get them fixed because there was hair in the paint and they weren't filed. The husband and the owner yelled at me for not telling them earlier. I asked if I could have a refund because I had been there for two hours and they threatened to call the police on me. First time, they did a good job, but the man doing my nails was mocking me. Whenever I'd say something, he would make fun of me in his language using the exact same tone as me. I decided to give them another chance months later - last time. The woman doing my nails yelled at a customer on the phone, and when the woman came in yelled at her again in front of everyone because she wasn't sure whether her previous nail job was acrylics or a dip. And she did not do a great job on my nails - very wavy and you can see the ridge where the tips meet the nail. I decided to let it go based on her anger management issues. The place down the street near the Publix on Collier and Rattlesnake is better and the people are nicer. read more

I would not recommend... the first time I ever came here I did a pedicure and I was seated but the lady didn't start on me until almost 30 minutes later. As I was in my seat I noticed the towel she was going to be using on me was dirty/used on the person prior without it being washed. I gave the place a second chance but went for an eyebrow waxing. The lady that did my brows claims that "I moved" but I didn't and the left of my eyebrow was almost all waxed off. She gave me a very very used eyebrow pencil that was not even close to my shade. I've been to tons of nail salons and I have never been as disrespected like I was at this nail salon by the owner! I told her exactly what I wanted politely and she thought her way would be better. Again I repeated what it was I wanted and she told me I should just go back to where I got my nails done before and have them do it! I've been coming to Lovely Nails for probably over a year. I was recommended by a friend to try them out. After all this time consistently coming in every 3 to 4 weeks sometimes twice in a month. I think I deserved better customer service than I last received. Originally I received aryclic pink and white ombré full set that cost me $50. 3 weeks later I came in for a refill. The owners wife, who did the full set for me. Told me it would be $30 for a refill if I wanted ombré and $20 for a regular polish change refill. I come in 3 weeks later to get my refill and a pedicure. My pedicure was fine as usual. When I sat down to get my refill, I received the worse customer service ever. This was from the owners wife, needless to remind you. I asked her to removed my cuticles and she said it would be an additional $5 for my cuticles to be cut. She said cuticles are included in manicures only. I of coursed questions her, because for as long as I been getting my nails done this was always included in the refill service. So, you telling me all the nail salons I been to was cutting my cuticles complimentary? Mind you she didn't cut my cuticles when she first did my full set so this was my friendly way of reminding her. She then brings out the pink powder and I told her I don't want the pink powder I just want the regular simple refill, hits why the OPI color was brought to the table by the pedicurist. She didn't remove the powder as I asked her to. She said if I wanted the powder to be removed. She would charge me again as if I was receiving a brand new full set. Which was a lie again. Finally, I was exhausted of someone trying to take full financial advantage of me. I then said I need to try a new salon because it's not worth it. She then proceeded to tell me I could leave now. After she only shaped my nails and didn't even clean the bottom of my nails which I pointed out at that very moment. I told her, she was losing her mind (which she was) and she would finish my nails. Filled only the space in between my nails, painted over my ombré which she charged me $20 dollars for, basically a polish change. She put one coat of polish and then proceeded to ask me if I wanted a second coat. Excuse me... duhh!! It always been base, 2 coats and then top coat. I went in the very next day because I messed up a couple nails that didn't completely dry. She immediately said it was going to cost me. Didn't even let me finish or see what the issue was to begin with. I refuse to argue with her again, asked one of the manicurist to fix it for me, sat down and dried my nails. Before I left I asked what was the price, her husband said no charge. Mind you, I came in multiples before to fix smug polish the very next day and NEVER she said it was an up charge or every tried to charge me for this. I never negotiated prices or ask for a "free" service but simply wanted her to fulfill the price of the service provided. Nor do/did they have $5 price for cuticles on their big board of pricing at the entrance of the store. I felt impelled to share my experience especially after having such a long report with them. They lost a regular paying/tipping customer because the co-owner wanted to be greedy for no reason. read more
