Vincenzo is THE BEST. My mom and sister and I have been going to him for almost 4 years now! The fact that he did hair for famous runway model shows and was at the top of the original Toni & Guy salon in Italy speaks volumes about his skill and creativity level. I will never go anywhere else!

Vincenzo is the best! He added highlights to my hair exactly how I asked! I'm so excited how they turned out. The best part is that the dye is organic and ammonia free!

This is my hair after he was supposed to touch up my highlights. Zero highlights soooooooo upset

Well I went in for a routine touch up. I had blonde streaks in my hair and needed my roots done and when the owner of the salon was done with my hair my blonde was completely gone and I now have dark brown hair. I've been crying for two days now. He is the owner on the salon. I can't believe I lost all my years of bleaching my hair. He put foil and bleach n my hair then he put a dark brown die on top of it. I would never go back and hope you do not try this place.

Blended in with my grays very well.

Super happy with my experience here. I found this place off of a website recommended by a functional medicine doctor who recommends women be mindful of the harsh chemicals they put on their hair/scalp year after year because it can accumulate over time and cause health issues later that aren't going to be good for us. So this one was the closest to me and I walked in and was lucky that the owner had a canceled appointment and was able to take me on the spot. Vin did my highlights and he just is an expert at what he does. He works like an artist. Not only did he know exactly what to do to make me look good but he did it the fastest anyone has ever worked on me (2.5 hours including blow drying my hair!! Super fast work). His prices were VERY reasonable. The other places whose salon does not use organic products shared the same or more. This was a no-brainer for me. The salon didn't smell bad at all. I had no eye irritation, headache or dizziness like I have at other salons in the past. It's 25 miles from my house but I think I will be making the drive out there for my future hair needs because it's worth it. The other staff were super friendly and kind. Very nice and comfortable salon. Love that they are open late (another plus other salons don't have). I'm sending my mom to him because she's super high maintenance but I think she will be happy with her hair if she let's Vin do his thing. My husband loved my hair and gave me a great compliment when he saw me. Totally worth the time and money spent here. Of course I highly recommend this place!

I received a gift certificate from my daughter to get a pedicure and foot massage from Tammy . It was a gift for my 74th birthday. I have received 100's if pedicures over the last 4 decades. I love pedicures . But we are in the middle of a pandemic and I was afraid to venture out to even purchase food. I saw people giving pedicures outside by Colorado Blvd in Pasadena. It was too hot to be outside . The air quality was unhealthy for an immune compromised person like myself. Yet I trusted my daughter. So I went to Tammy. The salon is open by appointment only . I was in a beautiful private room behind a large plexiglass. Tammy spend 100 minutes cleaning up my toes , massaging and suggesting ways to better care for my feet. Tammy takes pride in her work. She is an artist ! Hands down it was the best pedicure experience of my entire life. I felt like a new woman.

I want to believe my hair is worth $50 with tips... And I was going to forget about it.... Because the hairstyles convinced me the great haircut that he did, and he used pomade to even it out .. (I even called beforehand and they said they have someone can do great haircut) And I was about to move on to my life and forget the haircut that I have right now... HOWEVER, the second day I got my haircut. I met a friend who is acosmetologist and he said this is a horrible haircut and extremely unprofessional... It is "raggedy, extremely uneven" I think I will wear a hat.

    Nar S.

This was my first time here. I had an emergency and needed my hair fixed ASAP and Vincenzo (sorry if i butchered the spelling) squeezed me into his busy schedule and helped me out! I came in super nervous and scared and left relieved. A different salon created this huge knot, which was decreased to the size in the image below . He was able to untangle a lot and evened out the rest of my hair. Thank you so much I can't wait to go back!

David is amazing. Because of the pandemic, I am worried about taking my kids to the salon. He did some house calls for me. He cut mine and my kids' hair. No complaints.

Had the best haircut here from Kelley. She is passionate about what she does and seems to truly care about those she works with. She goes the extra mile to make those she helps comfortable and happy with the hair cut. Sadly, I had to move and will miss coming here.

    Horrible blending gray and yellow

Oh I forgot one more picture. My hairstylist that fixed my hair showed me my roots and wow.... I was shook that someone with "years" of doing hair messed up a simple touch up this bad. I didn't even see the roots until she took a picture and showed me.

Grace immediately got to work after we communicated what I was looking for, using the reference photos she asked for along with her own input as a hush cut specialist. The salon itself is very clean, airy, and modern. Despite looking small from the outside, it doesn't feel small at all. There's no strong chemical smell from hair dyes, ammonia, or bleach, which I really appreciated. The staff are super friendly and made me feel comfortable right away. I would definitely come back again in the future. After the cut, my confidence level boosted so much. Thank you Grace.

I reached out before booking a $500-$600 hair service because I genuinely care about my hair and wanted to be thoughtful before committing. I asked straightforward questions about how many sessions it might take, how long it would take, pricing, and how my hair health would be handled. These were not abstract questions. They were about my own hair and my own money. At first, I was told I could come in for a more direct consultation. When I followed up and asked when a good time would be, the tone changed. I was told this is "not an educational organization," that questions about my own hair should be directed to my previous stylist, and that consultations were not available because they were "too busy," especially on Fridays and Saturdays. That honestly caught me off guard, especially after being encouraged to come in. It started to feel like asking questions at all was unwelcome. What bothered me wasn't that they were busy. I get that. It was how I was shut down. Instead of simply saying we might not be the right fit, the responses felt dismissive and made it seem like I was being difficult for wanting clarity. I stayed polite the entire time and never asked for anything unreasonable. I just didn't want to walk in blind. This experience was especially disappointing because I chose this salon intentionally after reading negative reviews and believing the public responses showed care and accountability. I understand every business has bad reviews and nobody is perfect. But after this interaction, those reviews suddenly made a lot more sense. I'll be honest: I almost booked based on the photos alone. The work looks beautiful. But talent isn't the only thing that matters. Integrity, communication, and having a client's best interest in mind matter just as much. Sharing this so others know to read beyond the pictures and decide for themselves what kind of experience they want. No one should feel small or brushed off for asking questions before paying for a service.

The hair that Adriana had to deal with was "virgin" hair untouched by processing but very fine. I don't know anything about balayage (and that it works from the tips to the root, not vice-versa) so she helpfully showed me a few pics of gray highlighting and we were set to go. I love the ambience there; very chillax. This happened right between Thanksgiving and Christmas and you get burnt out on all the bouncy music everywhere you go. Luckily, I picked a very quiet establishment with just soft jazzy versions of the holiday stuff. The many live plants as decor really adds to the spa vibe. Make sure you keep your voices low so as not to disturb other patrons, many of whom are fellow Asians like me. I read on their website about the "Head Spa" that they do, which is kind of a 20/40/60 minute facial but for your scalp. Those chairs are so comfy you will, if you're not careful, fall asleep. Every major service (cut and highlights for me) will include a scalp massage. They block out the overhead lights and you feel like you're floating lying down. I might come back regularly for this alone. I recommend this place for people who have stress headaches. They say they use pure jojoba and help exfoliate your scalp. The total for a long hair cut was $94 and the cost of highlights was $325. You put down $100 deposit with your credit card when you make the appointment and they don't cash it until your service is complete. Make sure you're on time or early (I suggest at least 15 mins) or you will be charged 100% penalty. Parking is limited to behind Lake Ave in "Shoppers Lane." If they run out of spots you can also park at the Trader Joe's (west side of Lake) and just buy something there so you can get validated. It was pricey but well worth it. My stylist advised that I come in every few months for toner rinse to keep the highlights bright since the gray will just come in naturally after that. Don't be afraid to do it! Ask for Adriana.

I had such a great experience with Reyka last time so I'm quite disappointed in my experience this time with Yuri. She was very kind but I don't think she asked enough questions throughout the process to know what I wanted. I know it's hard to get 100% exactly what you want unless the stylist can read your mind so I really don't mind it looking a little different. But, the photo I took as soon as I got in the car shows how she sent my bangs out the door... which... I booked an "Occasion Styling" appointment ($120) with Marie Kazarian for my Senior Prom after being recommended by a friend who had a positive experience at the salon for the same service. Two days before my appointment, Marie texted asking for photos of the styles I wanted. I sent two options, and she assured me she could do both. When I arrived, she asked to see my Prom dress and suggested we go with an updo instead of a half-up, half-down style. From the start, the appointment felt unprofessional. She didn't ask any questions about my hair type, texture, or how it holds style. She began curling my hair with a large-barrel curling iron but used no heat protectant or styling products. The curls fell out within minutes. When attempting the updo, it quickly became clear she didn't have a plan. The result was a stiff, messy bun with random pieces pinned awkwardly--completely different from what I had shown her. After two failed attempts, I asked her to switch to a half-up, half-down style, hoping it would be easier. At that point, I felt frustrated because I shouldn't have to lower my expectations when I'm paying for a specific look. Unfortunately, the second attempt was no better. She pulled my hair into an uneven ponytail with no teasing, shaping, or effort to match the reference photos. I became so upset that I started crying and texted my mom, who was sitting across the salon. My mom ended up stepping in to help guide Marie because it was clear she didn't know how to execute the style. The entire experience was incredibly upsetting. I spent the rest of the appointment in tears, and despite other stylists clearly seeing how distressed I was, as I made eye contact with various of them, no one offered assistance. When Marie's next client arrived, I had to leave with my hair unfinished and poorly styled. What stood out the most was how completely unapologetic Marie was throughout the entire appointment. At no point did she acknowledge that things were going wrong, offer a solution, or show any concern for how upset I was. Instead, she dismissed the situation by saying, "It's going to look better when you have your dress and makeup on," which only made things worse. I ended up going home and having to completely redo my own hair for Prom after paying $120 for a professional service. That alone says everything. I left the salon having paid for a hairstyle that looked nothing like what I requested and for one of the worst service experiences I've ever had. Marie came across as unprepared, inattentive, and completely unconcerned with client satisfaction. DO NOT BOOK WITH MARIE KAZARIAN!

He also offered drinks and snacks, which I really appreciated because I definitely needed the caffeine boost that day. He washed my hair and gave me the trim I desperately needed, removing all my split ends while still keeping my hair long just like I asked.
