This was the best storage facility I've ever used! The units are truly airtight and well maintained. After 6 1/2 years, I was amazed that when I took everything out, you couldn't even tell that my belongings had been stored for that long. Everything was in great condition! I also want to give a special shout-out to Juan. He was absolutely amazing to do business with-friendly, helpful, professional, and always a pleasure to work with. I didn't write this right away and I forget) were very polite and hard-working, they worked non stop and wouldn't even have taken a break for lunch if I didn't force them to. They showed up on time, handled everything with care and got it all moved in to our new place without incident, nothing lost or broken. They even took some unwanted furniture off our hands for us at the end of the day! Looking forward to using these guys again next month when we move again.

However, both of my 70" TVs were broken (screens all messed up) when I tried to turn them on. (I remembered both had been moved in the van while standing on their short end. I looked this up after finding them broken, and I found that standing TVs on the short end is not the way to store them, as it puts pressure on the screen in a way it was not designed to bear. Especially in a bouncing moving van!) And my bookstand with wheels had one broken wheel (probably they forgot to unlock the wheels before trying to move it). Ugh. Later, the main mover guy texted to ask me to give them a good review at a different link than the one I had used to write this Yelp review. I let him know about the TVs (I had not discovered the book case yet). And he made a big deal over how this had never happened to them before and his guys were so upset and how they didn't do anything wrong. And then he said I could file a claim with the company but asked me to say they had not done anything wrong, everything had been packed right. Well, clearly not the case! And not my problem to protect his ego. Double ugh. I made a 1.5 hour round trip drive to drop off the TVs at a free electronic recycle. I'll go to Costco to try and replace these TVs. They were probably only each worth 100 when broken, but I'll have to pay a lot more than that to replace them. A serious drag.

Of the container options, the larger chains like Pods and similar had high prices and not the best reviews. I found UNITS which had similar pricing, but they are are a local Bay Area company, they have fantastic reviews, and they had a few flexible options for sizes and storage (at my property or they could pick up and store at their facility). They were super helpful and easy to work with. Delivery was seamless, the container was in great condition and it's been working out great! Would recommend especially as a local business with great service!

I should have listened to my gut…read more While my property was in a gated area and I assumed there some sort of security that patrols the property. Well someone tried to break into my trailer by cutting off the lock for the back ramp and the trailer next to me backed and hit my trailer and dented the side and scraped the window bezel. The place has a lot broken down cars and garbage and trailers that are run down. I can almost guarantee there some people living in some of them. I moved my trailer to a place about an hour from where I live but they offer free dumping, free ice and free water and an area to wash your trailer and even better they offer electricity for your trailer and 24 hour access and even what's even better than that no broken down eye sores.
