Always fun and fresh flavors! I always enjoy a white iced sprinkled donut - such a classic!! The chocolate was delicious as well. They have a drive through to make it convenient! The inside of the shop is super cute as well.

Spotted a Voodoo Doughnut near by where we are staying. They are a bit overpriced but for gourmet donuts are very good and expected. We picked an assortment to share. Very fresh, very sweet, and very very good! Staff member was so patient as we tried to figure out which flavors to select. Sure he gets that all the time. We have only been to a few Voodoo's! Super friendly and he did a great job packing up the donuts to keep th protected for the short trip back to our hotel!

This was my first time trying voodoo doughnut, and I'll definitely be back after such a great experience. Initially went in with the mission of only getting 1 donut to try, but ended up coming out with 4...whoops! 3 I paid for, and 1 was a freebie since it was my first time in the shop--thank you to the person who gave me one for free, that was very sweet. Haven't tried the banana cream pie one yet, but the apple fritter seemed to be the fan favorite--quite possibly the best apple fritter any of us have had. I also loved the voodoo doll donut, but the milk bar was just okay. I'd come back whenever I'm in the mood for a donut.

Friendly service and very creative donuts! Cute decor and unique experience. Definitely a once and awhile treat, these donuts are over the top!

Voodoo came recommended and did not disappoint. We came on a random weekday and parking was easy. Inside staff was quick to say hello and patient with us as we ordered for the family. Prices seemed fair to me for the big ol' donuts they serve. You can also order coffee or milk. The coffee didn't sound that appetizing but the milk was just fine. I liked the quick service and the huge selection of donuts. I only preferred the Simpson inspired don't but there were several that I wanted to try. The decor is fun and creates a fun ambiance. There is also a little outdoor seating which was nice since we wanted to get the fresh mountain air. I'd come back again for a donut. This place is fairly cheap, has good service, and is tasty.

Voodoo Doughnut never disappoints, and this visit was no exception! I had to try the Pot O'Gold--a masterpiece covered in banana cereal milk frosting, topped with a cascade of rainbow marshmallow cereal shapes, and drizzled with strawberry frosting. It was like biting into a nostalgic childhood dream, but somehow even better. The flavors blended perfectly--sweet, creamy, and just the right amount of crunch from the cereal. Beyond that, the whole vibe of Voodoo is an experience in itself. The staff was friendly, the selection was overwhelming (in the best way), and every doughnut looked almost too good to eat. Almost. If you're in town and have a sweet tooth, this place is a must-visit!

Fun decor, but I'm there for the doughnut's! The old fashion chocolate was very good with a really rich frosting but the apple fritter may have been the best I've had!

Selection of donuts + fritter from our latest Voodoo donut run

service: The best part of our visit was the service. We went early in the morning and the man who served us was wonderful. He answered all of our questions and pointed out what was new. food: The donuts are very good. I prefer filled ones and so we mostly had filled, except for a very fresh out of the fryer apple fritter. If they are currently making the donuts and you can get a fresh apple fritter, it's worth waiting a few minutes. Their Boston cream filled donut is always fantastic. We tried a range of new donuts and liked them, the cherry coke and the raspberry (shark) donuts had a lot of filling and tasted best. warning: Right now they are doing construction on Arapaho in front of the donut shop. This makes it very difficult to find the drive entrance.

I love donuts and was happy to find this spot on my recent trip! I absolutely loved the pink decor the minute you step into the shop. They have giant display cases on both sides with all flavors. After contemplating for 10min, we went with the Homer, dirty chai (which was a featured flavor) and an apple fritter. We got our donuts quickly and it was about $4 a donut. The donuts are quite large and easy to split with a friend. The dirty chai was delicious and included this spiced pudding which added sweetness to the donut but not too much! There's a good bit of seating outside and inside but the parking lot is limited in size. Luckily, there wasn't a rush and we were able to get our order and leave fairly quickly!

Overall we give a rating of 8. As for the donuts we ordered, here are our ratings: chocolate Coconut 10 Apple fritter 5 hard to find an Apple Butter fingering 9 Raised glazed 5 Voodoo doll 9 Dirt 10 Chocolate ring 8 Voodoo bubble 9 Chocolate old fashioned 9 We tried to be fair in our ratings and the 10 out of 10 scale.

Swung by the brand new Voodoo Donuts in Boulder today! Located right off Arapahoe, it's a bit farther from the main hustle. They have a decent parking lot but for extra fun I biked there. I've been to the Portland and both Denver locations, so it was nice to explore here! It's a bit smaller and has two check stands. They have the typical swag area but not too much decorations. Perhaps more will come! The clerk was a bit aloof and wasn't exactly as cheerful or talkative as I'm used to in Denver. Maybe it's just so new, she hasn't absorbed much. I love getting the Grape Ape, a tasty purple donut with grape flavored frosting. They have a ton of other flavors, other favs are Oreo, maple bacon, and their eclairs. I heard the boba place next door works well together! Each donut is about $3-4, so it's a treat for me. It's fun for Boulder tourists, college kids, and first timers. I find myself going to get that one or two favorite flavors. Other than that, I do hope my next time finds the staff in a better mood!

I was hosting a friend for some creative fun and thought Voodoo Doughnuts would be a perfect accompaniment! It definitely was a good choice. After an initial issue with parking, I decided to pull over and order online then parked down the way and walked to get my doughnuts. It was a win. The line was long and I went straight to the mobile orders pick-up spot and due to the number of people it took a bit for anyone to see me there, so I spoke up in between customers ordering and she checked to see if my order was ready. It wasn't but it didn't take long after that for someone to ask what name my order was under and give it to me with a smile and a friendly "have a great day and enjoy the doughnuts." I took my little box home and couldn't wait for my friend before eating half of the sweet cream cannolo. It was delicious and melted in my mouth. My friend arrived and we cut up the remaining doughnuts and I tried a bite (or two) from each making sure to save some for my husband. All of them were delicious. The Chuckles was not a traditional doughnut and you could taste all of the flavors in this topping: chocolate, caramel, and peanuts. What's not to love? The other two were traditional and also fabulous. The chocolate old fashioned was a bit dry but had a great flavor. And of course I ate them with a cup of espresso! Will be back and happy to see some great doughnuts in Boulder!

I was very excited to try this place out as I had seen the colorful and vibrant donuts and their flavors seemed really exciting as well. However, to be very honest, I feel that they looked a lot better than they tasted. These donuts were still good but I was sort of expecting more punch from the taste. My favorite donut was the Grape Ape which is a vanilla frosted donut with purple sprinkles and grape dust. This was light and the dough was very fluffy. I also got the classic voodoo doll which unfortunately got smushed in the box. I had ordered 4 donuts- Memphis Mafia, Grape Ape, Voodoo Doll, and the Maple Blazer Blunt. The Memphis Mafia was a lot bigger than I had expected. It was almost a bit bigger than the size of an average palm. While the portion was generous, unfortunately the flavors in it all sort of clashed with each other and didn't really make sense. There were a lot of different flavors and textures going on. The Voodoo Doll was cute and had a jelly filling inside. The Maple Blazer Blunt reminded me of a sugar donut. I can see why it's a popular place and I think someone who likes variety can really enjoy this place!

Outside the decidedly gray building of the Boulder Voodoo Doughnuts location.

As we chose the flavors we wanted, they seeped back and picked up freshly made donuts and dipped each into a container of the flavor requested . They then placed them into a box, no preset number required and why I never had a traditional Asian flavor at the place on my trip. We took them out into the food hall combined seating to sample them. We could not wait. The sad part about doing that is that set into the small box, they had stuck together in a sticky pile. Persisting them dry a little before packaging does have some benefits after all. Im not sure how to effectively do this though as the place is tiny and the line constant. Maybe a small reserve of not popular flavors would be worthwhile for busy Saturday mornings . It a close call between perfection and almost. Same with my stars, 4.5 would be perfect. The black sesame was our favorite for both of us though I liked the other two flavors better than my husband did. We both ordered drinks but different ones. I ordered the pear tea with Brien sugar jelly and my husband ordered a green tea with boba. Mine had reduced sugar. The cups looked big but were more ice than fluid than I am used to in other shops in Boulder. But they were both very tasty and complimented the donuts very well. The tables were clean and predominantly empty as most customers were doing take out. The staff was very friendly and helpful but it was unclear to me if the donuts are actually made there, by then. The flavored frostings had a very thin layer and the flavors were lighter than a local shop in the neighboring town where we had some being made in a live kitchen and being served freshly made before our eyes. These were still good but the other place was stellar. Neither are close to home so we will only get to each when in their towns. If you are nearby and looking for a treat, stop in and enjoy.
