Stopped by later in the afternoon about an hour before they closed for the day and so happy I did!…read moreI have never heard of potato doughnuts before and as someone who loves doughnuts in general, my interest was sparked. Service was speedy as it wasn't busy at all at the time. There were just a few options left - brown butter, peach and a monkey bread - and I got one of each to try. The doughnuts were a bit more substantial than a classic doughnut with a nice slightly chewy texture and high sweetness level from the glaze toppings. I wouldn't recommend having more than one in a sitting unless you're looking for a sugar rush or sharing! The monkeybread bun was equally delicious with a sweet glaze and small pull apart sections. To say Landline is cute is an understatement. The interior decoration is fun, bright and unique! They have great impactful branding that stands out for a photo op or just to admire while you snack. If you're craving a sweet while out and about, Landline is a great place to try with coffee and doughnut options that are reasonably priced.

The inside of the shop is very cozy and open I felt very welcome. They also seem to have some good vegan options for those with dietary needs and other preferences. Lastly, the service was excellent and the staff are extremely friendly. Would absolutely recommend this as a good place to grab a treat for the whole family.

It is advertised and signage for both businesses, sharing space and staff. So I will use and address these products together and post each business' Yelp page. We were in Longmont for one of my medical appointments and I knew firm a longtime Yelp fried that there were Michi donuts to be had here and her picture looked like something I wanted to try in the traditionally Japanese treat. I get out this way only a few times a year. WhenI mapped it on Google I found the 2 separate names. It's a cute place and deviated in lots of pink, very trendy these days. We chose our mochi donuts and shown how to order and lay at the kiosks on the wall. We ordered taro, matcha and black sesame. The black sesame was our favorite for both of us though I liked the other two flavors better than my husband did. We both ordered drinks but different ones. I ordered the pear tea with Brien sugar jelly and my husband ordered a green tea with boba. Mine had reduced sugar. The cups looked big but were more ice than fluid than I am used to in other shops in Boulder. But they were both very tasty and complimented the donuts very well. The tables were clean and predominantly empty as most customers were doing take out. The staff was very friendly and helpful but it was unclear to me if the donuts are actually made there, by then. The flavored frostings had a very thin layer and the flavors were lighter than a local shop in the neighboring town where we had some being made in a live kitchen and being served freshly made before our eyes. These were still good but the other place was stellar. Neither are close to home so we will only get to each when in their towns. If you are nearby and looking for a treat, stop in and enjoy. It's a pack of calories but sometimes needed. It's unclear to me if the ownership is franchised from both companies but the products make could partners.

I went to the restroom to wash my hands and my girlfriend went to make the order. I had to get a restroom key from the front counter which had a huge plastic lid attached to the key...both were FILTHY! As I entered the restroom, I cringed, froze and my eyes were like frisbees. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting with who knows what caked on the light switch, the door handle, around the paper towels, the walls etc etc etc By the time I came out, the order was already made, but my girlfriend asked me if I wanted anything for ourselves. I immediately said no. If the restroom is that filty, is that where the staff maintains their own hygiene while they're making the doughnuts? The one girl helping us appeared to be the only person working the store, so was she so busy that the restroom never gets cleaned? She was very kind, tentative and friendly. Because I was disgusted by the lack of cleanliness, I do not have an opinion on the taste or quality of their product...hence the 2 star rating.
