It was a grand day when Sweet Cow opened in Longmont! We used to drive to the North Boulder location, but now we have one in our home town. My husband introduced me to Sweet Cow when their Moo Mobile used to park in front of his work. It's my favorite ice cream place in Colorado! This locally based ice-cream company does not use artificial flavors. You feel like you're eating real food instead of chemicals. They use ingredients from Colorado companies. I love how their ice cream has huge chunks of the ingredients in it like big chunks of chocolate and cookies. They have fun flavors like The Big Lebowski, S'mores and Raspberry Oreo. The people that work there are so friendly and attentive! There are places to sit both inside and outside. The Longmont location is located right across from Roosevelt park. So, if you're so inclined you can take a walk in the park while eating ice cream. There is free street parking. read more

In Berthoud Colorado small town ice cream shop. Excellent ice cream. I had the espresso coffee ice cream and loved it! The service was efficient and well staffed. This is a strong 5star review for the hearty warm welcome, the service, the kindness and enthusiasm from Kelsey who helped me decide (when deciding on a flavor is a weakness of mine ha), and then of course the ice cream itself. From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with smiles and when I mentioned it was my first time, Kelsey was eager to walk me through the options. New ice cream place in town is highly welcomed! I got the Chocolate Almond in a cup, and my husband got the Banana Nutella in a cone. The cone smelled so fresh that I wish I'd gotten that! The smell impermeates the entire space around the shop! Both flavors were absolutely delicious and so thick. I loved mine because it had chunks of nuts inside and that's my favorite thing ever. Came in here on a Friday night around 8:30pm. There weren't many lights on.. it was a little sun and they had a disco ball going. Tons of flavor choices and I honestly wanted them all. Parking here looks like it can be iffy. Somehow we lucked out and got a spot right in front when there were no other spots to be found. Once inside, the line moves super quick as they seemed to have plenty of people working and keep things moving. They're also happy for you to try samples. I haven't visited in a couple years, so I certainly needed help to make a decision. The Chocolate Orange was definitely the big winner for me. Not only did it have big flavor, but it's the kind of ice cream that melts quickly, which is my personal preference. I also had the vegan pb Oreo. While the consistency isn't great (it doesn't provide a smooth scoop but instead crumbles into chunks) it has pretty great flavor (I thought it was better than the other pb options). I also had the Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Not as powerful on flavor, but I loved the pieces of cereal in there, softened and chewy! While there's no seating inside, they have a decent size patio which was perfectly enjoyable for the weather of early August. Definitely made for a delicious and pleasant evening! read more

Walk around yesterday with my husband,try found ice cream. Come here,but hard see from street. Ordered vegan almond joe and coffee. Can't tell was way but not bad,especially coffee. Price is fair. OMG This place is awesome! The ice cream is amazing and tastes so good. Like it's made out of regular ingredients and it's super fresh. It's a noticeable contrast from eating ice cream with corn syrup and ingredients that sound like they shouldn't even be in cosmetics let alone food. The people behind the counter are fun to interact with, and are very friendly. Plus they are skilled at helping this indecisive customer make up his mind. Seating inside is limited but there's more outside, so if weather permits you have enough room. I just wish they had a way to help me work off the calories!
