Bacon egg and cheese biscuit
Krista L.

The food is delicious. They just opened up a brick and mortar on 9th street. Biscuits are light and fluffy. They also do a rotating biscuit of the day flavor. Would definitely go back. Food was pretty quick and service was friendly. Feels like a nice hometown breakfast joint

Honey chicken biscuit

Ordered a honey chicken biscuit and it was about the size of Alaska. This is the second time I've eaten here and both times the servings were very generous and tasted great, would recommend checking Mike and his biscuits out.

Happy to have found this little treasure. Used this website: https://roaminghunger.com/biscuits-at-mikes/ Cute little food truck with a friendly staff. So let's cut to the chase...the biscuit may be one of the best I've had. Great taste and consistency. Perfect size for the sandwich. We tried the pulled pork, the sausage, egg, and cheese, and the chicken. I'd recommend any of them. The only problem with this place is they are in Longmont and I am not! My daughter would kill me if I did not mention the cute little dog biscuit they gave to us since we had our dog with us. Little things like this definitely make a difference.

The Big D - pork roll, fried egg and cheese

Well butter my biscuits! Biscuits at Mike's deserves more than 5 stars IMO. The biscuits are some of the best I've had anywhere, let alone in Colorado which has some good competition. They are flaky, buttery, and the perfect shape and size for a loaded up sandwich. For about $9-$11 you might be thinking "that's too pricey for a breakfast sandwich" and you'd be wrong. The ingredients are all fresh and delicious and worth every penny. The best part - they don't skimp on the filling. The eggs are bountiful & oh so fluffy paired perfectly with a thick slab of meat to create that just-right balance. We tried the good ol' classic - Bacon, Egg, and Cheese along with the Big D - pork roll (NOT Taylor ham amiright Jersey peeps?), fried egg, and cheese as well as the Fried Chicken & honey. The total came to $30.44 and it was one of the best dang breakfast stops we've ever had. The catch - you have to get there early as they're only open until 11am during the week and noon on weekends which is challenging for us night owls. But hey, if there's one thing that'll get me out of bed it's a biscuit from Mike's. Don't walk, run (or drive the half hour we do). It's freakin' worth it. *Follow them on Instagram for their weekly schedule as the truck does move around to the Longmont, Lyons, Berthoud areas. Enjoy!

Chicken on a biscuit.....Yumm!

Fantastic food truck! Most delicious biscuit creations. My favorite so far is the fried chicken drizzled with honey on a biscuit. What a treat. I also like the fact that there are different flavored biscuits each week. Thanks, Mike.

There are multiple seating options - inside, patio, or rooftop. We opted for the rooftop and the vibes were excellent. The weather was gorgeous and the rooftop patio is nicely decorated with live plants and a big bar running the length of the patio. Our server was excellent. I think his name was Danny. One of our party has an alcohol intolerance, so needs to avoid foods cooked with alcohol. Danny was super helpful in guiding our menu options with this information. He confirmed multiple dishes with the chef before we ordered. For food, we started with the Truffle Parm Fries, Fried Brussels Sprouts, and the Bangin' Cauliflower. All were delicious. The cauliflower was extremely good, I can see why so many reviews mention it. For entrees, our group ordered the Short Rib Tacos, Jumbo Crab Cakes, Chilean Salmon, and the Avocado Salad with Seared Ahi. No complaints around the table. The meat in the Short Rib tacos is super tasty. Portions were good sized, however the Crab Cake dish is definitely smaller than the others. Good option if you aren't super hungry. The Chilean Salmon was cooked perfectly. We didn't really have any complaints at all. Solid dining experience. Would definitely return if I'm ever back in the Longmont area.

Not as pleased with the entree. Mostly fries and not much meat. Would have gone for the short rib. Nice ambiance inside. Easy parking.

Food 10/10! Best foccacia I ever had (crumb worthy of Food Network segment or an Iron Chef battle)…read more I wanted one of everything but the stomach has limited capacity. Will be back (and again and again, but shhh! You should go before everyone finds out about it). People 10/10. Real, kind, generous. And with fun tidbits of conversation and humor. Ambiance: excellent for breakfast or brunch with friends, working solitary on your laptop, having a quick sandwich on the rooftop patio, or a work meeting (in-person would be nice because the velvet couches are legit). I really liked the attention to details (such as the hooks for hanging a purse under the countertop). Cool decor and the vibe is like somebody oversized den, but instagram-worthy, you know? The two highlights (neither of which I captured in pictures) were the mortadella sandwich (with mayo and what I think was pistachio) - EXCELLENT. It was a little pricey at $14 but a simple and hearty lunch. The other stand out item was their brownie - It was a mix of a little lava cake and chocolate fudge - again a little pricey but of all the things I got it was worth every penny. There is a walk up/take-away area and a sit down area that was charming. Parking is not always easy in the area but worth the struggle. I was extremely impressed and will be returning regularly.

Would have liked a bit less oil in the dish. For me, more oil does not mean more flavor; it means more slime. Was having a LOVELY quiet little lunch for one, in the restaurant which was slowing down to close. 85% of the tables were empty. The host made the choice to sit two people on a "let's get to know each other" work date, at the table right next to me. PLENTY of empty tables in the joint. One table over would have been amazing. My relaxing lunch was over as I had no interest in being in the middle of their "let me tell you about my childhood" conversation. Slow Thursday. . . My family and I went on a Friday morning around 10am and were seated immediately without a wait. The food was just okay. Our group ordered the Eggs Your Way (with Bacon), Full English Breakfast, Corned Beef Hash, and the Tangerine Breakfast Combo. The Eggs Your Way and Tangerine Breakfast Combo are pretty standard breakfast restaurant offerings. Eggs, Meat, Potatoes, Toast. Decent and did their job. The Full English Breakfast wasn't great. The person who ordered it said it was unseasoned and unimpressive. We've had a Full English in the UK - and this is no where near the real deal. I ordered the Corned Beef Hash. It was ok. Flavor-wise, it was seasoned well. However, the corned beef was cut into large cubes. Approximately the same size as a breakfast potato. I wasn't a fan of this rendition. I prefer when it's finely chopped or shredded. This version didn't really feel like a hash. Definitely got the impression this place is hit or miss. Not sure I'd come back personally, but overall it wasn't terrible.
