This is my second time reviewing VB (although I've been many times), and quite frankly my most disappointing visit. The service was, as usual, amazing. Summer was our server and she was attentive, personable, and was the best part of the experience. I always get the fried green tomatoes with the pork-belly, and it's typically a knock out. This time the pork was not as crispy/tender as it's been in the past and very chewy. The tomato however was cooked perfectly. Now, this chicken and biscuit....3/10. The platter is literally a 4 piece with a biscuit. I was expecting more of an equal portion of each, but that's not the case here. The biscuit was actually pretty good! Served with maple butter and honey. The chicken, however was dry, overcooked, and had way too much breading. It was seasoned breading, but since it was overcooked, you couldn't enjoy it. As for ambiance, literally everyone was celebrating a birthday, so a bit annoying at times, but for the environment still rather easy with some wonderful live music. And the place is just gorgeous. Overall, this place is still not bad. I mean everyone has a swing and a miss now and again. I would not count them out just yet. But will steer clear of the chicken & biscuit situation in future visits.
Went for happy hour and blown away by the menu. Drinks were good! Had one that was sweet and refreshing and another one that was more alcohol forward. We ordered a bunch on th happy hour menu and the ones that stood out to me was the gator nuggets and Rockefeller oysters. So much flavor in the food and the drinks. Will want to visit again when I'm back in Orlando
Another great meal at Voodoo Bayou. I've been shocked that the last few times we came here for weekend brunch we were able to be seated immediately without a reservation. The Cajun food is amazing and they gave me plenty of champagne for my bottomless mimosas this time. We will miss this restaurant when we move.
As soon as I walked in I couldn't stop gawking at everything. The spooky fun ambiance, the lighting sets a mood, the velvet booths, cheetah print chairs, the decorations. I truly fell in love. Our server was the sweetest thing and attentive. We came for brunch BUT I wasn't really impressed with it. Food was lukewarm but I did like the bread that came with my dish. The banana bread pudding sounded so delicious BUT it was rather grainy and the cookies were unbreakable... The beignets were warm and fabulous, so order those!! I got bottomless mimosas and those were nice with juices such as-- pineapple, mango, peach, OJ or strawberry I don't want to never not come back. Because I've heard great things about their dinner AND they got a really cool speakeasy that's Asian fusion
Voodoo Bayou is definitely a vibe. Went for Oyster Wednesday to celebrate a friend's solar return, and honestly got stuck on the oysters because they were that good -- fresh, flavorful, and I couldn't get enough. The service was great -- friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. I also tried the Vicki Vallencourt (Strawberries, Lemon & Honey) mocktail, which was super delightful and refreshing. There was live music too -- the guy playing was ok, but the oysters and the whole bayou vibe carried the night. Definitely coming back!
Took my work team out to Voodoo Bayou while attending a conference in Orlando recently. I've been here a few times before and the food never disappoints. We ordered a variety of appetizers for the table. The BBQ Shrimp is always one of my go-to favorites, large shrimp served in a tasty New Orleans BBQ sauce with baguette to soak up every bit of that sauce. The Yellowtail Crudo was super fresh and delicious, and you really can't go wrong with any of the oysters. Their drinks are always excellent. For my entree this time I tried the Brick Oven Roasted Chicken based on our waitress's recommendation. I wanted something different than what I've had before, and it was incredible. The chicken was succulent, marinated and served in a bourbon jus and herb butter, complemented with rice and some great smoky collard greens. We finished with the beignets for dessert, and their description of little sweet clouds from heaven isn't a lie. A great meal, great service, a unique and awesome vibe, and even better company.
Interaction at the hostess stand was exceptional. Checked in for my dinner reservation for 2 people. It was not a problem for staff as I waited for my guest to arrive late. The hostess wasn't sure about a question I posed. Before we were seated she contacted a manager and got back to. The table service was also great. Nice job Kelcy. We enjoyed the BBQ shrimp and the flavorful sauce it was cooked in. The red fish fillet was cooked to perfection in their pizza oven. It doesn't really matter to me anymore but 2 appetizers, 1 entree and 1 draft beer with tax and tip was $109.
My friend and I decided to try Voodoo Bayou for the first time and went during lunchtime. We made reservations ahead of time, which wasn't really necessary since it wasn't busy but that worked out great for us. When we walked in, the restaurant was very dark. I've been to my fair share of New Orleans-style restaurants around Orlando, and while I understand they're going for a voodoo/gothic theme, the vibes just weren't quite there for us. The host greeted us warmly and escorted us to our table, which was appreciated. Our waiter, Bryce, was friendly and did a great job walking us through the menu. They offer a lunch special for $15.99, which is a nice deal. I ordered the Black Magic lemonade and waters for the table. For appetizers, I had the deviled eggs, and my friend ordered the gator tails both were good and a solid way to start the meal. For entrées, I ordered the Creole mustard salmon. Unfortunately, it was very bland. Looking at the plate, I was excited to dive in, but the flavor just didn't deliver. My friend ordered the lunch special, which included a cup of gumbo and a half shrimp po'boy, and she said hers was good. We ended the meal with banana pudding to share. It wasn't your typical banana pudding it tasted more like vanilla ice cream, very heavy on the vanilla bean, with a few slices of banana and cookies mixed in. Definitely different. Overall, it was a unique experience, but not one that fully hit the mark for us. Some highlights, some misses, and interesting to try at least once.
Super cute place with a fun vibe and love the live music. We started with the biscuits and my bf had oysters. The biscuits were great and huge honey butter is a stand out. I really wanted to try the fried chicken but couldn't since marinated in a fish substance and I'm allergic Seems odd to do that on a chicken dish. Server had to ask to be sure also. I wound up ordering the Cajun carbonara. Flavor great but the meat should be more prominent and the egg was a bit overdone. My bf had jambalaya and loved it. My Elvira cocktail was good but she didn't ask if I wanted the cup and I kinda did. After word we had a reso at roka hula so we went there for a drink. Overall good would go back for apps
Voodoo Bayou - Cajun fundamentals, delivered with discipline and pleasure. I'm very familiar with Cajun food in the Texas-Louisiana corridor, where Cajun and Creole flavors are everyday life, not a theme. That familiarity raises the bar: once this food travels too far from home, spice often gets timid, rice collapses, and everything turns into a polite imitation. Voodoo Bayou didn't do that. This visit was takeout because time was tight - no sitting down for cocktails, no lingering at the bar. That matters, because takeout is a stress test for Cajun food: heat loss, steam, soggy crusts, broken texture. If a kitchen still delivers pleasure through that window, it usually means their time-and-temperature discipline is real. Louisiana-style "BBQ Shrimp" (the good kind of surprise) I ordered the BBQ shrimp without overthinking the menu and immediately understood what they meant: this is the Louisiana / New Orleans-style preparation - shrimp in a buttery, garlicky, spice-driven sauce. Not grilled, not sweet, not bottled "BBQ." It's rich, savory, and unapologetically umami, while the shrimp's sweetness still comes through. It's the kind of dish where you tear bread, drag it through the sauce, and stop talking for a minute. The bread: slightly charred, aromatic, crisp (and functional) Yes, the bread is a bit charred - and it's exactly right. That char adds aroma and a faint bitterness that sharpens the richness of the sauce. More importantly, the bread stays crisp and sturdy enough to mop up every last drop without turning to mush. That's a kitchen thinking about function, not just appearance. Jambalaya: grain integrity = competence The jambalaya is savory and comforting without being heavy. The rice stays distinct - each grain seasoned, not broken down. Cajun rice shouldn't eat like paste. Here, it doesn't. Texture is the quiet signal that the kitchen knows what it's doing. Fried alligator tail (two boxes) - still crisp, still juicy I ordered two boxes of fried alligator tail and ate them roughly 30 minutes later. The exterior stayed crisp, and the meat inside stayed tender and juicy - no rubber, no dryness, no "you need sauce to rescue it." The seasoning is confident enough that you can eat it straight and be happy. IPA pairing (it works) I paired the meal with an IPA, and it was the right move. Cajun spice + butter + savory depth needs bitterness and carbonation to cut richness and reset the palate. Each sip made the next bite feel fresh again. Takeout presentation (yes, it matters) One more detail: even packed to-go, the food looked organized and intentional. Nothing smashed, nothing swimming unnecessarily in sauce. It was genuinely satisfying to open the containers-presentation still mattered, even outside the dining room. Service was friendly, recommendations were on point, and nothing felt forced. This time I evaluated Voodoo Bayou under takeout constraints - and it still delivered warmth, structure, and real Cajun pleasure. Next time, I'm eating inside, drinking properly, and working through the menu at the right pace. If this were on the Gulf Coast, no one would question its legitimacy. Only 5 is audit-worthy. -- Dr. C
Amazing quality food and beverages that are really worth it. Including a lot of options, we had the half dozen oysters, and the devilled eggs. Both came out amazing, the oysters were massive and the eggs were very creamy. Our server Jennifer was fantastic, she was very attentive and friendly. And of course the Ambiance is like going into a vampires speakeasy on bourbon street. Can't wait to come back here!
My dad and I stopped here for lunch one day and I quickly realized this is not the kind of space that I would want to sit down and have lunch with my dad as it was more date night coded, and we were there in the middle of the day I didn't realize a place like this existed in Orlando, but I'm excited that I got to experience it. The food was good. The service was good and there was a live band playing at the time the ambience inside of this place is very dark. It made me think of 90s movies and shows like charmed or the craft also probably because one of my cocktails were served in a drink like that the food was good and I would definitely go back again.

Voodoo Bayou was a great experience. I asked my boyfriend to be mine. The server was amazing. I forgot her name but if she sees this, you are greatly appreciated. The service was well executed and also shout to the managers which were two guys who took the flowers in hours before hand and made sure everything was done perfectly as a surprise!! Definitely visit for the esthetic and vibe! read more
Tried their happy hour for the first time last week and it was amazing! First of all, the minute you walk in, everything from the decor and lighting to the ambiance was really impressive. The HH menu is also great. There is a variety of food items and a really good drink selection available. For our drinks, we had margaritas. The spicy margarita is really spicy, so be careful if you decide to order it. There's even a disclaimer that they will not refund you if you change your mind! For appetizers, we had the deviled eggs, oysters Rockefeller, smoked wings and pear salad. Everything was delicious. There is a minimum order of 3 for the oysters and wings, but pricing is very reasonable. Staff is very friendly and attentive always asking if we needed anything else. There was a live band while we were there so it can get a little loud. Overall, the vibe was really great and I know we will definitely be back. Maybe we'll even check out the speakeasy behind the big chair next time! read more
Stopped by for a night cap after dinner -- and the smoked old fashioned, the lavender fizz cocktails, and the dark, speakeasy vibes were just what the doctor ordered. I truly wish I had saved room for dessert because those beignets were calling my name and I wasn't physically able to answer. 1 round of drinks was all we have left to give, but thoroughly enjoyed it. We loved this place! The vibes are amazing, the live music is always fun and the food is incredible. The southern LA soul food is authentic and filling. I love to take people here and have them be impressed with the service and food they receive. We also love the speak easy but that is it's own review , haha. I definitely would come back here often and hopefully will be visiting again soon. read more
Came for happy hour -- very crowded. Grabbed the last two seats at the bar. Happy hour menu only available at bar and high tops, which was odd. We had a reservation, but waited at the bar until friends arrived. Bartender took our order - Old Sailman Cocktail (similar to a spicy margarita), a margarita, deviled eggs (with truffle and caviar), and cup of gumbo. Drinks were made right in front of us and served quickly. Lots of ice in both drinks, but Margarita was good. The other cocktail was okay. Eggs and gumbo brought out quickly, and were both really good. The gumbo was flavorful. Everyone enjoyed the entrees once we sat for dinner. Jambalaya as served in a lidded stoneware pot. Okra was not soft, which was disappointing, but didn't kill the dish, since there only a few pieces of okra. Cornbread was a hit. read more

Went to Voodoo for lunch and made a reservation. It was not very busy for a Saturday lunch and since it was the day after Halloween it felt fitting to go there. The server was great and attentive and the food was very good. We had cornbread, fried tomatoes, and I got the chicken sandwich with a craft beer. Everything was very good but nothing over the top exciting. They do have a speakeasy and the hidden wall that turns is the coolest part of the whole place. read more

I came here with a friend to celebrate my birthday. I made reservations on open table easily. There is complimentary valet parking directly in front of the restaurant which is nice because the parking lot has multiple businesses so at certain times the parking is a challenge. The ambience and music is great and the food and drinks were 10/10. We ordered oysters and cornbread, chicken and biscuits and shrimp with gumbo. I was impressed with the extensive drink menu and their giant selection of alcohol. The bar has a sliding ladder like a beauty and the beast library to access all of the bottles! After dinner we sat in the revolving chairs and checked out the speakeasy Roka Hula. We had a glass of wine there and the service and ambience was amazing. I recommend this place ! read more
BEST DISCOVERY IN FLORIDA!! My friends and I came to Voodoo Bayou for Happy Hour before dinner and it was without a doubt the best thing we experienced while in Orlando. We had all been to New Orleans, but we actually felt that Voodoo Bayou was even better than what we experienced in NOLA. You can tell that there was so much thought and details that went into the execution of this New Orleans-inspired restaurant and bar. The ambiance is dark and dim lit with gothic décor. Upon walking in there are these 2 throne-like chairs with a flower backdrop, great for photo taking. HAPPY HOUR is at the bar only - Mon to Fri from 4-7pm and Mon to Thurs from 10pm-close. We were lucky to seize the perfect amount of seats for our group along the bar. Selected cocktails were on HH for $7/each. We started off with a round of Snake Oil Salesman and also did a round of Happy Hour Margaritas. Both were really tastyyyyy. I would have ordered more if we didn't have to head over to dinner. Most importantly they have OYSTERS on happy hour. My friends and I LOVE oysters. The pricing here is incredible compared to what I have to deal with back home in California. The Raw Oysters were $1.50/each and the Wood-Fired Oysters were $2.25/each. Between the three of us who shared, we got a dozen of each. For the wood fire oysters they had a chili butter and a rockefeller so we went half half. The raw oysters were so fresh and delicious. The baked oysters came with toasted slices of bread to soak up the sauces. Both were amazing in their own way and I could have honestly eaten a dozen of each by myself if we didn't have dinner plans shortly after. My FAVORITE stop in Orlando. This beats out Disney World for me. These oysters are my happiest place on earth. Calling all of the oyster lovers out there, this place is for you! read more

A+ for the experience What A couple of friends and I went and got a number of items to try. It definitely was a good experience which made everything tastier...? We got a 2 rolls, a couple of drinks and more appetizers,. The only incident I remember is that the edamame was cooked in butter and has cheese, cause I am avoiding dairy so I was able to spot the cheese to remove but didn't realize that they butter up the edamame... Environment Speak easy! Very fun entrance, but could get tiring. Needs reservations though. Ill keep how to enter up to your guessing Niceness of the staff I am a little disappointed that when mentioning to remove the cheese on the edamame they didn't realize that they needed to also remove the butter on it.. but they were able to take care of this quickly, just would've hoped this was done on the first go. I wish that the menu has more dietary indicators i.e dairy call outs especially. Dollar it was quite expensive, good for the experience Yes I would go again for the experience. read more

I love this place! The parking is a nightmare though keep in mind, also if you're trying to go to the speakeasy you've seen on Instagram, it is here, inside this restaurant but you have to make a reservation and I'm not sure kids are allowed in the speakeasy portion - you'd have to double check,. Anyways! It is a very loud restaurant here but it's fun and there's live music. The food is very good. It's not quite 100% New Orleans but it's insanely close and it's good! The drinks are fun and good as well. It's just a a very busy loud restaurant but good! Our server was great . Dined in on a Monday night for a birthday dinner. Vibes were immaculate, customer service was amazing, food was 10/10. We arrived early before we were able to be seated so the host said we can go to either the speakeasy bar or the other main bar to have a drink and wait. We went to the speakeasy bar and it was so cute I love the way it's set up and the bartenders were super attentive and quick to get to us. The speakeasy has a different set menus with sushi and nigiri, the drinks were really good as well. When we were sat for dinner we had the stuffed Mac n cheese, the small portion of the gumbo and the fried chicken sandwich. The Mac n cheese was amazing, really really good and would get again. The gumbo had a kick, amazing flavor! It was very smooth and hearty. The chicken sandwich was good but I could go without it, there's other stuff in the menu that will probably be better but the fries and the aioli were really good. I'm really impressed too how they were super attentive and accommodating to the birthday girl we ended up moving the tables a a way we felt was better and they did it no questions asked. We were a party of 15 and we all had a great time! read more
My wife and I came to Roka Hulu, the speakeasy inside of Voodoo Bayou, after dinner. They have a food menu, it looked like sushi/Asian, but we were stuffed and didn't try any, although the menu looked good. We came for one drink, figured we'd check it out while we were here. It had a very unique vibe and decor, very swanky, but we liked it. The bar tender was very friendly and our drinks were good, but our favorite part was the way you entered the speakeasy. You sat in these chairs, rubbed the ceramic cheetahs head and then the wall rotated. It was pretty cool. I have never experienced anything like it! We would definitely come back here to try more off of the menu! read more

I've been wanting to check this place out for a while now, and it did not disappoint! The ambiance was so unique and moody, we loved it! Our server was super attentive and knowledgeable. The cocktails were both pretty and tasty. Food was very good, lots of options! Would definitely recommend the fried green tomatoes to start. My husband loved his chicken and waffles. Amazing dessert options as well. We would come back here, and you definitely need to check out the speakeasy too! read more
What a cool establishment! They have don't a great job decorating the place with the gothic theme without it feeling "satanic". I almost felt out of place since I didn't wear black. Even with the theme, we were comfortable with our young daughter there on a Friday night. We were seated quickly (5min wait) for a party of three. I had two drinks that were both great. The prices are a bit high but that is becoming standard with inflation in the big metros. I especially enjoyed the voodoo child, it has a picture of Jimmy Hendrix floating in the foam! For food I went with the Jambalaya. It was honestly one of the best jambalayas I've had in a restaurant. So tasty and properly spicy, highly recommend. There was also a live band performing. This made the atmosphere a bit loud but it was fun. If you have time, check out the speakeasy. It is beautifully decorated! Very Yelp and IG worthy. We didn't have time as it was late, but we did take a peek inside. We will have to come back! read more

Girls night was amazing. The place has soooooo many things to look at. Well thought out. The staff 10/10. Everyone that we came in contact with was knowledgeable and friendly. Food ... hit or miss. Most of it I enjoyed some not so much. The Mac and cheese was a definite no for me. Shrimp and grits - amazing Collard greens and chicken wasn't that bad, rice was ok Drinks... looks super pretty but juicy and very pricey. Dessert... omg the beignets. We ordered some at the table and ordered some to go! The also have a speakeasy which takes you to the other restaurant Roka hula. Which i believe is Asian fused Didn't eat or drink anything on that side but safe to say I'll def be going back to try. Also make sure you take a picture in the chair at the entrance! Had come across Voodoo Bayou via a reel on Instagram. Being spooky kids that are now adults my wife & I knew we had to check this place out. After landing and dropping our bags off at our resort we decided to head over for lunch. We were quickly seated & our waitress Shelby came by to suggest some items and bring us water. We had ordered the Caesar Salad with grilled chicken & Chicken and Waffles as well as a Blackberry Lemonade. Service was great, Shelby answered any questions we had as well as made suggestions. The food was top notch and the jazz band playing worked well with the atmosphere. Definitely a must anytime we're in town. read more

I went to the soft opening a few years back and they havent taken their foot off the gas yet! The food here is so flavorful. Repeat diner and I will get those meatballs EVERY SINGLE TIME! Ever been served food by someone who is proud of the dish they created? They just wait to see how you respond, almost annoyingly..Thats me with these meatballs. You would have thought I made them myself with how much i talk them up. They are super tender, the sauce is rich and a bit spicy. Shrimp po boy was fantastic, the jambalaya is spicy so be mindful but the flavor is to die for. The catfish is another staple alongside the shrimp and grits. The oysters Rockefeller and deviled eggs are divine. I feel like im naming the entire menu but Honestly THE best creole cuisine in Orlando. Lets get into the drinks...if you're looking for a heavy pour, strong drinks that taste good, youve met your match here. The glassware is funky and fun. Once we drank too much literally 2 drinks (iykyk) so we ended up moving to the bar and ordering desserts and holyyyy, the best call. The butterscotch ice cream, the beignets, the skull dessert....dont say you weren't warned. They are sinfully good. If anyone ever asks for an recommendation on Sandlake, this is one. The ambiance is one of a kind. Its blasphemous in the best ways. The staff is so fun, the live entertainment, The decor and the vibes unmatched. read more

First time experiencing Voodoo and we went friends for food and drinks. Reservations highly recommended especially for the weekends. The menu, both drinks and food, provides you with plenty of options. Lots of fun drink options, or you can order a "regular" drink of choice. The food tasted great and again plenty of options. We had the biscuits, cornbread and shrimp for appetizers; wings fried chicken and mushroom pasta; all delicious! Service was top notch! Fast, friendly, and well timed. Not overly fast either. Our server Thomas was amazing! Only slight less than 5 star for me / it's a little pricey. This isn't a regular weekend stop for me. It's definitely a cool place to take friends or family who are in town and want to experience something different. read more

Returned to one of my favorite restaurants for lunch, and once again, it did not disappoint! This time, I tried the Brick Chicken with collards and rice. The chicken had a perfect balance of spices, and the collards were absolutely delicious. The rice was decent, though not particularly noteworthy. We also ordered the Cornbread and Beignets--and let me tell you, do NOT skip these! There are times I'm tempted to come here just for those two items. Both are simply outstanding and a must-try. This was an amazing dinner! First, I want to give a shot-out to our server, Ben! He was amazing, friendly, and just overall over the top! He shared that he has only been a sever for three weeks and he used to work in the kitchen. You'd never know he had less than a month being a server! He was great! 5 stars alone just for Ben! Now the drinks! My boyfriend had depeache mode, which was Horse Soldier Bourbon, Southern Style Peach Tea, Pineapple & Lemon. I had a sip, and it was quite good! I had voodoo smoked old fashioned. It was DELICIOUS!! Perfect for sipping! It was Old Forester Bourbon, Voodoo Bayou House Infused Bitters, Cinnamon, and Vanilla Demerara. It's also their signature cocktail! I highly recommend it! For dessert we both had the espresso martini, which came with a little beignet garish. It was so good! Now food!! For an appetizer we shared a dozen oysters and cajun meatballs. Let me tell you....whatever is above delicious...is what these appetizers were. Complete euphoria! For entrees my boyfriend got the catfish and I had the etouffee. Have I already mentioned how delicious the food is here? Welll, both were delicious! If I could give more stars I would! Food and service was top notch! First, atmosphere is fun. Second, decor is cool. Third, drinks do not disappoint. Fourth, the food is okay. I've been a couple of times because I like the food (big shout out to the fried chicken) but others have expressed disappoint in taste. So I'd say this is worth a visit to judge for yourself. Service is good. I had my last birthday party here, with a table of about 17 and service didn't miss a beat. Plus we were able to split checks, a big plus. If you visit, plan to try their speakeasy, Roka Hula, while there. It's separate but within the same building. read more
Service: AMAZING! Our team waitress Shelby was so friendly and attentive. She went above and beyond by suggesting great menu items and adjusting cocktails to fit my specific taste. Food: delicious! Everything is seasoned so well. The red beans and rice were def my favorite. They taste homemade, a bit of a kick, but it's great comfort food. The gumbo was also delicious! Packed with chicken and shrimp. The mushroom bolognese was different, nothing like I've had before. While tasty, it does get a bit one note after a couple of bites. Serving sizes are pretty good too! Ambiance: Very lively atmosphere for dinner. They have live music. Great for groups or even for date night. It's not super quiet, so keep that in mind, but overall great fun. We've been to the location in West Palm Beach a few times so we thought we would try the Orlando location. We tried to get a reservation but none were available so we tried it as a walk in. Hostess told us it would be 45 minutes but the bar is open seating. She then volunteered that she could sit us at a hi-top. We took that. Good seat with a good sized table. The bar area is a bit elevated over the table area so you get a unobstructed view of the restaurant. We order smoked old fashioneds and corn bread to start. Shrimp and grits and shrimp & Crawfish ettouffe for our dinner. Food and service was good. I wish they would space out food delivery a bit. We were still working on our corn bread when the entrees were delivered. The bill includes 18% service which out waiter advised was the included tip A manager stopped by at the end of our meal. He mentioned that the restaurant's bar focuses on whiskey while the secret speakeasy is rum based. We took a quick peek at that. We will try that next time read more

I LOVE the spooky vibes!!! I am a spooky girl 365 , so this was the place for me! Servers were really friendly and nice. The food was really good too. My favorite was the skull shaped monkey bread, which we got for dessert. The drinks were really creative and I loved how mine came in a gold goblet. I felt really fancy lol! This place also has a speak easy attached. I haven't tried it yet, but can't wait to go back. read more
Been wanting to check out this restaurant for a while!!! Got to finally try it out last night. It's definitely a New Orleans vibe restaurant with a jazz band that was playing really nice music. The food was the best I've had since having Cajun food in New Orleans . I don't normally like grits , but their shrimp and grits was on point. The cornbread was addicting - beware, I am still craving it tonight . My husband ordered the fried chicken with hot honey and biscuits which he cleaned his plate for. I tried the biscuit and it melted in my mouth- you could tell it was homemade . He also has never liked grits before ....until he tried my shrimp and grits last night from here! We couldn't finish and brought them home and it's still tasty!!! Another cool thing- they even have a secret room !! You sit in these chairs by the hostess stand and it turns into another room with a smaller bar! Super cool establishment. Def would come back! read more

Absolutely great experience. We had reservations for four and had to add an extra. No problem as they were super accommodating. We had reservations at 7pm and were seated promptly. The server was awesome. She did a great job explaining the menu and options. We had several appetizers including the nice large juicy raw oysters. The BBQ shrimp were delicious and the sauce was so dippable. We the sweet cornbread was also good. We had several Jambalayas and a chicken and waffles. All of it was so good. The decor was super spot on and felt very New Orleans. The Speakeasy side of it is also awesome. Not sure how to get to get in there but loved the hidden door. read more
