This store is large and usually well stocked. I don't have a had time finding what I need when going here. For the best savings, use their app for digital coupons. It's kind if annoying that you have to do all of that, but it will save you some money. Their deli has some of the best grocery store fried chicken IMO. If you are interested in the Pokemon vending machine don't waste your time. Old men are camping out by it and the Vons employees aren't allowing the process to be a fair luck of the draw if you come in. It should be check and leave but nope... scalpers are sitting there. I like to play a game and ask them questions about Pokemon to see how much they LOVE Pokemon and every single time they know nada. I actually love Pokemon. I collect a ton of plushies and pins and products of all types and cards too so it would be nice if I could stop by Vons and not see people hovering over the vending machines every time I'm there. Barely come here, but I will say this Vons has a decent/okayish selection and a variety of offerings. Ambiance is clean which is good. The main downside is the lack of employees working the cashiers and lack of overall staff. The most recent reviews from recently and a year ago are true. The lack of service from the staff is pretty mediocre at this location. It's like they hired the most stereotypical Santa Clarita mediocre boring looking Karen's aka the managers/store associates and the rest are the other mediocre people to be employed at this Vons location. The other Vons is slightly better on Lyons avenue. But, can be hit or miss. Only come here if you are bored out of your mind in Santa Clarita and want to experience the most mediocre service/employees to ever set foot in a Vons grocery store. read more

Had a last-minute event and called the night before, Denis was incredibly helpful and accommodating with my order. I placed a large tray of pretzel sandwiches, and they had everything ready right on time the next morning at 9 am. I even called ahead to double-check, and they were all set. I am unfamiliar with the area and did not know where to find certain things. I asked one of the cashiers his name was Michelle. Michelle was amazing knew exactly what aisle what I was looking for was. Exactly where it was located on the shelf and directed me accordingly! You don't find people like that very often anymore so I had to shout her praises out... thank you! Found exactly what I was looking for exactly where she said it it would be. I love that I saved so much time not wandering through the isles looking for things. So I just wanted to make sure that Vons knows that they have a 5 star employee! Around 10:40 pm on the 5th of January, 2026 still enjoying the new year I stopped at Ralph's before going to work at the post office down the street to get some needs. I headed for the self-serve to purchase my items, had a little problem with paying and the light went on to alert staff. But no one came. So I called a Karen the Karing Kashier to help me. ( Just to be clear she seen the light flashing) As I thought I'd be saved she began to talk down to me and treat me with negative vibes. No professionalism. It was very disappointing. Their items can be a little pricey but if you buy them on sale the deals are great. The blonde cashier we went to was awesome, she had such a sweet and bubbly personality. Hard to find cashiers who like their jobs these days. Very clean store, good customer service, we bought sale items so we got excellent deals, what more could anyone ask for? I stopped by this Vons store today to get my wife her flowers for her nursing ceremony and also to get a tide pen since I got a stain on my wife shirt. I found parking easily here since it's a big plaza. When I walked in, I saw where the flowers were but I had to walk around to find where the cleaning supplies were. The store is very organized and they have a lot of cashier station. I found the flower that I like and I also found the tide pen that I wanted. read more

Just love this Vons location! The price point is amazing, the employees here from each department seem to have zero issues with going above and beyond honestly how can you beat that though?Ya can't! Pleasure of being helped by Nick he is the meat Mgr, what a professional employee, answered all of my questions in great detail, took the time to listen to what I wanted and had no problems preparing the cuts exactly the way I needed, such a great guy with a great happy personality too! Upon checking out I was helped by Gloria, she seems very kind hearted! I received carry out help from jessie as I had a lot of grocery bags. Jessie he is a clerk and a really hardworking employee, I always see him cleaning up or helping out people on the floor! You can see he is very much appreciated by all customers! I returned back a 2cd time and was assisted by Michelle! She is such a beautiful person inside out...She is super great at multitasking! She is always working and always with a smile, not sure anyone else there works harder than her! The store was super clean and all shelves were stocked! Holiday Headquarters too! This Vons market on The Old Rd. in Stevenson Ranch was one of my mother's regular go-to places until last Tue(11/2624) when around 3pm my mother was mugged, as she was exiting after she did some grocery there. Someone either punched her in the chin or pushed her, she fell down and lost consciousness and when she woke up a little while later, her handbag was stolen. She lost everything in her handbag: cash, credit cards, car key, checkbook, keys, etc. Someone called 911 for her and my mother in her 80s was ambulanced to nearby Henry Mayo's ER. Fortunately she had no fracture but she was severely bruised. One thing shocking was that when I and mother revisited the Vons later in the evening to ask whether we can see a CCTV footage, the manager told us that they have NO external CCTVs on their outside walls! They only had interal CCTVs installed. When I visited other markets, most if not all of them have external CCTVs (eg, Ralphs). I felt not having external CCTVS monitoring the parking lot in front of the store and the surroundings was very irresposible and a huge dis-service. Due to the unsafeness, Mom decided to not go to Vons any more. I hope this posting becomes a safety warning to others and hopely would make Vons management come to its senses to install CCTV cameras on its outside walls, as such would be a very minimal investment to provide security to its customers. read more

I got the Häagen-Dazs coffee flavor and my SO got the vanilla one (boring). The store is pretty much empty. The shelves are organized and fully stocked. Fast and easy transaction at the register. Finally a woman opens the next lane with no announcement to the people already in line that she is open and taking the next in line. So of course people just step in front of everyone else. This review is for Luke who provided me with great customer service when I needed help with my order pick up. On the Vons app be aware that the pick up time is not necessarily exact. I ordered for pick up at 5 PM, but after placing the order, it said it would be ready anywhere between 5 and 8 PM. I called the store since I would only be in the area to pick up the groceries at 5 and Luke was kind enough to help me and adjust the order time. Phenomenal. Since having this incredibly atrocious experience at my neighborhood Vons, I have continued to shop here strictly out of necessity. Pleased to report that there's been a tremendous turnaround and only amazing, courteous, and helpful customer service - even @10:45 on a Monday night. Specifically Luc is an outstanding clerk and has gone above & beyond to be helpful & friendly. This store is clean, has great produce & meats, is well organized, and has a great selection of food items. But most notable an incredible improvement in the area of customer service. read more

This store is a great place to shop for grocery items, especially in my case, when I was just visiting the area. I found the store really clean and well-lit! The staff were very attentive of all the customers that looked like they needed help or something. I mainly came here for the cooked food items and all of the items I got were good enough. It's not five-star cuisine as such...but good enough for the rumblies-in-me-tummies at the time. The store had pandemic precautions in place. They did require customers to wear masks as the staff were too. The staff also wore gloves. Sanitizers were available also for the customers' use. As far as price is concerned, I will leave this to the other reviewers as I am not a frequent customer here. But as far as stock is concerned, the shelves are always full. It looks like they stock everything a regular household needed. And as far as brands, they had a few for customer's to pick from. It is a nice experience to shop at this location. read more

Due to my experience with Sarah I almost didn't want to come back. However, I decided to give this store another try. This time I went to a different check out lane but happen to notice the other cashier from the last visit. As we were leaving I can see and hear Sarah waving her hands and raising her voice at me when I was walking out. I was shocked to have another experience with the same cashier that didn't even check me out this time. I spoke to the supervisor Michelle who was very nice. I explained now I'm uncomfortable coming into your store due to the ongoing harassment with the cashier Sarah. I should not have to feel uncomfortable shopping somewhere, or be continuously attacked by an employee. This is my last visit to the Stevenson Ranch Vons, where I have been a customer since they opened. I will from now on drive a few minutes further to the Lyons avenue Vons. I have had problems with the expired dated products on the shelves for some time now. I even showed an employee, but they didn't seem to care. Yesterday I again found expired hummus, so I didn't buy any. Then I bought 2 bags of their fried chicken special that we love and a full cart of other stuff. The bagger seemed to not know what he was doing and I fully realized that when I got home and found the eggs at the bottom of the bag with one broken. And the travel Starbucks coffee was no where to be found, the deli chips were stale, and the chicken was dried out, overcooked, and did not taste good at all. I called the store, but they didn't pick up. I thought they were probably on a rush, so tried several times later, but still no answer. The next morning I took my receipt to the store to let them know what was up. I could only speak with a cashier who gave me the missing coffee packs and said I should bring the chicken back. I went home and a few hours later called in, but again no answer. I then called the deli. I explained that I bought chicken that was awful and wanted to exchange it and had other issues about my recent trip there. She said the manager could help me. I thought, great. Then it was just the same lady who said I could get a refund. I said, I wanted to exchange it for fresh chicken. She said they would give a refund and I could buy it again. But it is a different price today. She went away to speak with the manager again. Then the line was disconnected. Aah! So, I took the chicken into the store to the customer service counter that now had several people. I started to voice my problems, but the man cut me off and waved me over to a cashier to handle. No customer service! I took my refund and went to the Lyons Vons where I found wonderful fresh chicken, hummus that didn't expire, and friendly staff. read more

I have been a 15-year customer. Recently I have noticed a decline in customer service and quality of deli food. We stopped coming in and have gone to Ralph's. Today I came back to give them another chance. I waited by the deli, said hi to lady preparing sushi. Didnt reply, she had airpods on. Gave her a few minutes maybe she's busy. I said hi again, she said "Wait". She kept making sushi. 5mins went by and another lady finally noticed and asked if I needed help? So I purchased regular chicken wings and salt & vinegar. Never fails that the express line gets held up for some reason or another & it becomes much too long of a wait for a couple items. Seems like there is so much room to take out one of those unused checkout lanes & put in at least a few self checkout machines. Would make things incredibly more smooth.
