    I can't believe I drove to Ralph's to get some fried chicken to find out that they cannot sell the chicken because the barcode and the scales are not working, so therefore I can't purchase chicken today that was fried and my mouth was watering for it. 82.

    My wife and I stopped by this Ralph when we were waiting to be seated at a restrauant in the same plaza. This Ralph is nicely decorated inside I like their deli and bakery area. Their meat and seafood area is not as big as other Ralph's store but it works for them. I was interested in seeing what soda they have here because every store carries different flavor. I was able to find the cherry coke which the Ralph's store near my house is always sold out or they don't have it. This store also have some nice flowers selection in the front when you walk in so you can see them first. I also like that this store has a lot of self checkout because it speed the process. The parking here is amazing because it's in a big lot and with a lot of other stores closed down, it's a very quiet plaza. I would come back to this Ralph's location again if I was in the area.

    Hours are late at this location. 1:00 am. They say. A woman needed diapers and me who only needed 2 items pulled up at 12:45 am. This is what we where greeted with. (See photos). I am writing this article 12:54 am. I have not had this happen at other Ralph's locations, in fact I have had generally positive experiences. 1) If you are not going to be open until 1:00 am, do not advertise that you ARE open at 1:00 am. 2) If there are situations where you will not be open until 1:00 am, set expectations, let the customer know . 3) If this location is an exception to the open until 1:00 am, let the search providera you advertise with know your correct hours. Added a few photos for flavor, including employee stocking pretending not to notice me and the woman who just needed diapers.

While I was waiting at the register for her to ring me up, the least she could have done was acknowledge me and say she'd be right with me, but instead she kept talking with her coworkers. Once she finally started ringing me up, she began grabbing the hand basket on the conveyor belt and mumbling to herself, seeming upset. I mentioned that everything I had was already rung up and that the basket wasn't mine. She then started shouting at me, saying she knew that. Then, when it came time for payment, she began shouting at me again because apparently I was "taking too long," even though the screen was prompting me to wait for the cashier. She kept yelling that she was waiting on me and telling me to "go." When I called the store to complain, the floor manager said she would pass the message along and that the store manager would reach out. Well, here we are four days later and still no call from the store manager. I have only visited this store a handful of times, and every experience has involved awful customer service. I will never shop here again. That was the last straw. If employees don't want to assist customers, then please consider adding self-checkout stations.

    I had one of those small but meaningful experiences at Whole Foods last Saturday that completely…read morerestored my faith in customer service. While I was in line, an elderly woman ahead of me was struggling to find her Amazon Prime number to receive her discount, holding up a long line in the process. The cashier, Opal, was extraordinarily patient. She didn't rush her, didn't sigh, and didn't treat her like an inconvenience. Instead, she calmly walked her through how to locate the number on her phone, ensured she received the savings she was entitled to, and graciously answered multiple questions afterward. It was genuine kindness -- not performative, not transactional -- just respectful and thoughtful service. What made it even more special was that the manager on duty, Gina, came over to bag groceries at our line. As Opal was ringing up my order, I asked Gina if she was Opal's manager. You could see a split-second look cross her face, as though she were bracing for a complaint. But I quickly told her that Opal had delivered exemplary customer service to the woman ahead of me. Gina was visibly relieved and appreciative when she realized it was praise. And Opal heard the whole exchange! It was such a sweet moment. In a world where people are quick to criticize and slow to compliment, this interaction truly stood out. Opal treated that customer with dignity and patience, and Gina clearly fosters a culture where that kind of service is encouraged. Whole Foods should be proud to have both of them.
