I really like the layout of the store--it's easy to navigate, well organized, and makes shopping a pleasant experience. The staff is also always friendly and welcoming, which makes a big difference. I'm especially excited about the new Klatch Coffee addition! Klatch is one of my preferred coffee spots, so being able to grab my favorite coffee while shopping at Sprouts makes this location even more convenient. Great store, friendly team, and now great coffee too!

Review The place…read moreitself is excellent, and the food is really good, which is why it's disappointing to say that the service needs significant improvement. The staff is extremely slow, and in my experience, there is also a lack of care when preparing the food. The employee leaned so far over the table while making the sandwiches that her clothing and body were practically over the food. I understand that everyone has different body types, but this is something that should be handled much more carefully for hygiene and food-safety reasons. On top of that, her attitude was not very friendly, which made the experience even less pleasant. It's unfortunate because the food and the place are great, but the lack of speed, cleanliness, care, and customer service really affects the overall experience. I hope this can be taken as constructive feedback and that these areas can be improved.

The bathrooms are pretty clean and most of the prices are pretty reasonable. I do feel like some of the daily made food is a bit overpriced, but after 7pm, they do offer discounts. I do feel that the ambiance offers something very different than other markets as the store is usually decorated and generally feels clean, although it used to feel cleaner in the past prior to 2020. Always love visiting here from time to time, especially to get some sake. The size of this Tokyo Central is also a bit bigger than most others, but I do feel like other TC's are more modern and cleaner than this one, but you still can't go wrong here. Edit: I went today because I was in the area and the store feels much cleaner and they added a brand new sushi bar with a chef where the old anime stuff used to be. It's pretty nice and the store feels slightly refreshed. 4.5/5.

Easy ti make for anytime meal. It wasn't on sale, but I still grab it for convenience. They took out the section for apparel, too bad! I used to buy their cute T-shirts and hoodies. They are good quality. Oh, too bad ~~ Cashiers was pretty nice and gave us bags for my Dad's EBT. Really wish they have a Tokyo Central near us, I live to shop there!

Well no ish idiot, I don't think you'd serve leftover wings from last night, but just because you made them this morning that doesn't mean they are fresh you DAB. Some people are just stupid and ignorant. I'll shop at Von's down the street, they never have a problem dropping fresh food in the fryer nor do they complain or make comments when asked nicely.

Larios Market was recommended to me by a wonderful fellow Yelper. You know who you are. Thank you!…read more I wanted to get guacamole, salsa, and chips for a team potluck lunch. I got rave reviews on these items that they are super good at Larios so here I am to confirm. This market is located at the corner of Barranca Ave and Arrow Highway in Covina. It's actually a meat market, but they sell produce and other food/dry items plus hot foods. It's a very small place with maybe 3-4 tight aisles. I went straight to the refrigeration area. I saw lots of different salsas and a handful of guacamole. At first glance, the appearance of the guac did not look appealing to me. It looked brown and kind of watery at the top. I was hesitant to get them, but since they were recommended, I got 3 of them. Now looking back, I should have only gotten one just to try them. It was not that great IMHO. Maybe they were not made that day and have been hanging around for a day or so. However, the roasted red salsa was really really good... I would highly recommend this one. Pico de gallo was decent. Crab ceviche was just okay... too much of the V8 taste. I ended up buying 6 containers and spent over $50 on guac and salsa. Probably more than I need. I didn't bother with the chips as they look more on the oily side. Anyway, staff was nice and helpful. Check out was fast as it wasn't super busy at the time. Parking is limited. They do have a few tables and stools outside in front of the market for those who want to eat here after their food purchase. I'm not sure if I would come back for the guac, but I may come back for the roasted red salsa and possibly their tacos and burritos.

Noticed an elderly couple had been waiting for cashier and when they asked I'm guessing the manager. Expressed with rudeness to couple that there were no cashiers and he need to help in self check out. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't like someone thanking to your parents that way. No response from him and he proceeded to scan the items. Manager or employee shouldn't be speaking to customers with that response or that tone. If you don't have cashiers before you open the store to customers, you shouldn't be opening the doors then. Very unprofessional and urgently require management skills, priority skills when running a supermarket. Star should be a negative

The sale items are also misleading if you're not careful. Be prepared to wait in line, but do not delay, they are guaranteed to sell out. The employees are the nicest and most friendliest of all grocery stores I have ever been you. It's easy to see they "like" their job and value the customers. You can buy flowers, ready made salads, canned and frozen foods, cookies, ice cream, and greeting cards at a bargain price, etc. The infamous TWO BUCK CHUCK wine is now three dollars, still a good value. On this visit I was pleasantly surprised to see Pumpkin Wine! I chilled it at home, it tastes like spiced cider. They also sell their own brand of Mexican beer, cleverly named Trader Jose (available in Dark or Light brew). It tastes just as good as the competitors. Sincerely, Rosemary
