Dang...go here much??? LOL!…read more There is always something new at TBS! I ordered Tio Will's chicken sandwich. Oh man...sooooooooo good! Daveed had his original with bacon but with a salad...trying to keep it healthy! i still had to have my garlic fries. I also love how cold their beer is, and the Tierra Madre never disappoints! Of course, Ms. Cako had to have her puppy patty. The staff is always so welcoming and friendly! Because of the heat, they put us in the private dining room, which we appreciated! I wonder what new delicious burger/sandwich they'll come up with for this month! Whatever it is, looking forward to it!

I came down here because I have a friend from up north who's come down here a few times and suggested this place. He said it's one of his favorite places when he's in town, so that's saying a lot if it's a top place for him and the family. He was right. This was a juicy and incredibly tasty burger. I'd say it's up there with Amboy in Chinatown (Los Angeles) or the newer Amboy spot at Haven City Marketplace in Covina. This place is a gem. Ordering can be a little misleading; hence minus one star. This is a food court setup, and there are menus for each restaurant in these individual stands that are placed on top of a snack wall. If you're going to order from Rey TJ Burgers, it'll be to the left of the main restaurant/register that's directly in front of you when you enter. The main line is Mexican (and seafood I believe?), so I was standing for a while until a lady realized I was holding the Rey TJ burger and called me over. Ordering was easy. Rey TJ's didn't have drinks, so I hard to order from the Mexican food line. The cucumber aqua fresca was AMAZING. Definitely one of the best experiences since I've had since I've moved to the San Diego area. I'm loving it here more and more. I've also had the opportunity to practice a lot of Spanish which I absolutely appreciate. The people here are amazing and much warmer than many of the parts of Los Angeles. Buen dia!

Big Dawg was more traditional. Cheese and pickles. Fantastic Burgers are smash style. SO MUCH FLAVOR! Buns and toppings were great. Legit a wonderful burger. Both of them! My buddy got the garlic parm and wouldn't stop raving. Fries were fire. Straight up. They gave me yellow peppers with both burgers and plenty of sauce with an offer for more if needed. The guys were great! Very helpful and nice and friendly and great!

The first time we went I ordered the garlic green beans which were actually no longer on the menu. They were quite tasty. I also ordered a side of fried chicken which was also good. Our favorite server, Nathan, is a lead now. We were seated in Matt's area and he was our server. Nathan came by to say hi and greet us, this is excellent customer service here. Matt was also great and customer service oriented and he took our order for table apps and drinks. The ambiance here is fun, family friendly, cool, and good vibes all around. They have a DJ some Saturdays. There are also very cool theme nights. Tonight was "Wing Wednesday". I posted a photo of the theme nights. For example, Thursday is Teachers 15% Discount Day and Karaoke. The walls, seating, and table decor is very nice. The design element here is wonderful. We didn't realize the sausage party already included pretzel bites so we had double the amount of pretzels, our server failed to mention this to us. The food was unfortunately extra greasy, we felt so sick with all the grease that we couldn't finish it. The "pretzel" bites tasted like slices bread soaked in oil. The sausages were also all covered in oil. I would not have paid regular price for this food. Aside from that, staff was super nice. I just think they could improve on the amount of oil they use in their food!
